Good food, good value, and friendly service. BUT to-go orders are never correct! Twice now Ive ordered the spicy green sauce chicken that is supposed to come with guacamole and served on a bed of veggies. It came with neither, which was disappointing.

Great bar! Great ambience! Great crowd! I spent New Years 2015 and 2016 here. During the week its a great place to come on a date. Its dark and not so loud so you can have a conversation. On the weekends its great to come with a group of friends. Plenty of seats and drinks are good!

This was a nice speak easy place we just so happened found by another place we were leaving. We went in and got some drinks and it was a neat set up. They played a movie and had popcorn. The drinks were good here and the bartender/server was nice and courteous. The ambiance was nice as well. It was dim and cozy as well as comfortable and romantic or sexy. It was intimate. I will definitely come back and visit here again.

Fun chill speakeasy bar. Empty but nice on a Monday night. One used up pool table in the back is fun to play around with for free. Lots of booth or sectioned seating. Great for a date night.

Adults only was a fun spot to come for a date night. Theres a nice size bar, tables and a pool table in the back. If you enjoy dancing there is a DJ and they do play music but theres not much room to dance.When I went the transitions were pretty bad and the songs werent typical songs that you would dance to in a club so just keep that in mind. I would definitely come back though. Had a great time.

Cool bar. Hard to find. Almost reminded me of a speak easy. It was a blast and loved the decor and how they played a silent movie while they also had a dance floor. Unique.

They told us 5 more minutes didnt get in til 1:15. They let the one girl in our group go (shes waiting) but my friend and I are still waiting outside. Its not packed inside AT ALL. WORST PLACE TO GO TO. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. Maybe next time will be better, but for now

We went a little too early to fully get the vibe of the place, however, what we did experience was really great! We love the speakeasy feel and the overall uniqueness of the bar. It’s a must see if in the Hollywood area! The drinks were a little pricey but about the norm for this area.... on the bright side they were strong and delicious! Highly recommend!

New Year’s Eve party was supposed to open at 9 - it is now 10 and we are still waiting in line. We paid a fixed amount to enter the party at 9. Not an acceptable way to treat your customers. Do not buy a ticket for an open bar event here - it is a scam

This bar feels like La if a place ever felt like La. Its an adult bar so if sex, liquor or any other adult things bother you then you are in the wrong place. Everyone that was there loved the place and the bar was great. Good drink special also when we arrived.

Place is nice but it was so DIFFICULT to see.. literally they provided few candles and I bumped into people. I felt so blind. The entrance is pretty much IG material. Place is in a secret corner or some sort. Drinks were okay, long line as expected on a Saturday night but most likely I would not come back.

The space is very cool. The seating, bar, billiards, and film projector make for a really great atmosphere. The prices are pretty reasonable, too, especially at happy hour.The drinks are OK. I tried one of their original cocktails, Clueless (their cocktails are named after cult classic movies--fun!). The flavors didnt work too well together.The DJ was a bit loud when he came on at 10. Kinda killed the mood for me. Others may like that kind of thing more than me, though.I still recommend going. Its an overall fun experience!

The music was good and trendy, I loved the decor (90s, opulent theater, old Hollywood vibe) along with their pool table. Its quite an airy space as well. The service was a bit below my expectations and one drink I got really wasnt what I expected, but they made up for it the Negroni they made! They also serve free popcorn!

Stood in line for 30 mins it didnt budge but the door guy kept letting people in who just got there. Atleast 20 people passed the line. So unless you know someone youre not getting in on a Saturday after midnight. Really sucks because I wanted to experience the bar while I was in town.

I recently discovered this local bar. I have to give my lyft driver a special thank you for recommending I check it out. I believe the happy hour is from 7pm - 10pm and they have 3 different drinks for $5. If you hang out in Hollywood you are never going to find $5 drinks, not watered down. These were the same quality as if they were not on any happy hour deal which I appreciated. Around 10ish, the DJ came. Music was a mixture of top forties, with a solid rotation of hip hop and R&B primarily.The entrance is pretty cool, filled with instgramable moments. Take a few moments to find some of the classic VHS from your childhood. Solid place for a date or a group of friends. By far one of the best high scale dive bars Ive been too and highly recommend if you want a cool night out in Hollywood with out having to be Hollywood.

Standing here after 7:15 and it’s locked. Supposed to open at 7. Their phone number is not a real phone number. Doesn’t seem very professional. There’s 4 people standing here waiting too as we watch Wild Wild West play on a tiny TV through the front door glass. Not a strip joint, which is good. Nice ambience and I went with a group that was not charged a cover, which is why the drinks are expensive. Neat place, and there are seats around the pool table that are a decent place for a small group of people to talk away from the music and in a lit area.

Okay, I seriously love this place. It has such a fun unique theme, which is a great change of pace considering there are thousands of generic bars in Los Angeles. This was Stop #2 on my speakeasy/bar-hopping trip with my boyfriend. Its a hole-in-the-wall spot in a random strip mall. You enter through a VHS video store thats playing really cheesy nineties porn films. It definitely sparks conversation and laughs. Once you enter it feels almost like a bar version of a drive in theater, with a projector playing random indies and comfy couches that reminded me of spacious backseats. We had well priced drinks here, watched some of the flick playing, and talked about all the fun decorations around us. It was one of my favorites on our trip. Highly recommend especially for groups coming from out of town, gives you something to talk about.

DONT buy the fast pass ticket for any events at this venue. They don’t honor the express nature of the premium ticket price and instead mix all ticket class together. It is a scam for consumers and not an ethical practice of the entertainment business

Got groped at least 4 times, followed, harassed, and cornered out of sight from the bouncer while at this bar for like one hour. Full of creeps who don’t respect women. If anywhere you go lets people like that in, you never go there again. Clearly, those men felt like they were in a safe place to be doing those awful things. Avoid if you’re a woman and you don’t want to be worried someone’s going to attack you all night.

Great atmosphere. I like the pool room. Great cocktails a little more creative. Don’t expect much action before 10. Even though happy hour is 7-10. The low rating comes from service. I came here especially for a holiday pumpkin cocktail that was advertised on fb as available “all weekend”. However when i arrived during happy hour on a Saturday the bartender had no idea what I was talking about. We found out the owner wouldn’t have pumpkins till 10 or later. When I asked if he could just make the cocktail not in a pumpkin as advertised he asked me if I knew what was in it.Cool idea to serve a cocktail in a pumpkin with dry ice, but don’t tease me ant then give me attitude when I asked about what you advertised.

This is a fun spot to end your night at. The crowd is pretty energetic and usually there is dancing in front of the bar. They play funky old movies on a projector up top. The decor is all kinda strange but lots of fun. There is a back room with a pool table, but if you dont come early people will probably be hanging around making it hard to play. The drinks are strong but not cheap.

The old woman on the door said the minimum drink cost to enter is $60, so, of course, we declined. There was three of us in our party. Seeing there was nobody else in the line she told us looks, just promise ONE drink per person, which we did. The overweight security guard put my wifes ID and credit card in an envelope, then took us to the bar, handed over said envelope to the bartebder, and left. We ordered three drinks and were told its $60 minimum. We said, this is wrong, and to get our cards back had to hand over a $36 tip on a $24 bill. A tip of over 100%!In short, the elderly lady on the door lied to us, and we got duped. Do not listen to her lies.Anyway, the entrance is cool, but the bar is crowded and filled with real LA kids. You know the kind I mean.

The idea is cool. When you get inside the actual bar you can tell that the place was probably a hookah bar or Persian event center. The décor is very hookah bar. The bartenders served stiff drinks and the happy hour was very fair. They have too many reserved tables, though. Like half of the bar is reserved tables. Theres barely anywhere to hangout. Like Im going to get bottle service at this place. They should throw out the pool tables. Pool tables are a good way to take up a ton of space and satisfy 2 people at a time.

Like the other reviews say, the music is way too loud and really ruins it. Nobody could hear and by the end of the night you wont have a voice and your ears will be ringing. Buddy asked them if they could turn it down and they said theyll be turning it up. Skip this place.

Hip new bar in a burger King parking lot. You walk through an entrance designed to look like a video store and as you walk to the back where the adult videos would be, the space opens up into a large area with a plethora of whiskeys, vodkas, and other libations. Music was eclectic, ranging from 90s hip hop, to edm, to 80s pop.

Honestly a hidden gem. Always plays good music.

Besides its amazing video store entrance that winds down to the porn section of the store and ending up in a Catholic/Christian chapel where the lounge is located. Its pretty much a run of the mill Hollywood club with over priced drinks.

Cool movie themed bar that you enter through a faux adult video store. Bills itself as an upscale dive, but more upscale than divey with the type dim lighting and ornate furnishings that conjour up an old-time Hollywood glam feel. As one caution, this place has a sexy feel to it that makes it good for a night out with friends or your significant other, but probably not ideal for a first date or drinks with co-workers (unless, of course, thats the vibe you are looking to create).

Try to not react to the vintage XXX porn playing on the vintage 12 inch tv as you walk in. Bar is nice, shot a round of pool.
