Its family friendly. The fishing is fun. Its my husbands happy place. We always have caught fish at this location. Its a nice way to spend a few hours fishing. You dont need a fishing license and you can even rent gear to use here and they have bait to buy.

Took my son here in 2007 back than this places charged for fishing rods rental and at the end charged for fish that we got to keep. Back in 2007 bass was biting every 5 seconds. Now in 2020 took my youngest and rules changed. Now it’s catch and release and bass bites ones in 30 minutes or so, cat fish bites ones in 5 minutes (in the mornings probably much quicker). TIPS. Bring with you 1. Cooler with drinks and snacks. 2. Gloves if you don’t like hands long fish with barehands;) 3. Chair. I didn’t have any luck at first pond where most people like to hang out. But at second one Cat fish only, it was biting much more often.

Fun place to take the kids fishing. We took the grandkids here to teach them how to fish and they loved it. You pay per pole, not per person. Bring some food and have a picnic. Great place for a family outing.

Its a great place to fish! Pretty tranquil (as long as there arent people with super strong perfume/cologne on...lol!) The guys in charge are super kind and attentive, making you feel welcome as you come and even as you leave. Theres a lot of ponds and bodies of water to choose from, and their prices are super reasonable. $15/person fishing. $3 all baits, $3 fishing pole rentals, more prices online :) thanks for a great first time here for my bf and I!

This is a great place for the family to come & fish. They help you when your string is tangled in a ball & even sell worms there. You cant take the fish home, you have to throw them back. Theres several ponds to fish from with signs on what kind of fish are in them. Theres several table to sit at for lunch as well.

Not the best experience. You would expect to catch a few fish, especially with kids, who never had the experience of catching fish. I wont come back here.

Great experience, the staff was extremely helpful, they even used the golf cart to help one of the members of our party get from pond to pond. Equipment rental was good and price was fair. Catch and release was fun... the website does not tell you that if you keep the catfish you pay $5 per pound cleaned or not. It does say the blue gill and bass r catch and release. I thought not mentioning the charge on the catfish was not being up front. With that said I will most likely return, now that I know all the rules.

On the fence about this, cons first: cash only, dead fish floating in the pond, there were lots of people on a Sunday around 1. Expensive, entrance and renting 3 poles and bait was almost $65Pros super helpful and friendly staff. Shade set up around a few ponds.

I wanted a safe place to take my dying Grandfather sometime back, he had a final wish to fish with me and his liver was failing fast, effecting his mobility. I called this location multiple times and left a voicemail detailing his fragile and delicate state, asking about safety related questions. He served our country for nearly 20 years as an Air-force veteran and I strongly feel they felt the possibility of an injury happening on their property wasnt worth the dialogue, much less the time to give me a response. I hope you remember the people that defend this flag, rather than presumably focus on just yourself. I fish almost all of the local areas and this was the safest possible platform by all accounts, and the closest. I hope you think about how you operate as a business, it pains me to write this but therapeutic venting my disgust. Pretty sad when a business like Temptations (a local strip club, in a shady town) shows more appreciation to our military, like for instance offering free entry to all Veterans and Military on depressing anniversaries like 9/11. Please try to remember the people who truly defend this flag in the future. I just hope that the lack of a reply wasnt a type of discrimination, more so incompetence or pure laziness

What a nasty place. The first time I called the person could not hear me and began to yell and scream obscenities at me. When I call back and somebody else answered the phone they thought the situation was funny and pretended they couldnt hear me and when I said can you hear me they said no and began to laugh and thought it was hilarious.

-10 Wish that was an option!!! Waste of money like no other. They charge for everything on top of charging thru the roof to just fish. NOT ONE BITE!!!! Sure with the helpers pole and everything my son caught a blue gill...but who wants to spend money fishing for blue gill? With so many places that are no charge to bring your family and fish this place is something that shouldnt cross your mind. Horrible experience. Some people dont care about family and having good out fashioned fun...its all about the money....just sad.
