Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, ongoing Soccer Fields are closed. Thus, we had to improvise. We bring our own set of Movie lights and a gas generator. Each persons grab a light or cable when they get there, take it to the proper location, and we set up in under 7 minutes and away we go. Our own private field.

This is a big park with many sport facilities. I go to play tennis here and really like it. We do play late in evenings with lights on. There are 6 courts with minimal wait times.

Very cool place. Something for everyone, even have a roller rink! The playground is great too and different since it’s all sand.

This place is awesome. Basket ball courts, soccer field, baseball diamond, tennis courts, hockey rink, and a play structure! So much space as well!

Whenever I saw those pictures of people standing in front of the Golden Gate Bridge I pretty much compared it to tourists taking pictures of James Browns star on Hollywood Blvd. But hiking up the little slope to the edge of the headlands and taking in that view is unbelievable and more than noteworthy of a photograph. Great stop for tour sits and locals alike.

Great Workout, little kids having fun, people practicing social distancing properly, and the breeze was great. Good place for a lie down except the tennis court end. Popular corner of the park for homeless unfortunately.

Diverse, multi-use fields and facilities make this a well known and well utilized community asset.

Its the best place to play soccer on the west side

Park is really cool for kids

Great place for workout,bbq and family activtities. At night people start bomb fires and smoking weed. Not my thing and to have family around. Pool is nice too. Recreational center is good as well.

Great, big park with lots of space and different sports activities

Clean park with a wide array of things to do. Basketball, hockey rink, playground, swimming pool (seasonally), fields, picnic tables & BBQs... a great place to spend an afternoon with kids.

Workout equipment, jogging path, swimming pool, basketball courts, shades park with grills, baseball field, soccer field, massive center with classes available. They even have a hockey rink, somehow. The center is very clean, the equipment is all spaced out nicely with no fear of crowding, and plenty of parking spaces available (four lots in total).Swimming is $4/session, or $3/session if bought in bulk. It also requires everyone to shower with soap before entering the pool area, so hygiene is excellent. Life guards always on duty.Truly a lovely recreation area that has it all. I highly recommend.

Fun place for the family and clean

Another place to take my son. Has a nice playground with lots of sand... may be a bit too much of it. There are all kinds of sport fields including one for hockey to my surprise. Plenty of parking and green space and an outdoor swimming pool as well.

Great for BBQ and Swimming, since there are Spring thru Summer swimming lessons for beginners to Swimmers.There are Tennis courts at the other end of the park, next to the Baseball field and that is rare in L.A.

My fave place to play basket ball and cricket

We mostly come for the soccer league, which is good especially when there is a good coach (parent volunteers mostly, with some park staff coaching). Weve also done basketball- there is both a larger and smaller gym for the older/younger kids. Nice little ballet/dance program run by Carissa. Lovely parent and me class run by Teacher Judy for the pre-school set. Adequate play structures/sand box/swings and nice soccer field. Pool unheated and open only during the summer. Large baseball field, jogging track and exercise stations around perimeter. Roller hockey rink w/ classes for kids and league play. Staff in office are approachable, often helpful (hit/miss). Mostly clean, as far as LA Parks go. There are a couple of homeless people that seem harmless. More concerning is the group of men who like to hang out and drink and play loud music in the parking lot and nearby BBQ grills. Parking fills up on weekends, but street parking is unrestricted in the area.

This park is a quaint little park that packs a powerful punch. Its great for kids; its great for adults (especially with kids). There is a gymnasium. There is the best kids playground, one of the best that any typical recreation center has that Ive ever been to. Because of this, the park was packed even during a weekday at 1:00 p.m. The kids were having a blast. The adult athletes were working out hard with plenty enough room to run and jog. There are public facilities when that time is required. And as I said before, the place was packed with both kids and adults in the middle of a weekday, which was a surprise to me. The park is located in a very safe neighborhood as to promote this type of activities. With all that I personally witnessed I would certainly take my kids and family to this park and feel safe, as there are staff members onsite, along with many fathers and mothers to keep an eye on you and your family. Highly recommended to any with exercise goals and family values.

Great soccer field with large playground for kids. Also it has 3 baseball fields & skating rink for hockey. Dog friendly and plenty of picnic tables. My son loves soccer but is limited due to NO LIGHTING once it gets dark. THANKS NEIGHBORS..Soccer field is artificial turf.

Great neighborhood place to sign kids up for basketball teams, or to just go and play ball on the courts. Summertime, they have swim teams and junior lifeguard programs for kids. all very inexpensive. Gets crowded on weekends with lots of activities though.

Great park with lots of stuff to do: pool, basketball courts, baseball fields, playgrounds, cement hockey rink, BBQ grills, etc.Also a great place to hunt for Pokemon. It has 5 PokeStops and a gym.

The park is nice, but I am giving one star to the Mar Vista Summer Camp: dont you ever sign up your kids for camp here! Here all the reasons: they give the kids all sorts of awful candies (really, muffins stuffed with Oreos and gummy bears); they were supposed to offer daily swimming lessons but they were understaffed, so they didnt; the counselors are on the phone and really rude all the time; on top of that, it is really expensive. We have been to different camps in the past four years and never had such a bad experience.

Featuring a charming sandlot where youll sometimes find Markoe Ball, an adult softball league thats been playing every Saturday around LA for more than 40 years.

Nice safe park. They finally are getting around to cleaning it up. Coming here for years-. Nice neighborhood, pleasant area in the morning and at dusk. One of my more favorite parks because of its location to stores and shops, etc.

Loved this park! Lots of room for picnics, bbqs, and celebrations. Decent size pool, and a nice playground area for the kids to let out some energy.

Exercise place nice and safe.

Great place well maintained and very safe. Theres a lot to do here when hanging out with friends. The area is safe for long walks. Yoga, stretches and cardio. Its a fitting place for everyone. I bring my dog here all the time. And I appreciate the people that also visit here.

I play basketball here outdoors. lighting is good at night. lights turn off at 11 pm.

Always bustling with activity. Nice playground. The only downside is the constant presence of a homeless camp on one area of the park.

A safe place to have fun!

A great facility in decent shape. Parking can be a bit difficult. We were able to have a series of cricket matches there.

Great location and facilities. The only comment I have is arrive early for parking. There were soccer and baseball games at the same time plus a family party. Parking was slim.

Nice park down the street from Titos Tacos. Small parking lot. Courts and fields for all manner of sports. Some kind of community center. Benches with shade to sit at and eat your tacos.

Fun park that has something for everyone to do. baseball diamonds, hockey rink, sand box, basketball court, playground, and soccer field, as well as exercise machines spread around the perimeter of the park.watch for the dog owners that feel like its their right to allow their dogs off leash and run around while you keep your dog leashed and try to mind your own business

Not happy with all dogs not on leash. Can be a hazard, though the dog owners wont think so. Fin poop from loose dogs. There needs to be some crackdown on dogs off leash.

Huge park! Play tennis, baseball, soccer or run the park and workout on the equipment along the way. Very nice park with two parking lots and plenty of street parking They are restrooms here as well.

Very crowded despite -a good kids play area,Swimming Pool (operational only in the summers),Hockey rink,Soccer Field,6 Tennis courts,2 Baseball fields,3 Basketball Courts.Good kids recreation classes. Havent tried these but heard there are many programs.Homeless population increases after sunset.

The park was fairly clean and very crowded, clearly a favorite in the neighborhood.

Pool is great, price is good 4 me, but cold water showers (?) You got to be kidding!!!Ill go to Culver City Pool and pay a little more!(UNBELIEVABLE THAT THE POOL AT MAR VISTA DOES NOT HAVE ANY HOT WATER, YET THE POOL IS HEATED!!!???!!!)

Its a very nice park. Lot of trees make this park a perfect place to refresh during the hot summer. My children love to come to the pool and join the playground.

One of my favorite parks. One of the best soccer fields in the area. There is also a hockey ring.

Good pickup basketball nightly. Turf Soccer field and large grass field. Love that there is some light at night to keep playing.

Had a mini picnic here only problem is some people were drinking in the park and getting loud other than that it was okay

For the family or the gym rat trying to avoid monthly fees, they have what you need. They have fields/courts for Baseball, kritckit, football, Soccer, Roller Hockey, Swimming, Tennis, Ultimate Frezebe. Pull up bars and many other stations in a long running course of exercise for a circuit workout. Interested in BBQ and relaxing with your family? Many trees for great shade and open spaces for large family reunions. Very close to both the 405 and the 10, near Santa Monica and Culver City.

Nice place for kids and adults. Not crowded. Can enjoy free time with kids.
