It is good place to walk and practice some sports but is sad to see this park is being deterioreted.

They have new lights and they turn on at night. This park is mostly street but I love it

My son had a blast here. Not only is it a beautiful place to walk around with all the beautiful trees, flowers, etc but there is a huge childrens park and a carousel that is only $1 for the little ones. There was so much more that we couldve done (botanical gardens, museum, aquarium) but it was a nice day to just be outside.

Pretty big skate park. Mostly flat. Perfect for street skating or roller skating. They have another flat section thats perfect for jam skating

Great place to walk with a beautiful view of DTLA, Dodger Stadium, El Sereno, Alhambra, San Gabriel Mountains, and (on a clear day) the Hollywood Sign.

It was good cause there wasnt people smoking and drinking in front of the kids ,like anothers parks

Amazing skateboard park!!! Ive been skating on and off for 25yrs and this park absolutely killed it, a park for all skill levels, I cant say enough great things about this park. Ill be back a lot

Its a safer recreational center for my grandsons to play.

My children had played there since the age of 5yrs.. My grandchildren also had the chance to play sports there. Now we get to enjoy our friends children play sports I was born abd raised In El Sereno.. When we were little we enjoyed the swimming pool

One of the most beautiful parks Ive ever enjoyed in my life. It connects to the hill tops behind it (ascot hills) which has various trails. Everything is well maintained. They are currently working on renovating picnic areas and Im sure the main recreation building is coming soon.

The indoor swimming pool is great. The young staff of life guards, coaches and instructors all work well with kids!

One of my favorite pools to swim.. Great staff and clean facilities. Great lap . After a nice swim you can have a quick session at the skate park or play a)game of ball or even go for a run up in ascot hills. What ever you like, ots pretty much here!!........

Pretty cool because its right next to the basketball court I ball up while sum homies skate. Every sport arena are caged areas. Weird but I get it.. Gates

Great place to swim. Only prob is no early morning action so u gotta wait till 1230 to go swim. Other wise great

It has a skate park, pool, and a huge 3 diamond field.

I came here 4 an N/A meeting and i seen kids playing having a good time.. So yeah, i guess it must be a good place 4 family and friends.. It was my first time here

Great place for sports..coaches are dedicated to our kids.This park is full of activities,and most important safe park to bring your kids! Highly recommend it.

Its a great peaceful place mainly to see baseball or soft ball games yes theres restrooms yes theres water and a lot of benches to sit of course in the shade it also has a playground for your kids and to BBQ as well.

For me son junior come here to skateboard whit friend Jesse and me every people its nice and friendly in this park

My family and I spend a lot of time here. Great sports programs for boys and girls.

Park is big, has everything you need to enjoy your time off or play outdoor sports.

A good place to swim and get out of the sun at the same time. The indoor pool has easy access stairs and is handicap accessible. There are sport activities like baseball basketball and a skate park. Adequate Playgrounds for the little ones.

The new skatepark is really fun. Always a big crowd there.

Lap swimming is easy--not crowded. Just like any other public pool, the locker room isnt fancy. No lockers--you hand your bag to an attendant and she gives you a pin. Friendly front desk.

The best place

I go here for Richard Alatorre pool. Havent gone to the other parts of the center but based on the pool, I cant complain. Adult swim lap hours during the day (12:30-2:30) are relatively low key, except for during summers when it can get crowded. Buying a lap pass can save you money.

NY pizza good

Pool was 80 degrees warm. Lighting and ventilation comfortable as well. Friendly staff.

I love all the activities they have provided the kids for this summers SNL. I can take all my kids and each one will find an activity they enjoy. They can choose from playing at the playground, art n crafts, skate park, guitar lessons and also join different sports teams. Great fun for the whole family. Keeps the neighborhood in good spirits thru the summer.

The water was clean before Summer. Always when the pool opens on summer program they have to add to much chlorine. The manager needs to change pool water after Summer program. Thank you.

Too many bums and you have to watch everything you have.

They have the friendliest staff. There is outdoor court as well as indoor. There is a large childrens play area as well. A unique feature for this recreation center is the skate park and swimming pools that are ajacent to gym.

I love this place i grew up in Sereno Im not going to lie the jukies killed it.. the need to clean up that building make it to be domething usefull like they had before. If i recal it was a ballerina place for the kids. The hike and view is awesome..
