Small, but cool! Loved all the pieces by local artists! There are things to see inside and outside, and you can even do some POSITIVE painting yourself in the alley!

Im taking my second art class at Lux and have enjoyed both. The classes are small. Supplies are plentiful. Teachers are good at instructing the adult learner. If you want to try something new or get instruction to become better with your art, you will appreciate what they offer at Lux.

We attended a family pottery class and were able to return within the week to glaze our pieces. My son attends art camps. And weve all done couplesclasses where thecouple could be an adult couple or a child and adult duo. Weve had birthday parties here, too.The artists-in-residence are super-helpful and seem to enjoy facilitating the classes. On top of that, they curate a rotating collection and participate in First Fridays. We love that The Lux exists.

Great non-profit art center in Lincoln. The gift shop store has art for sale by local artists. Multiple galleries have rotating shows, with some art for sale and some not. They offer classes in ceramics, painting, drawing, and other mediums for all ages.

I went to the life drawing session for the second year. It costs $10 per session with a nude model. Being an artist it is weii worth the time of 2 1/2 hours .
