This was such a perfect place to catch up with friends! The wine and the meat board was delic Happy hour was definitely worth it and I would definitely go back if I visit LA again!

If you’ve been looking for an upscale and classy place to dance the night away, this is it! DJ Snail was there playing lots of hip hop and older pop. It was amazing! The lights are really cool on the dance floor. Drinks are expensive and strong, but nothing special.The view is gorgeous and the dance floor is large. It’s an open concept, so you don’t have to deal with the maze of roped off bottle service tables. It also has a balcony area where you can get some fresh air and cool off from dancing.We used to go to boulevard3 before it (fingers crossed) temporarily closed. This place is a good substitute! Doesn’t have the same ‘wow’ factor or exceptional customer service, but it’s still upscale. Some of the bouncers were a bit rude to people, giving them trouble for not being in line before 10:30 pm to get in free or sitting on a random bench (they sell seats, so you just can’t sit if you don’t have bottle service). So that’s why four stars instead of five, because boulevard3 has awesome customer service and amazing drinks. And places to sit if you don’t have bottle service. We will go back if boulevard3 doesn’t open again.

Entrance could be easy to miss but youll see the bouncer outside the door and once you enter the building, you go up a staircase to the barSuper chill vibe inside with cool projectors playing black+white cartoon clips. The space is pretty large with bar seating, high top tables and couches. It was surprising that it was pretty quiet in here on a Saturday night but Im fine with that - faster service and couches open.Drinks were good but inconsistent

When I want to dance, I come to Bootie. I usually spend the majority of my night upstairs in the house/elector area.Love the music, people, and yes, FREE honey roasted peanuts!In the Yelp survey questions, they need to add a hell yea under the Good for dancing question.

Love this place they have the best stuff here for our out door needs.and i love there satisfaction guarantee. i purchase a tent took it out and use it a few times ( half year) latter a new model came out. i return the old one and got the new one just have to paid the difference.

While trying to look for non-valet parking tips on this yelp page, I noticed there are a ton of negative reviews for the staff. I just wanna say - I have had a VERY positive experience with all the staff that work their Afternoon Delight shows. Ive been here 2x so far this season for Le Youth and Autograf and everyone at the door is super friendly. We were able to get in quickly. The security guard was really nice and let me pop out to buy sunscreen from the gift shop and let me right back in. Some of the bar tenders are kind of slow but theres one really really friendly black guy (I keep forgetting to ask his name) that usually works one of the lower deck bars - always get drinks from him!! Hes much quicker and an absolute pleasure to chat with.

First off we got the absolute best service from our server Kirby. Super attentive and best recommendations. The food was delicious, we came to Sunday brunch and had a pitcher of sangria and steak chilaquiles..SO GOOD! Definitely coming back thanks to Kirby.

The place deserves its 4 stars: not too crowded, awesome happy hour prices ($5 per bubbly glass until 8pm) and extremely friendly service. Came here on a regular weeknight. Walked in and was greated and seated right away by the bartender. Dual role? place is cool, super low vibe, i feel like it should be 100 degrees and I should be wearing a tank top and sandals smoking cigarettes with a machete on the table. Anyways the waiter was adorable, she was incredibly friendly.

Good ambiance, bartenders and staff were helpful and nice. i attended an event for happy hour and the food was good, everything ran smoothly, and everyone was having a good time. ive always been a fan of the black and white movies projected on the wall: its always a good distraction when things are getting slow/awkward.

Ordered the Dibi with lamb , it was delicious . The onion sauce tasted really good however when combined with lamb meat , I couldnt taste any flavor of the lambmeat . 3.5 for me

This place is just ok. Went with a group of 16. Our food order was all over the place. Some came out early, some late, some not at all. The music was good. There was only one burlesque show and was told there would be 4. They sing happy birthday to everyone there but theres no smooth transition from one birthday to the other. Its like a slap in the face when theyre done singing to you and say- wheres my next birthday at? Like dude, relax, you havent even left the table yet and youre already hollering trying to find the next on your list. Definitely overpriced and the menu selection is like cheap bar finger food. It was just ok. And I was really excited its for this place... sad...

I could not have asked for a better night. Was able to get a last minute reservation to celebrate two birthdays cinco de Mayo weekend. Not only were they able to get me prime seats but they were 100% responsive and so so helpful. I was able to go early and decorate and having a place that has food drinks and dancing seriously never happens it was so fun and so convenient!! The singers dancers and the candles for the birthday made yesterday a night well never forget. I just wish I had taken more pictures!! Book your event here you wont regret it!! Crafted cocktails with awesome views and laid back ambiance. Ive been here weekends and weekdays and cant complain theres usually plenty of seats to have a cocktail and catch up. I havent tried the food but the menu sounds appetizing.

Love the vibe! Skybar on the rooftop of the Mondrian hotel has glamor all around. From the open view to the lounge and bar. Have a cocktail and network with the great crowd, because there is always someone interesting to converse with.

This place is always busy and always bumpin. Cant say I have ever had a bad experience at Skybar in all the times that I have been there for pool parties, private events, fashion shows, birthdays, and screenings. I have come to understand that this venue can literally cater to any type of event and always has the best-looking staff that is at your beck and call.

Nice spot. The ambiance is very good. DJ is decent, drinks are good. Bottle service is nice especially for a birthday party. Dont like the fact that the guest list line is the only line. Took like an hour to get in, since everyone was on the guest list.

This is one of the best clubs I have been attending in CA for a few years now. I dont remember how this affair started- but it hasnt ended. That says something, right? I enjoy going on Friday nights. They have 3 rooms. The room you enter is not te ally for dancing; its more for pictures, chillin, waiting around, or getting a drink. The second room is the Latin room on Fridays. I love the music here! Definitely hits all the spots for a true reggaeton lover :). The bigger room is all hip hop and they will occasionally throw in a Latin song. The crowd is good, its us young people in our 20s!! Im in my mid 20s, sadly To say. But yeah definitely a lot of diversity in this club and drinks are a little pricey so pre game before.

What was it that I did instead of going to Bootie with friends back in wintertime? I dont remember. But after last Fridays party, Im absolutely positive it was the wrong decision. This was as fun as everyone else is saying it was: the crowd was into it and EVERY song was fabulous: hip hop, top 40, 60s girl band, classic rock, hair bands, there is literally no genre left untouched (even the nod to classical with the Beethoven/Kanye West mashiup). Bootie itself is a mash-up: a live concert, regular and guest DJs, drag and/or burlesque-ish performers, and an intriguing, if somewhat skewed, sample of Bay Area personalities.

I recently hosted a private event at Elevate Lounge and everything went off without a problem. Taylor was a pleasure to work with and her professionalism and knowledge of their space made coordinating and planning as easy as possible. She even was available and willing to help accommodate last minute requests which I hate making as a coordinator but she helped as best she could all with a great attitude. The views were stunning, the drinks were excellent and the staff was wonderful as well. If you need a chic, fun spot for your events this should be on your list.

This place is chill. Not a stuck up club. Didnt hold us in line for no reason. Nice views. They put on a great show for my friends birthday party.The DJ played good music, but he kept cutting songs way short and didnt have a real flow to the music.Ladies were classy and gorgeous, guys were laid back, staff was professional and friendly.

Fun place , gorgeous views , excellent atmosphere, sushi restaurant available, we waited only 15 minutes on a Saturday after Valentines day and walked to the club to have fun .

This penthouse lounge is elegantly designed and very open. 2 bars and a dance floor. Seating is along the windows which has a beautiful view of the surrounding high rise buildings. Great place to bring dates/friends/co-workers and have events. Cant wait to go again.

This place is really nice. I loved the view definitely a place for couples or groups. The surkus app had this place and we all got free entry and a free glass of wine. If your in the area I would recommend you stop by. The customer service is great. Everyone is very friendly and has a positive attitude. If you sit in the lounge you can see the city and beautiful lights through the glass windows. The dj is awesome stop by!

According to Foursquare The Alchemist Bar has been open since September. I stopped here with some friends on NYE since they werent charging a cover and I like Local Edition which is what many have compared it to in reviews.

Food is great but really pricey! You cant beat the view though! If there are seats at the bar DO IT! Arcie is always so happy and fun and the cocktails are amazing!

I celebrated my birthday there last year and had an amazing time, so I’m thinking of going back to celebrate my birthday again this year.

Really cool spot to have brunch and definitely coming back for dinner. I came with my sister and we sat inside. There is a nice outdoor vibey area if you sat outside. It was pretty windy when we came, but on my next visit Ill sit outside. We had Jaz as our waitress and shes very friendly, sincere, and knows much about the menu. We got the beet tacos with cheese for appetizers and I got the lamb tostada. The lamb was cooked perfectly and everything that was included in this dish was balanced and delicious. I know it came with cheese, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, beans, and a fried egg sunny side up. Also had fresh cut fries on the side which was a great compliment to my dish. I eat an alright amount and I would say I could have shared it with another person so I dont feel overly stuffed.

Pretty cool place to go to. In the heart of dtla. We attended a Sunday deephouse brunch that they hold twice of month. Music was bumping and the liquor was flowing. Service was pretty good. They have a lot of different functions going on different nights of the week. Check there website for the monthly calendar of events.

I thought their table and bottled service was well priced. The barbacks (?) constantly came around to ensure we had new cups, fresh mixers, and water. Good mix of music with a good mixed croud. Security was professional ans frienldy. Bathrooms were kept clean by the attendant (bring her tipping money, she deserves it). Yes, they escorted people out of they were notable intoxicated and they expect people to adhere to a dress code. Thisnwas not an issue for my part, we still had an amazing time.

This club is not it! I went on a Saturday with a friend & the music selection was WACK we couldnt even sit down because the couches are only for people who paid for bottle service. Why call this a lounge if you have to pay to sit down? The only positive thing about this club is the beautiful venue other then that, I will never come back here. If you like to party dont come here. Thank God I got in free because this place is not worth the 20$ at all.

Called to ask if black high end designer tee was okay to wear and they said yes. Got to the table line and they said we are not coming in. We had a table and were going to speak $3000+ absolutely disgusting behaviour from the guys downstairs who have a big attitude problem. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Had a great holiday party on Sunday with free admissions, 3 bars , large dance floor , and panoramic view of the city.

Fun club. If you have a group of 6 or more, get bottle service. The cover is $20 and after buying 2-3 drinks it makes more sense. The Dj was pretty good. Our VIP area was far from the dance floor. Other than that no complaints.

Had a great time celebrating my 30th birthday @ Elevate Lounge. Bottle service were attentive with a great uplifting attitude. Only downside to this lounge were the bouncers, if one of us in the group would giggle they abruptly shut us off very rudely. These rent-a-cops need to stop playing CIA and be more civil to the people who only want to have a good time.

Best lounge/club in la. Its upscale, clean, vibrant, and just the perfect place to be on a friday or Saturday night. The atmosphere is amazing plus the rooftop escape gives you one of the best views of la while partying and having a good time. If i could i would give this place 10 stars.

Terrible bouncers, so rude. Saturday night. I can’t believe people like that represent our city. It felt like discrimination. I will never come back to this place again. There are so many other better places to go in LA. They didn’t know who I was, but they will. And will regret treating me and my girls that way. I never leave reviews and specially negative ones but wow the males and female bouncers were so classless I feel sorry for them that we just left. Never again. You will loose clientele if ppl like that at the front pretend like they are the boss and won’t let ppl like us go in, we make their club look good. Never again. Better clubs out there. Don’t waste your time, energy and money on this club.

ALERT! ALERT!! Be careful with the security guards they are very unprofessional and disrespectful. We had bottle service spent about +$800 on two bottle and still got more drinks. We went to have a good time with friends and the experience I had with the security guards made me not go back ever again. They dont now how to control a situation, they make it worse and caused more problems. Just because they are security they should make people feel safe not unsafe. Intimate atmosphere. I was at Elevate for a birthday party. The layout of the lounge provided space to dance, but it didnt hamper having a conversation. The view of DTLA from the indoor/ outdoor bar area is pretty good too.

Elevate is alright. Friday and Saturday night, music is hip hop mixed with Latin house. The hip hop played are mostly hits, nothing too ratchet, very danceable. Drinks are a bit pricey, got charged $24 for a double of Jameson & ginger. The 3 stars are for the expensive drinks and the obnoxious dress code which is strictly enforced. Dress shoes and collars for men, no flip flops for women. Security and the staff are not totally hateful, just the dress is over done, in my opinion. I got turned away 1 night for an outfit without a collar or dress shoes but I looked better than some patrons who were dress code friendly.

I was looking forward to coming here. But their service was not that great. The guy who run the elevator should be nicer. And the bartender needs to be more friendly. Everyone seemed a little on the edge. Saturday nit. Nice place if you just want to sit and enjoy a relax nit wit a date or a group of friends. But not for dancing. We were tourists visiting USA and LA in our 40s.. researched online and put ourselves on guest list.. got to the front and bouncer wanted IDs .. I had a physical iD but wife had scanned copy of Passport on her phone .. bouncer refused us entry .. tried to reason with him but basically told us to get lost .. really rude and no consideration for customer service .. foreigners please avoid this club .. horrible experience in an otherwise great holiday across an amazing country!

This place is definitely a great time . It has a little house music a little hip hop and the people are really friendly . This is a mixed crowd but everyone is down to dance. You can also get some great photos here . Amazing view.

We went for a birthday party in the private area in the back and it was amazing! The music, seating, and drinks were on point. The only recommendation I have is for there to be more womens restrooms. My girl had to wait 30 minutes to use the restroom because the line was so long. The guys do not have that same issue though.

They need to have a better dress code for women because some girls were in there with jeans, ripped shorts bras, boots it was disaster. Their policy states that any drunk person will be escorted out but in the women restroom they were 4 girls throwing up and only one restroom was available. I waited 15 minutes to go so that made me stop drinking because i was going spent the entire time waiting on these girls to finished puking!! Gross! I saw the guys well dress and well behave. I had my standards high but literally they need more security kicking people out if they dont know how to dress and how to behave. The DJ was excellent and drinks were affordable.I paid for the view but nothing else was worth it.

Cover is $20. The bouncers failed to notice and kick out a a very aggressive creep, who harassed young women the whole night. Guys started trying to fight in the bathroom, putting my safety at risk, but the attendant stepped to cool the guys off. Would probably not go a second time.

Honestly, this place has a nice view but the staff from the bouncers to the bartenders and waiters have a horrible attitude. Their dress code changes all the time. They are supper expensive ( understandable for DTLA) but attitude, not really that understandable. Standard hotel rooftop is 0.1 mile away, just got there. U WILL HAVE A BETTER TIME!
