Beautiful park. One of my favorite places to just sit and reflect.

Its always relaxing. Ive never been there when it was crowded.

Its a small beach with a mixed view as you can see the capital and a factory across the water. The bonus was the swingset which included a baby swing. Another bonus was the flowers along the fence. For a small beach, I was surprised to find a public bathroom with interesting architecture.

It was quiet to start, got busy after an hr which was fine. Only complaint was the algae, seaweed and the smell from them. But our 4 and 2 year old enjoyed it so thats what counts

Mostly had the place to our self, nice bathrooms, and shelter for birthday party. Beach was clean and so was the playground. The water however did have quite a bit of sea plants and could potentially be dangerous so becareful.

If I say it is a great place, will it suddenly become over crowded?I want it to be MY secret place to get away.

Good to take my grandson to.

Chill spot, great for kids/families, small fishing area. Beautiful view looking towards the isthmus. Quiet. Nice.

This is a small park, but it is beautiful! It has a small beach right on Lake Monona. There is a shelter and restrooms that are open until 10pm daily.

Peaceful, pretty, tucked away in one of my favorite Madison neighborhoods.

The stuff that dreams are made of

The park itself is nice, but the water looks like sewage water. I would not recommend going for a swim here. There are swings for the kids. Being in the neighborhood, we come here every now and then. Beware of the mosquitoes here. Overall, nice place to have a picnic.

The new restrooms are great. I prefer the beaches with better views. The small swimming area and the weeds could be better. A lifeguard is there on weekends!

Clean, well-lit bathroom, bike racks, a couple picnic tables and a swing set. Beach was pretty clean (for a Madison lake beach) plus a lifeguard on duty.

Nice little place to stop at. Enjoy the sun and a little beach.
