I saw a final final cut of Apocalypse Now at this theater and the acoustics and the intimate setting, was really the best way to see this movie, when I saw the original version of this movie in 1979, I didnt get as many nuances as I did when seeing here in the more intimate setting

Saw Parasite. This theater always has great films, decent popcorn, comfy seats. Just wish they had fountain soda and easier parking. Its downtown so you hunt for a parking space or pay to park in a garage and hope its nearby.

Part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Showing films: both independent features and documentaries that the general public rarely see or are aware of which is a damn shame because they far exceed the quality of films generally offered at your local cineplex. The theater itself is casual, quiet, spotlessly clean and unlike other art house cinemas, theres even a concession stand for those who cant go to the movies without popcorn and a coke...and tickets cost less than the mainstream movie theaters charge. A great place to bring that cute girl in the office after dinner at DISH or some place in the HAYMARKET or ...if youre strapped for cash, THE SULTANS KITE!

The only art cinema house in Lincoln and, as such, indispensable. In addition to a wide variety of films, the Ross often invites, say, a director to talk about her work after a showing.

No other theater in Lincoln shows the range, quality and variety of movies that the Ross shows. You wont be reclining in the seats or have wine and beer to take with you into the show, but those shows you can see at home. Go to the Ross for the special movies.

Thought provoking films usually dont make their way to the chain theaters, so Im lucky to be able to go here. Also, there is a bike rack which is convenient. We never miss the Oscar nominated short films!

A wonderful small theater in downtown Lincoln. Youll find a wide range of quality films here, including smaller/independent releases, foreign language films, documentaries, and more! The staff is very friendly, and the concessions are better and less expensive than the big theaters in town. They also offer memberships for discounted tickets.

5 bucks only for students and the films they show are great! Cheap snacks and usually lacking a crowd makes this spot hidden gem in my opinion.

This is the University of Lincolns theater and shouldnt be judged on the same level as the Lincoln Grand Theater just a few blocks down the road. The staff are all students and I believe study film. They would be great resources when asking questions regarding the film you choose to go see. Ive seen many movies here and its always a great time.

About the only place in Lincoln to see movies that arent part of the standard faire. Many indie and documentary films are shown here, and they show a lot of films that are skipped over by Marcus Theatres, such as Three Billboards, etc.The seats arent as cozy and the concessions are slightly less appealing than Marcus, but the lower prices and chance to see something different is occasionally worth it.
