The employee at the snack counter was very rude, the woman at the ticket computer grabbed my mothers phone from her hand very rudely to scan our tickets and the bathroom floor was covered with paper towels. Not impressed to say the least. I expected a hell of a lot better than this seeing as they just opened due to Covid. If movie theaters want to stay open, theyll have a hard time doing it with staff like this and empty movie seats.

Twas an amazing cinema experience. The seats reclined and had plenty space. Tuesdays are half price and Thursdays have a student discount. I had the Captain Marvel Lemonade which was delicious!

Recliner seats were very comfortable with plenty of room. I ordered a combo #2 (lg drink and popcorn) and think both sizes are fantastic for the price of about $16 with tax. I went for the early matinee shows at 9am, so it wasnt super busy at that time but I imagine its usually busier in the evenings anyways. There is a lounge area with couches and tables where you can hang out if the theatre isnt ready for seating yet, which I definitely think is a plus.

Awesome theater! Great sound and picture. Comfortable reclining chairs and good service. Saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker there and it was a great experience! Highly recommend!

While staying at the Graduate Hotel my son and I decided to see a movie at your theater. We enjoyed the experience. The theater was clean and well kept. The employees were very pleasent. We found our seats which were very clean and comfortable and the screen was easily seen. I would recommend this theater.

Beautifully decorated spacious lobby, with large concession counter that offer a large variety of snack foods reasonably priced for the theater experience. The theaters themselves are equipped with recliners that adjust to preference to get best and most comfortable view of the screen. Sound is supperb, and picture quality is magnificent. A fun time for all movie lovers.

Pretty decent theater, comfortable chairs that are spaced well enough, they recline and you can lift up the center armrest on the two chairs side by side to be more intimate. Why not five stars? They did a really bad job cleaning, theres popcorn all over both inside the movie area and out in the lobby. Other than that though a pleasant theater

Had a good time tonight, it was my first time there since the remodel. I love the lounge, you can have a cocktail until your movie starts. The reclining seats are comfortable and the service is good. What more can you ask for.

Great theater with comfy seats. Only issue Ive ever had here was trying to enter to meet a friend in the bar. The ticket lady gave me all kinds of grief because I didnt have a ticket. I explained to her that I wasnt there to see a movie, only have a couple drinks and she made a big scene about if I decided to see a movie it was imperative that I come let her see my ticket. It was ridiculous.

This is a nice place to visit. They do their best to keep the place clean. Order your tickets online and reserve your seat. If you have a parking ticket to validate, you can skip ahead to the side of their counter and the will take care of it for you.

I love that they have $5 Tuesdays and student Thursdays. Staff have always been polite, the theater is generally in pretty good condition and the movie rewards add up fast. There have been issues with concession lines being ridiculously long a few times, but all in all Im usually impressed with the speed I can get to my movie.

This move theater is awesome! Not once have I felt like an active shooter was brewing on the horizon. The recliners are comfortable. Im removing a star because I was once seated next to this unwashed hippy type who kept chewing with his mouth open and farting. It was mildly disgusting, to say the least. But I was watching Cats when it happened, which neutralized the sense of disgust and brought peace to my soul. So thank you Marcus

Food and drink are overpriced.

This is downtown, so you will have to pay for parking. This makes this location slightly more expensive than others. Go on Tuesdays! Otherwise Thursdays are also more affordable if you are a student. Tuesdays are $5 tickets, when tickets usually could be like $12. You can also get free popcorn and other discounts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This theatre does have the awesome cushioned, reclining, leather seats. They also have meal delivery to your seat. Also, dont rush to your seat because they always have at least 15 minutes of previews after the movie start time. There has been a couple of times they were still cleaning up from the last movie after our movies start time. On a big premier night, they also had an issue that got us into the theatre 20 minutes late. I am still giving this location 4 stars because the staff are always nice and even though we have random issues, they are usually not major and the staff are always doing their best to correct the situations.

It has style, comfort and flair. It will be much nicer when they upgrade all their seats to the recliners. Right now they only have one theater (#1) with the awesome seats. My son and I had to choose to see another movie other than the one we had wanted to see. We chose this theater chain specifically for its extra comfortable recliners. It is less than a dollar more per ticket for the theaters with the recliners. We wouldve had to sit in regular seats. Not such a great choice to have to make! The best part was the amazing service from the entire staff...friendly and on point. And the manager chose to compensate us by giving us rain check tickets to see the movie we originally set out to see. It was truly because the only movie playing in theater 1, was horrible! The manager chose to step above and beyond, and with that service, I would recommend Marcus Jacob theaters to anyone who loves to watch movies in comfort and style! Just check and make sure they have the recliners for the movie your wanting to see so you dont get caught in the same position we did!

Prices are a little high but so is every movie theater. Lots of screens, wide assortment of food, snacks, and beverages. One of my favorite places to have a movie date night

Always a bit expensive and parking can be a hassle. But it is hard to substitute the amazing sound and chair quality of Marcus Theaters. While I dont plan on going again soon, Marcus provides an exceptional level of service that should be a baseline standard for others to aim for.

I had recently gone to see the new Lion King movie and Tobias was both professional and extremely helpful. When I wasnt able to find my theater, he not only helped me find my theater, but also my seat. Will definitely be coming here again!

Horrible customer service. Long lines. They only had 2 lines open on a Tuesday night which is one of the busiest nights. They recently changed the policy where you cant have one person get in line while the other is getting the tickets. They only have 3 ticket kiosks even though this is the biggest theater in town. Eat park has more kiosks. The ticketing person was extremely rude. Typically Marcus is great and Ive never had such a bad experience at any of their other locations in Lincoln. That tells me its a management issue. Will not return here unless they make some big changes.

LOVE this theater! My boyfriend and I go regularly on student ticket days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and love that they give free popcorn with the ticket for only $6! Staff are always super friendly and the heated seats are a dream! ️

When I went to pay for my tickets I was told that I couldnt use my American Express card to pay for them, however once I got inside I was free to use it to pay at the drinks and snacks bar. At a business if you are able to use a credit card for one type of transaction, you should be able to use it for all transactions

Clean, great reclining theater seating, bathrooms conveniently located near multiple theaters, so many screens so lots of movie options. Love the location downtown. Parking can be tricky if there is another event happening but great atmosphere, great snack/food selection, clean bathrooms.

I am disappointed in the service tonight my friend was with me she rode the bus downtown had a bag full of books not food and they would not allow her in the theater. I proceed ask what the issue was and told them my car is right outside the side door in a handicap stall I can take the bag to my car. The manager proceeded to inform me no you will have to go around I said wow so I went all the way around. I will never recommend the Grand theater and won’t be back. I thought to myself what if I brought the bus down town stopped at the library and I’m not allowed with a bag of books vary disappointing.

Place looks great, but it does look dated and the food is far to expensive for what you get chicken warp was awful for the 11$ I spent on it and popcorn was ok at best chairs are ok. In all it was an ok experience that could have been better for the amount of money I spent

Best theater in town. Recliners are great. Super easy to use the rewards program and ordering tickets online. Concessions are the downfall.. understaffed most of the time Im there and slow-growing. Obviously high prices, too.

Refreshment had more lines than staff. One line only seemed to be there to show what a line looks like. After moving to another line and waiting again I took my empty cup to the filling station only to find no lids. Off to the restroom and no towels in either dispenser. Movie was good though.

Awesome experience! Had never been to a theater with recliner seats and that much room! It was awesome! The screen was massive and the Dolby Atmos equipped theater had amazing sound! Were from out of town but will definitely go here again if the opportunity presents itself!

Love this place. The price of a ticket is way too high for people who are on social security its almost impossible to come because things are so expensive. Miss the days when they had the $2 theater. There lounge chairs are awesome you feel so comfortable feel like youre at home.

Great cinema place, quick and attentive. The reclining chairs are awesome, so good my wife fell asleep. Oh well it was fun though and location and parking are on point. The only thing Ill recommend are more restrooms because the one person restroom doesnt cover it for me.

Pricey but the nicest theater in town. 24 bucks for a kid and Dad to buy tickets. Another 24 bucks for a couple slushies and some popcorn. Not a cheap date anymore. Guess I understand the proliferation of Netflix and Hulu...

I bought tickets online using my Marcus theater rewards cards. Since we were not going to be able to make it to the theater I called and asked if they could refund my card. I was told that the only way to get a refund was to come to the theater before the showtime. If I could come to the theater I would go to the movie. This makes no sense to me! Terrible customer service!! Whats the point of having a customer rewards card if you then treat your customers in this way? Sorry Marcus! For all your attempts to show your customers appreciation you have really missed the mark on this policy. For a business that provides a service to customers, your customer service is terrible!!

I avoid this theater as much as possible. I had to visit there to see the a certain new movie that was only showing at the Grand, which was fantastic and the packed house loved the show. It was extremely disappointing though because the new movie was only on a smaller screen. The theater had some random movie on the main big screen, with literally no one watching it. They could have featured the new movie, and filled the seats with fans. As good as the atmosphere was and the quality of the movie, it would have been amazing on a proper big screen. The Grand prioritizes a movie thats been out for over a month and isnt getting any current viewers, to the brand new movie that is sold out at every showing. I would rather have the Starship back than go to the overpriced Grand

As theaters go, this one is spectacular in how its designed and up to date. I love the recliners and ultra screen. The bar was also a fantastic addition. The only thing that detracts from the experience is the horrible parking situation. Its in the busy downtown area so plan plenty of time to park a garage and walk several blocks.

Overpriced as I think we all know I took my nephews to see lion king and after admission and popcorn..... the kids had fun but it will definitely be a special occasion kind of thing PS bring back starship 9

Great movie theater with all reclining seats. I only ever go on Tuesdays for $5 movies or Thursdays for $6 student movies. Get the Marcus Rewards Card for a free small popcorn with your movie and use it to waive the fees when reserving on Fandango.

The movie playing with fire was wonderful. Even the side characters were fabulous. I laughed and cried the whole time.

Love going here to see movies, but sometimes people come from the bars to see a movie and they can get quite talkative during them, which is annoying. But staff tends to take care of those people.

I love taking in a movie downtown especially watching from the Dreamlounger seats.The best times for a friend or family outing or going solo are $5 Tuesdays (free popcorn) or $6 matinee Fridays. Cons for downtown parking. Use the parking garage to save getting a ticket for metered parking. The length of movies often run longer than your meter.

Saw Zombieland, Only a few people in Theatre... The Grand is Greatest Theatre Lincoln has ever Had!! Except its Downtown... But then you can eat at BisonWitches!!

The actual viewing of the movie is wonderful! Comfy relaxing seats, plenty of room to move around without bumping into other people. The screen is so large and clear it makes the movie experience a true adventure. Why only three star? Cost for something so inexpensive such as popcorn? The place has many people going through it daily but it does look a bit rundown. Take a look at the womens bathroom more.

$6 movies before 11am?? Heck ya count me in! My fiancé and I are major movie goers and we come here veryyy often. The seats are lazy boy style, very comfy, lean all the way back and you can cuddle with your loved one! If you park in the lot on P street bring your ticket and they validate it so that you have FREE PARKING! Everything here is clean (chairs, theaters, bathrooms, everything) LOVE this theatre!

Good movie theater experience. Overall it is clean and has good staff. Also has some nice features such as heated seats and recliners, and a bar. They also let you reserve seats when you buy your ticket for some of the theaters. Can be pricy I only go on Tuesday or Thursdays when they have a discount. Popcorn and snacks are typical movie theater prices (expensive). My only real complaint is I dont like that they charge you more if you buy a ticket online, I feel it should be the same price as buying it in person.

Super great place to watch movies in downtown Lincoln, close to UNL campus. Movies are $5 for students on Tuesdays and Thursdays and prices are decent. I recommend reserving seats online, especially for new and busy movies.

I should open this by saying that I am not a movie goer. I normally prefer to watch them in the comfort of my own home. This theater has me double thinking normal. Very comfortable recliners, great sound and experience. It truly is better than home, now if they would just give ME the remote so I could pause the movie when I wanted. The theater was clean, the food as expected is outrageous, and the staff were professional even in the face of a mass of people.
