I rescued a family portrait from a storage facility and it was in bad shape; a lot of paint had flaked off and what was left was so dirty i was afraid to clean it. Metro Gallery cleaned it and restored it with great care. Im really pleased with their work. Will definitely go back, both to save art and buy art.

The proprietor, Dean Settle, is very enthusiastic describing the art and artists in the collection which no doubt comes from being a collector himself. His love of art shines through. Metro Gallery in Lincoln, NE is a treasure trove of all kinds of great visual images (original art, photography, antique posters, etc.) collected under the keen eye of Dean Settle or on consignment from other collections or estate sales -- and all at ridiculously reasonable prices. I have seven paintings hanging in my downtown condominium all of which have made it a place I happily call home.
