And excellent you are. The best dancing party, hands down. Every single time i have a blast. The band, Smash Up Derby is fantastic. People are cheerful and friendly. A must!

Divey throwback club with lots of 80s music, mood lighting and spacious ambience. Not too many places to sit but plenty to learn. There is a bar area right at the main entrance and another upstairs they open later in the evening. Its a 10 minimum for card and youd have to close out down stairs to move your tab upstairs or vice versa. Drinks at great though small and served in disposable plastic cups. Bathrooms are nice a enough and the music is fire. Not sure if there is always a cover but definitely for holiday weekends for sure.

Got in here on a Saturday night right before they were going to close, was able to have one more drink and we enjoyed the 30 minutes we stayed until they closed! Will definitely come back and have a couple drinks when back in San Fran! Loved it here!

Went to a mash-up derby event for my friends birthday here over the weekend. Anyone who knows me knows I hate clubbing. Its (typically) sweaty, loud, and crowded - just not my thing. Despite having drinks spilled all over my sandals because our group was standing right in the line of fire near the bar, the experience was actually pretty decent. There was a live band, an interesting mix of music, it wasnt grossly hot or crowded, the club goers were a diverse group, and its easily accessible by car and bus. I got a laugh when I realized the stamp on my wrist read lesbian money.

Attended a David Bowie themed event on Friday. Charges three dollars for bottled water, 14 for a long island ice tea. I think thats about usual cocktail price, but this is the first club Ive been to that didnt have tap water so...The vibe was good, the event makeup artist (@artbymiho on Instagram) was excellent, the music both upstairs and downstairs seemed to avoid playing more well known hits but the volume levels and bpm were much better than other events Ive been to lately. Loud enough to lose oneself in, but not so loud that conversation is impossible, nor enough to cause pain/damage. Thank heavens.Its also a little embarrassing to misspell the name of your talent on your event flyers, but hey, accidents happen, right?

It was a very small venue, even the back that is connected. I was told you could dance here, and I guess you can dance anywhere, if you try hard enough.. But in the back venue (where the dancing happens) there was no space! And there were hardly any people there! Theres a huge fountain in the middle that just takes up place, but I guess it gives it a look?

I had an amazing night at Barbarossa Lounge NYE, and lost my wallet. Barry the door guy found it, and mailed it back to me! If thats not amazing service than I dont know what is! Thanks so much to the lounge for a fun night, and to Barry for being so amazing and mailing my wallet and id back to me.

I came here for a David Bowie themed night of revelry and while that event was fun, the relatively small space of this venue left me wanting, unfortunately. I understand this is no nightclub but even with two floors, the space in which to dance was a bit cramped, and the restrooms were sparse, single use only. As well, it wasnt exactly accessible, as, unless I am mistaken, the only way to the second floor is a tall staircase.

One of the greatest bartender Iv had I spend my New Years here with my girl friend we ordered old fashions let me tell you they were well made well pored they were perfect I only regret one thing and that was not getting the bartenders name so if you read this I was the dude that had his mustache curled and wearing a bow tie

Its a cozy small club but the sound is awesome. They need better bartenders though!!

It was pretty cool. Was there for Goth Night. The staff was pretty friendly and I loved the atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Friday nights are Club Underground: Brit Pop, Indie, New Wave. Good music, nice staff. But it is a bit warm inside at times.

Cool, unpretentious place in sweet Chinatown courtyard. Love the vibe but what’s with the plastic cups? I happened to be passing by and got lured in by all the real people sitting outside. No plastic LA barbies, a refreshing lack of hipsters, where am I?

Went to Requiem dark alternative club night here and had a great time, even offered drink specials up to a certain time before 11pm. DJs rocked!

Ambiance is grrrreeatt nice and dark with great music and the cocktails are Perfection. Its hidden. On a weekday its never too packed. The bartenders are personable. Not too much seating at the bar. Not good for groups.

I love this place. Every first Saturday of the month they have Boom box thats the dopest hip hop DJs. Straight beasts, savages and Legends.

The single best dance club, if you are a real Angeleno, in all of LA. Amazing bartenders. Amazing music. Best time.

One of my staples for getting into the not so common, matured hip hop culture. People come to enjoy drinks without getting wasted & sloppy. Big plus, is that often times real dancers turn up, to clear a space on the dance floor for a friendly battle that test skills of opponents. To lay claim as the dance floor champion.

Mediocre space, music WAY TOO LOUD (and Im a music professional). Felt like a glorified house party.That said, EVERYONE was having a lot of fun and was very friendly and my Bloody Mary was yum. Just dont expect a Zsa Zsa environment and youll do fine.

This is a really neat bar with cool indoor and outdoor spaces as well as tons of old school, retro arcades. It can get pretty busy, but its a great experience with friends and games. Would recommend but I personally found it more enjoyable when it was not as crowded (so early evening or weeknights are probably your best bets).

Saw a cool show in the upstairs venue while it looked like the downstairs was cracking too. Had a ton of fun!

We went for the Mod Night. Who doesnt love dancing the night away to indie rock classics. If youre lucky you might even score some coke in the bathrooms.

Its a pretty solid venue space, with two floors of space. Granted each floor is not the largest by any means, but each accommodate a good amount of people. Havent seen jazz here as much as the namesake says, but still plenty of cool events happening here.

Its so upbeat. The atmosphere is so electric. This is a place where you go and just let loose. Apart from it being a little crowded, this place rocks. Its a hidden gem in Chinatown. The staff at the front door are a bit rude but apart from them, everything else is legit. Love this place.

Its the place to be Friday nights, if your in to 80s indie flashbacks. Love it! Its one of the few places where you can dance to those good old 80s grunge/mod type music, like Morrissey & Depeche Mode. Classic!

Drinks were inexpensive but good. THe music was great, a little sparse in terms of how many people were there though.

I really do love this place! Smack dab in the middle of China town is this kitchy little dive bar. Dim lighting, sticky vinyl stools and a light up dance floor....well kinda. The dance floor is clear and was probably once a really awesome light up, flashing disco dance floor, now it really just has a few strand of christmas lights under it... hey when youre in the mood for some cheap drinks, good tunes (I reccomend Friday nights 80s) and an eclectic vibe- this is your spot!

Drinks are relatively inexpensive and the music is good. Check it out if youre in the area.
