I take one of my students to an adaptive fitness class at the UW Natatorium. The class is great and helps out people with disabilities. My student pairs up with other students who are attending UW and this is apart of their schooling. They do have a private bathroom for people with disabilities which is a big help! The staff is great!

An older building, its a bit difficult to get around. Attended a state swim meet to see a friend swim and was told that they couldnt sell any tickets due to lack of seats. They finally put 12 up for sale so I got in, but seating was packed beyond belief and the further back seats are really far from the pool. Other than that a decent center

Great facility. It may be older but it doesn’t show its age

Very busy from 4:00pm - 6:00pm consistently. All of the cardio machines upstairs will be taken, and the weight room will be packed as well. I suggest going around 9:00pm or 10:00pm to avoid the rush if it fits your schedule.

Facilities are really awesome. With courts for badminton, basketball and many other sports, world class gym facilities and really big swimming pool, it is a must-go place for university students.

They have everything you need. The basketball courts get a little crowded sometimes with badminton players sometimes using them. It gets hot during summer because the indoor courts dont have air circulation. Staff are kind. Give them a raise

The natatorium has tons of equipment and group fitness classes. As a UW student access to facilities is free with your student ID, but there is community access available as well.

Be

Tons of fitness options, many included with regular membership. Very reasonable rates for UW students and employees.

While the SERF is being reconstructed, most students and faculty and graduate students come here. I like their selection and abundance of free weights. Peak hours - evening- is overcrowded as usual. Great to come in early morning.

It is a full fledged gym with all exercising equipments along with a swimming pool and indoor courts for badminton, squash and basketball. A great place to go when you are looking to stay fit. :)

I only go to the weightlifting area. Theres basically no A/C. Haha I want to die, my eyes hurt from the sweat. I come to admire my muscles in the mirrors not to sweat, this is too much like cardio.

Da
Review №33

Good location for me, but has been very crowded at times. Try to go at off-peak hours if possible. I am a little worried with the SERF closing about this getting worse.

Good place. Has every machine and workout you would ever really want. Would recommend to a friend. There are also cheap lockers here if you have had problems with theft in the past.

Br

Way too crowded during SERF renovations. Locker rooms are pretty grungy and the womens showers dont work well.

There is so much room for activities here but everything is a bit dated. On a weird part of campus.

There are lots of options to choose from: rooms for machine weights, free weights, and cardio; group exercise gyms; raquetball; and a pool. There is a fair range of equipment for a facility this size and check out is relatively easy. This place is crowded! Maybe if you can go mid morning or mid afternoon it might less packed, but the rest of the day it is pretty busy so plan on maybe having to wait for your equipment. There is also no AC so the hotter months are not too pleasant and the building perpetually has an undercurrent of old sweat.

Better equipped and less crowded compared to the SERF. Great location. Lift weights, exercise, swim and if bored go for a hike to the picnic point if weather is propitious.

I cant imagine working out anywhere else. Just an excellent facility all round.

Il
Review №43

I cant comment about the facilities here because I just went here to use the bathroom and lazy couch potatoes like me dont workout. In order to enter the building you need to get your wiscard scanned at the front desk (takes about 5-15 seconds) so better control your bowel movement wisely. Anyway, bathrooms here are so dirty and disgusting! I would rather use van vleck/hise restrooms. Yuck! Will never come back here again for restroom
