As part of the festivities during the week of our wedding, my husband and I decided to rent out a theater to play a Harry Potter movie. We had met while working at a movie theater and were having a Harry Potter themed wedding, so it was a fun activity for our guests to attend. I was so impressed with Alamo’s willingness and ability to play our requested film, as other theater companies didn’t have the option to do so. Brandy and the staff were really helpful when it came to coordinating our event at the Alamo Drafthouse Littleton location. The food options were pretty great, especially as vegetarians. We came a few days beforehand to do a technical rehearsal, since we wanted to play a special video before the movie started. On the day, there were a few technical issues, but it wasn’t a huge deal. They also offered to play a Harry Potter themed pre-show, which ended up being super weird, so I had them turn it off (I know Alamo Drafthouse is known for being a little more obscure, but it was a bit much for my audience, and not really explained well in advance). We were able to have a custom movie poster displayed, which was one of my favorite parts. The price was decent, but I ended up having less guests than I expected. I would recommend only doing it if you know for sure that you will have enough people, since the per-person and studio fees do add up. Overall, it was a very cool experience!

I’ve been going there for years and I do like this theater. I like the service, they come to the seat to take Your order and deliver it when it’s ready.I wish that they had the full recliners, the ones that have the foot ottoman.Do you have one of my favorite pizzas and it’s the carnivore pizza, I love that.I WOULD go back.

We love Alamo over all other movie theatre chains and really won’t go anywhere else at this point. The only downside is sometimes having people who eat too loudly but that isn’t much of a problem for most movies. If you are seeing a quieter film, pick a time that is less popular or not around a meal time.

We miss this place so much!! Can’t wait until we can go back after COVID! Food and drinks are amazing and everyone is so friendly. Super fun!

Great place to see a movie! Comfy seats, good service right to your seat, love the pop corn. Has beer and cocktails as well. Just saw Monty Python And the Holy Grail with blow up swords & coconut clappers!

I gave this establishment a five star review because they truly deserve that rating.  I had a fantastic experience on my only two visits, thus far, and the staff exhibited amazing customer service.This theatre was nice and clean. The screen quality & sound were also high quality and enhanced the experience. As expected with all Alamo Drafthouse locations, this one boasts great food and full waiter service.I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my family and friends, along with anybody I know coming from out of town and looking for local recommendations.

One of my favorite theaters to catch a movie! The theater is always clean, quiet and respectful. I love that you’re able to order food and drinks before/during the movie and the servers are always very attentive. Not to mention, they have some great options on their menu, I definitely recommend the buffalo cauliflower wings if you’re looking for something to snack on!

We really enjoy the Alamo Drafthouse for a clean environment to watch a movie. The food and drinks are delicious and priced to match most places you go out to eat. Why go to two places when you can get it all in one? The staff is friendly and does a great job of staying out of the way of the movie and still meeting your food and drink needs. The cereal parties are so fun, but the milk runs out quick. We split between the Littleton and Sloans Lake locations but the Alamo is the only place we will watch a movie in the Denver area.

ALWAYS A GREAT TIME! Took my grandbaby girl to see ONWARD and they had this prop!! How fun!! She is so creative her expressions shows the weirdness of just pants walking around!!! And she is holding her Journey map from Alamo to get stickers for free stuff and color! The counter guy was so awesome to talk to us about the booklet prizes she could get by coming in. The food was delicious!! Chicken Taquitos - popcorn - pizza - chicken tender and the sauces they make for all drippings delicious. Making memories at the Alamo!! Fun times!

As a long time fan of Alamo, this one didn’t disappoint. The bar has like an old school cellar vibe, theater is clean all around, awesome comfortable chairs AND the tables have little rungs to hang a jacket or purse from. Super smart. The staff is as awesome and attentive as you come to expect at an Alamo. I really can’t go to other movie theaters anymore

I enjoy being able to watch a movie and have food while Im sitting there. I appreciate having someone wait on me and get my drinks while Im watching the movie. However, its challenging after the first go by to get a waiters attention. They dont let you know when they are going to stop serving from the bar. And the last hour is challenging to get service.Theyre herb parmesan popcorn is delicious and I highly recommend it.

My 1st time going there and it certainly will not be my last. I LOVED it!♡♡ The staff there was so down to earth & professional. The food was literally off the charts delicious! The entire theater was super super clean. I can HIGHLY recommend The Alamo. A++++!!

I really enjoy going here with friends and family. The food is nice and there is very good service. My only problem is how long it takes to get our order. Its better than other theaters and I would recommend to anyone.

Like going to the movies there with my son. To the the people who had a bad food experience here just know the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has become very popular. If you go to opening night movie the food service is going to be slow. Know they are great people doing service the best they can on those days. During regular business flow they have excellent service.

This place has absolutely GREAT food. The concept of eating in a half-lit movie theater made it difficult to eat but it was part of the experience. The queso is AWESOME. The mac and cheese is AWESOME. Would highly recommend. The food is better than the films normally showing.

The films that are presented here are wonderfully diverse (general Hollywood, documentaries, world and art cinema). Prices are standard. Sound and seating are good. The eat at your seat model, as cool of an idea as it is just doesnt flow very smoothly. Weve gone close to a dozen times and, without fail, food is slow to arrive, drinks (alcoholic) even slower. Staff is friendly enough and once received, the food is tasty....but be prepared to wait (knives Out this weekend was 30min in before drinks arrived). If I could give 5 stars independent of the eat as you view model, I would.

Very pleased with this place. We had never been and the staff took great care of us. Its new for me that you can have food and drinks of that caliber in a theater. I was impressed with the adult milkshakes. My new favorite popcorn is the truffle popcorn. Cant wait to go to the theater again!

Great cinema! The trailers beforehand are great and usually hilarious. For star wars they played bad lip readings beforehand and old toy reviews of Star wars toys. The food was very good, although prepare to spend a bit because it is on the more expensive side. But they have a lot of options and you can have them bring you candy and popcorn instead of waiting in line which is great. Highly recommend!

Very nice screen with stunning audio as well, great service the servers were quick and almost unnoticeable. Its a great venue and I will most likely return. This place is pricy but for that price you get a great experience.

I had never been here before today and was quite impressed. The service was great. The seats were comfortable. The sound quality was good. Ill definitely be back.

What an adorable place! The server was very nice and did a good job. Good size theater and comfortable seats. I think the lights under the table is better, but I think it would be more ideal if they were push lights so they didn’t have to be on all the time

Over all a good experience, however we went to an earlier show 445 on a Saturday, and they were out of Iced tea! How is that possible? Also they didnt have the cookies that they offered on their menu, again they said they were out of those as well. I wonder what they thought would happen on a Saturday afternoon in the Winter- that no one would go to the movies? We ordered popcorn at the same time that we ordered our meal and we had to ask twice later on to get it. The server was very nice, Sadly their products were lacking that day.

Tonight we went to Alamo excited to sign up for their movie pass. We showed up 10 minutes before the show start time, however, we were informed that they are not able to sell the pass in the theater and that we needed to buy it through the app. They then told us that the app would not allow us to buy tickets in time for our show.A great opportunity to wow us with excellent customer service was lost. We asked them if they could watch us purchase the pass, let us into the empty theater and come back out to activate the tickets once the app loaded. This was not acceptable and we were turned away.

Normally I love the Alamo Drafthouse, but I took my son to see the latest Star Wars movie last Sunday afternoon and had a terrible experience. I purchased our tickets on Friday night and when we showed up Sunday, there were people sitting in our seats. When I respectfully showed them our seats/tickets on our phone, one lady became very upset and told me that I was wrong and her party had just purchased all of the seats in that row. My son and I stood off to the side until a server finally came over and determined that the seats were in fact mine. We then had to sit next to 2 people from that group that glared at us. We then decided to order some food. After about 20 minutes our server came and told me that the buffalo cauliflower would be another 30 minutes, would I like to order something else? I did instead order a baked pretzel and cookie trio. My son’s kids pizza took about a half an hour to come out and my food never did. The server came by waving a card that read, “is anything missing “, or something like that. I told him that the rest of the food had never come out. He apologized. The food finally did come out about 15-20 minutes before the movie was over. The server did comp my pretzel. It was just a very disappointing experience.

Love the theater, but was bummed that their popcorn machine had been broken for a week. Movie without popcorn was sad. I ordered chicken strips instead, they were perfectly cooked, still juicy and delicious. They were huge. So not a terrible trade off.

Modern American food that is a steps above your typical movie theater menu items of popcorn, stale nachos and velveta cheese. Order at your seat with blank scratch paper and a pencil and your server will quietly snatch it to later return with your order. If your gastrointestinal tract is up for dairy, try an adult milkshake. And theyre good about enforcing the no talking, texting, or being inappropriate rule, which makes for a better movie experience.

This place is wonderful. They have bottomless $8 popcorn! - definitely a weakness of mine. Aside from that though, they have awesome service. My boyfriend and I thought we were going to a 9:30 showing of a movie here, but there was a miscommunication when I agreed to buy the tickets and he agreed to drive. I bought Westminster tickets and he thought we were going to Littleton. I didnt even notice that we werent heading the wrong direction because we were having such a blast on the way there. It ended up working out though because the amazing staff fixed our tickets for us and we were able to catch the same movie at this theater. I never expected them to do that and I will forever be grateful that they did. Thanks you guys!!!

Great experience, friendly and honest staff. LOVE the concept of special movies and the gear and fun experience that goes with them. I thought only Rocky Horror Picture show got you involved. These are experience like that and makes an adult a kid again

I love the staff and food is great. I really like the lobby and style. I wish they had reclining seats like the dine in theatre back home had, but its very clean and nice there. Only issue I had during this visit was that I ordered a specific pizza without pepperoni, which is my mistake. It had bacon. I dont eat pork. I feel like they should have assumed or asked. I was more than halfway through when I was certain it was on there. It tasted good, but this just seems kind of common sense.

The Alamo Drafthouse was easy to get to and wasnt crowded. It was nice to grab a drink before the show and take it with us while we sat down and waited for the movie to start. The only issue we had, was some of the mixed drinks were absolutely disgusting, Im not one to send drinks back but it was like they forgot to even add the alcohol. Other than that, the food was great, comfortable seating and a good atmosphere to watch any new release!

Nice place to enjoy a movie and a meal, even really late in the evening. Staff was friendly, the bartender was knowledgeable about the different beers and liquor they had available. Also by far the cleanest movie theater Ive ever been in. I will definitely be going back!

I like the theater... but didnt have a good experience. Its not the best theater for kids. My daughter had the table blocking her view of the screen when sitting in the seat. The booster seats are hard plastic and uncomfortable, she couldnt lean back because the back of the booster would dig into her back. Ended up having to have her sit on my lap the whole movie. Wish the tables were moveable, even if it just moved more to one side. Also had ordered my daughter and I lunch at the same time, about 10 minutes before movie start. My food came out timely, but had to ask about my kids 3 or 4 times, and by the time we received it the movie was almost over and shed filled up on my fries and her candy. No real explanation, no real apology, and no offer of discount on her food.I know itd probably be a different experience without a kid

Horrible experience. We ordered right before the movie started and after an hour and 20 minutes still hadnt gotten our food. Two waiters stopped by and said they would check on our food. I finally got up went to the front to ask about a good. The guy there radioed the manager, who said (over the radio) that our food was in its way out. I then waited another 15 minutes for the food. When it did come it was cold. They did end up comping the food.We wont be going back.

Great seats. Lots of room. I love having a waiter to bring food and drinks. Just remember to order before you are out, since it takes 20 min to get your order.

This place is amazing for the indie films or special event showings. The food is delicious. my only complaint is that the cocktails are not consistent you can order 3 of the same drink and somehow get all 3 very different from one another

Came for Mobi screening and great! The seats are the most plus-size friendly of the 3 Denver Area location. Comfortable with leather theater seats and good size tables!

This place is awesome. If you can get your hands on the monthly pass, do it. Amazing staff, great movie side service. Amazing menu and beer selection. I plan on visiting every week to get the most out of my pass now. Great time place to relax, eat/drink well, and watch a movie.

Fun place to see a movie. Less children, really good food. The only issue weve had is my husband didnt receive his food - at all - on two separate occasions and they didnt even offer to comp his meal.

Watched Halloween here, and it was a lot of fun.The popcorn was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I only wish we couldve had some to take home. :) They had fresh baked cookies that were way way better than grandmas! Or that couldve just been the salt and sweet combo.One negative is how much ice they put in the sodas.Want to go back soon. Will probably try some other fun snack.

My husband and I have been going to movies at the Alamo for years and we have always loved the theater. I like being able to watch a movie and eat real food at a private table. However, recently we have not been thrilled with the food. Most of the menu consists of items that are difficult to eat in the dark and it seems that the prices are going up consistently but the food portions and quality are starting to slide. Still, bottomless popcorn is pretty great and we love the crazy clips and home movies that are played before the previews at every movie. Also, this is the only theater that I know of that regularly has older movies playing on the big screen.

Imagine a movie theater where every ticket come with a bar of gold and a massage. Now imagine you have an entire theater to yourself as you enjoy movies that have been sent from the future along with new breeds of puppies youve never seen before, Pugs mixed with St. Benards, Golden Retrievers mixed with Owls?! Whats that, laws dont apply to you once your inside? Thats right Alamos are considered international waters so if you were to kill and eat a member of the staff, there is nothing the police could do. Its all at your finger tips with Alamo.

Experience was okay, the service started out good, and after we placed out orders we received our drinks shortly after. However that was where it ended, I brought a guest with me from out of town whod never been before, and while I received my food they didnt receive theirs. The server never returned to refill bottomless drinks or popcorn and when the missing food finally arrived 20 min before the end of the movie we were still charged full price for the very late food. Okay experience that could have been great.

Alamo theaters made me enjoy going to movies again. Love the no talking or phone use rule. Ordering is convenient. Servers runnjng up and down the aisle can get distracting from time to time, but its worth it.

Dont ever order a gift card for Christmas. You wont get it until New Years, maybe!Ordered several different gift cards from different restaurants, all on Dec 15, 2019. Got all of them in time except the Drafthouse card. When I called them on the 23rd, they said the usual. You have to allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Really? Then how come all the other cards came in the mail early, like within 7 days from ordering?Live and learn, this was the first time I ordered from them and it will be the last.

I always have fun here, plus the food is so much better than it has any right to be. The buffalo cauliflower is crazy good! The waitstaff is also friendly and attentive. All around, it makes for a great night out!

Always love coming here. Very reasonably priced for movies and the food. They have a very good selection of vegetarian food and it is surprisingly good. They actually serve popcorn with real butter.

Service can be a little slow, but the food has always been good. The seats are comfortable and I have never had an issue with any movie I have seen here. I have never had sound bleed over from theater like I have at the Movie theater at Southlands Mall. If you are looking for a theater that serves good food, check this place out!

I truly dont understand why this theater is renowned. Food came 1.75 hours into a 2 hour movie and the orders were way wrong. Pizza was covered in grease and servers are constantly in front of the screen. Save yourself the trouble: eat dinner elsewhere and go to a normal theater. It should not cost $80 to eat like youre at Dominoes.

Really good place to watch a movie. Food and beverages are at regular bar prices, so you can have beer and pizza or whatever for what a chain theatre charges for a box of m&m and a coke. So that you dont look like a Fred....menu is under your table and there are lights under the table to read the menu by.

The good news is that this is an Alamo Drafthouse, which immediately makes it my favorite movie theater chain. So all of the wonderful things that they do are in place. The only possible criticism I could have of this location is the theater I visited was quite cramped. Maybe Im just biased towards the Sloans Lake location, but I felt like I was almost sitting in the lap of the person next to me. Otherwise this is a great place to see a movie.

Overall it is a fun idea. I personally would modify the tables so they were closer to the person. In order not to get food in my lap I had to hunch forward. Dont bother with the tofu sandwich. It was quite bland. Drinks are great! Buffalo cauliflower was amazing! Popcorn is very well done. Overall ambience was great. Prices are a bit high, which is why I gave 3 stars. Dinner and drinks for 2 cost us $75. To go to a Red Robin type place would not be that high.

I really enjoy this place but have been disappointed in their food a couple of times now. Last night we got the grilled cheese, and they literally sprinkled what was probably 1/4-1/2cup of shredded cheese across the entire sandwich. When we mentioned it at the end the server said he would grab the manager, who never actually came out. Maybe the manager was super busy, it’s hard to say, but seems like a reasonable thing to check out and see if it’s something that needs to be conveyed to the kitchen. However, they did comp it, which was nice, and reasonable. That said, it’s clearly a terrible choice of food at this place. I still love the theater, I’ll just be more cognizant of what I order in the future.

We are from Austin, TX and have been going to Alamo since before it moved to Ritz. Wish the menu was still unique like back in those days. Its awesome theyve expanded. This location was empty several times we went. Even for opening weekend of spider Man. More space for us I guess.

We moved to Denver from Austin and were craving some food from Alamo. We happened to pop in just to eat on the night that was the opening of the new star wars (oops!). Instead of being annoyed, the staff was so gracious and so on top of it! They apologized for any delays (they were slammed), but there weren’t any delays! Amazing food like always and even more amazing customer service!

Been going here ever since we moved to Littleton. Best movie experience in colorado. They have screenings of classics and the movie parties are always fun. If youre a fan of... interesting... horror movies, definitely check out the video vortex specials.

Its expensive too go and eat here. I ordered the bottomless popcorn with ghee. Bottomless usually means they will refund the popcorn and drinks automatically, right? Not here. I dont think the system of service deals with bottomless very well at all. Either track the bottomless items and keep the filled out send people it more. They were never around after the initial service.

Anyone that has left a 1-3 star review in the last few weeks/last month have NO idea what this place has been enduring during that time.Since starwars release, they have pulled absurd numbers of customers all flooding this place at the same time.Employees pulling 50-70 hour weeks just to try and keep up. Several THOUSAND orders EVERY DAY with some customers ordering multiple items just for one person.. Yet people complain about how long it takes to get their food??Happy new year! Do yourself a favor and try not to flood a restaurant/business the same time as everyone else and you will probably have a better experience.

The movie was great for the holidays. The service was very good. The food was soso! But you dont go for the food! You go for the atmosphere!

My husband and I love this theatre. The food is always lovely, the service is always lovely, everythings comfortable, the assigned seating is fabulous, its easy to get tickets online, they dont let people be loud and rude during the movies... I just came say enough good things. We have completely stopped going to other theatres; if its not playing here, well wait to stream it at home.We were dumb enough once to sit down in the wrong theatre, so we went to the front to pay for our food so we could leave, and the manager came and apologized to us (for *our* stupidity, no less) and gave us raincheck tickets, in spite of us explaining that it was our mistake and there was no need. Really amazing. Thank you for all you do, Alamo!

This is such a great way to catch dinner and a movie!!! The service was excellent and the food was great! We were surprised at how many options they have on the menu. There doesnt seem to be many places left that still deliver to your seat. Great experience all around!

Swanky. Smaller than most multiplexes, the the allure of food and drinks is strong. Staff does a good job of keeping out of the way during the movie. It is a little distracting. The food and drinks didnt make folks be more annoying that usual, though the sound of a burger being scarfed down is a new sound in a movie theater for me. They do have a two strikes and your out policy for annoying folks which is nice. Honestly I would like it for a movie I cared less about so I could actually enjoy the food and drinks. Would go again and this time actually order more than just a drink.

Fun place but its always so slow to get initial drinks and popcorn. They need so many more people to speed things up.

Enjoy Alamo for movie and dinner. Food is good for the most part but at times there is a miss though it is rare. Biggest issue is the overall cleanliness can range from good to rather poor where the table is still sticky.

Their customer service is horrible here. Forget enjoying a nice dinner while watching a movie because it most likely won’t even come out to you until an hour into the movie. Not only that, the food is cold so it’s like it’s been sitting somewhere the whole time. Servers were absolutely rude. When we asked for a manager 2 times no one ever showed up. After that a different server showed up and slammed our sodas on the table and walked away. I asked for straws and I guess in her mind it was okay to throw the stares. Rude! I don’t think I’ll ever come here again. Not worth it what so ever.

I dont like seeing movies in theaters. That said, Alamo Drafthouse is the only theater I will go to when I do want to see a movie in a theater. I appreciate their strict policies which help keep the theater free from distractions. I also appreciate the ability to order food to my seat to enjoy during the film. I only wish the menu was a bit larger and the food a bit better for the prices.

This facility promotes and engages in age discriminating policies. Because my child is under age 3, she was not allowed in the theater to watch the Disney Movie The Lion King! To add insult to injury the manager in no way attempted to assuage the situation despite the hour travel time it took for us to get to the theater and as a result we had to make dinner plans elsewhere, missed the movie at the nearest theater (which allows children to enjoy a childrens movie!) and had to catch the late show.

My movie home away from home. If I can see a desired movie here, it is my first choice. Intimate, tasty food and drink, and the pre-shows, that highlight some part of the film I came to watch, are so fun.

Went for Valentines day. Movie was great, seats were comfy, and the food was good. Tried to order drinks two times and both times the server took the order and then never came back with the drinks.

Really enjoy coming here. Drinks and food are good. Come all the way from the Springs to go to this theater on occasion, largely due to the policies on talking/small children. To the previous reviewer, the website clearly explains their policy on small children - which the lack thereof is a nice break from having to listen to screaming children in other theaters (and no small part of the reason we make the hour+ drive here)

I am very happy they take the no talking durning the movie seriously. We went to a movie and the people next to us kept talking. They had a regular conversation with no sense that others are trying to watch the movie. We flagged our waiter down with the card and the management responded by watching the people talking. They gave them a warning after they witnessed them talking and after three times they kicked them out if the movie.

Nothing really too special about it. I probably prefer to sit in a regular seat. I think it is way overpriced for what you get. But, you may like it. So, try it out.

Weve been here--and reviewed--Alamo Drafthouse many times. But for the first time ever, we stopped in just for beers at The Glass Half Full. It was somehow a completely different experience; dinner at Teds Montana Grill was delicious, but as our conversation lingered in the parking lot, we realized we werent ready for the night to end. And then we saw the answer, in lights, across the parking lot!The service was excellent: we were greeted when we arrived, and the bartender was at out table with menus as we sat down. The waitstaff kept a close watch on our drink levels, always attentive but never intrusive. The chairs at the low tables got a bit uncomfortable, but then again we were there for quite a while!That level of service ensured well be back again!

This is the best theater for standard films. I saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood here in 35mm for my birthday and it was incredible. The pre-show they have here has a great old time feel and how things work here is incredible. The food also tastes great though its expensive. This theater gave me the best movie experience Ive ever had.

What can I say about this place? The original CO location. Its a must for movie lovers. Great tap selection and not over the top pricing on food. Love the movie parties here.

Alamo changed the way I go to the movies. Theater plus restaurant all in one. No need to leave the chair. Prefer Alamo to any other movie chain.

This is an interesting concept. Not sure if it would work as well with a full house, but for our visit, it was great! This is a movie theater/restaurant all in one. A table is available for every 2 seats. There is an extensive menu of appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, and drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic). Patrons write their order on paper & place it in holder. Servers pick up orders & deliver food with such professionalism, you barely notice. They dont interrupt the movie at all! Food was great (vegetarian meals also available), service was excellent. You can order food until shortly before your movie ends. Bills are discreetly delivered & collected before end of movie. Fun experience!

Great idea They used to have family events at night but no more. The food used to be great here. Very sub par for for the price we paid. Will not return.

Best place to see a movie. Yes, the food is sub par and overpriced, thats obvious. However, I appreciate to the end of the world that you dont encounter loud patrons that talk through the entire movie. Popcorn, one size and refillable, as the gods intended. Service staff are like ninjas, swooping in and bringing you what you want. I guess what I love about this place so much is that it is a throwback to the days when the movie theater was king, and it was a big deal to go. So you didnt disturb people, it was clean, and most importantly, not kid centric. As a kid I remember going to the theater being a privilege. After all movies were for grown ups, cartoons and Disney were for kids. So that feeling of going to a special place, for me anyway, is restored every time I go. I really like this place.

Alamo is a wonderful place to eat and watch movies. They have great cocktails and great food. They do specialty menus for some movies, which is a lot of fun. I highly suggest!

Alamo is a unique place to see a movie. Very friendly staff, excellent food, and non-commercial atmosphere makes this place a great escape.The pre-movie shows are entertaining.Brought my tween here several times.Food and drink prices comparable to other theaters, but taste much better.

Great experience. My only complaint would be trying to read the menu with the little lift they provide. These old eyes need more.

We get a gift card every year from our daughter for our anniversary...went on a quiet weekday to see a movie...service was a bit slow. Popcorn is delish!
