Such a gorgeous church. I visited for a baptism and was amazed by the decor and grandeur. Very true to an older time and look. Would visit and attend Mass again.

I am an Atheist but I love to see these buildings for their arquitectural structures. I would love to live in a place like this. Super high ceilings, thick walls and lots of natural light. I love the vintage wood frames and ornaments not to mention the ceiling with its wooden beams(amazing). I have to go after mass so I dont interrupt the people there. No one says a word to you if you are taking pictures, so if you go just be respectful.

Ive always seen this place from the 110 freeway. You can visit from the Santa Monica rail, which is $1.75Very ornate, and the only Church Ive ever seen that has a Nativity ALL YEAR round! Its beautiful, hand crafted by wood. They also have one of the most incredible Mary Immaculates.But, for some reason, theirs a vending machine, that sells, get this, holy water? Uh....

I heard of this church by listening to Father Alexander Paciolli. If youre looking for a place of prayer youve got to visit St. Vincent de Paul, not only is this church breath taking when you walk into it, because of its beauty but youll feel the stillness that will bring you peace while doing meditation and prayer. It is quiet, and there is much to see and appreciate.

Went spanish Mass Sunday morning the vibe of the people was cool. The architecture was very cool

This is a beautiful church to get married they have sunday mass on English at 7:30 am & 12pm and Spanish at 9am,10:30,1:30, and 5 pm, weddings and quinceaneras on Saturday at 1 pm & 4pm only, confessions Saturday from 10 am to 11 and baptism the 4 Saturday of every month on English on Spanish every 3rd Saturday of the month all together no private baptism and just ages 0 to 6 years, and get ready with the money nothing its free even the Baptist all together everybody pays, not even the mass they ask like 3 times for money during the service any kind of mass so bring extra change

Its a Roman Catholic Church. Has a school. Has a big parking lot. They have many ministries for the people including Knights of Columbus. The parish itself is a gorgeous architecture!

Old Paul, as it is lovingly referred, is one of the most beautiful cathedrals Ive ever been to. There is an immense feeling of peace that makes St. Vincent what it is. The people here are kind and youll be sure to see someone getting married or a quince, either way beautiful gowns can often be seen adorning the church steps. As a kid I often thought these girls were princesses . Lovely place!

Beautiful church in the heart of downtown LA and a very nice area that is gentrifying by USC. The church inside is gorgeous intricate background in the altar space. And oppressor very nice and they do many many messages during the weekends and many different languages. The people are very nice and very friendly to welcome new people.

Church is nice. I love the structure I baptized my kids here and it was a long ceremony of 6 hours. I like the mass they have made it more instructional and not the same routine of just praying the prayers the whole hour They are improving their service. Overall its a great church to attend.

I am a Vincentian at heart. I do not come here for making friends, I come here for a spiritual setting. It is peaceful, meditative but most of all the church has a soul.

My parents use to bring me to this church as a child. Coming back and seeing the amazing architecture inside its out of this world. I think its worth the trip if you are driving up to staples center or downtown Los Angeles. Be respectful when taking professional photography.

Beautiful church. English Mass in the afternoon. Quick half hour. Good for those that want to get in and out.

This church is very ornate inside and will find many areas inside for prayer or reflection. I recommend during the week to visit for the best time to look or just take in this Church. Parking is easy and a small grassy area is nice to sit and read a book or have lunch.

Smack dab in the middle of the crowded USC area is this lovely church, with its stunningly intricate architecture and beautiful interior. Even the lamp posts are super ornate! I will say that it seems like they tacked gorgeous sculptures on to a plain Jane building, but when it looks this pretty who cares. The little balconies up top look like they offer breathtaking views, but sadly I doubt they allow anyone up there!

I went there last week and I’m eagerly waiting for the next time when i can go there and relax my mind.

I love this church and even though I am young and havent gone to this church for a long time I still love I already come here with my mom on Sundays

This is such a beautiful and historic Catholic churh there is no wonder why so many choose it for filming and photography. There is just so much to explore from its architecture to its history if in the the area or in Los Angeles dont forget to stop by. You will not regret it. I have attended many ceremonies here some among my own since I was brought up in the Catholic faith and it is part of my tradition and culture. It is always a pleasure to visit and no matter what your beliefs are you can deny the feeling of peace that one has in this beautiful place of worship.

Theres something special about an on-campus mass. They often have additional mass times for those that cant always make it to 9AM mass on Sunday morning.Aesthetically its a beautiful building and the music program is stellar. Plus I took a moment to relish the echo as the music bounced around the high ceilings.This may be one of the most succinct masses Ive gone to and the free parking on Sundays didnt hurt either.

This is a beautiful church, and its an important part of LAs architectural history. The priests are smart, interesting, funny. The congregation is diverse, and while not exactly welcoming, friendly enough. Parking is challenging, and getting in and out on Fig SUCKS.

This place is very welcoming and friendly to everyone.

I got married at this church. The priest and the staff were wonderful. This church is absolutely gorgeous; I believe it may be the most beautiful Catholic church in the entire county.

The one star is because the church is very beautiful and clean and it should be considering all they ask you during mass is money. I went to mass and the first 40 minutes were strictly business. They put a screen up asking for donations. It was ridiculous!

Beautiful church. In fact one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. BUT--they dont want you to take pictures of it. WHY? And I am not talking about during mass. That, I would totally understand. They keep the doors open all day, every day. Whats so bad about photographing this architectural treasure? Whats the harm? And I am talking about with NO FLASH. Most Catholic churches want their buildings to be enjoyed, photographed, and appreciated. Not St. Vincent. And its a real shame.

Very nice service. Very ornate church

This church is the absolute worst! If you want to enroll your young ones go else where. They ask for donation on top of donation and then sell you back those donations which you gave to them in the first place. Each mass there are about 3 different times they ask for money. The leaders for the communion and confirmation programs are stuck up and expect you to lick their feet for everything. Their mentality is pretty much that whatever they tell you to do is above everything else, your child has a presentation at school? They dont care your child better show up. They are very conservative about religion, very orthodox. Im not talking 19th and 20th century orthodox im talking B.C. plus their attitude is the worst part of all this, they have this attitude of power and look down upon whoever comes and talks to them about something. They burden you with petty tasks and many donations are mandatory. Overall the worst church weve ever been involved with.
