Great history. Was given plenty of time to ask questions and answers was given. Very helpful people that worked there. So glad we went.

VERY MISLEADING! I want to start off by saying the receptionist was very sweet and knowledgeable about tour and the area. When you arrive at “Jesse James Bank Museum” You pay your $6.50 self guided tour, due to Covid of course. So the receptionist gives me some literature for my tour. In the literature it literally states “ AT THIS TIME WE HAVE NO PROOF THAT JESSE WAS HERE WITH THE REST OF THE GANG. IT IS POSSIBLE JESSE DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS ROBBERY DUE TO BAD HEALTH”How can somebody name the bank after Jesse James, knowing that he did not participate in this event, or even in the area?Obviously to sell tickets. Ridiculous !If a relative of Elvis Presley visited my house, I wouldn’t call it the Elvis Presley Museum. Extremely disappointed.

Only 1 person to give verbal tour. We tried twice in one day. Could not even get someone to help us buy anything from the gift shop. We waited 20 minutes for tour but ended up leaving...so frustrated. The sign says tour every hour and half hour but 11:30 came and went and the lady was not finished. They really need two people working this museum!! I was VERY disappointed. Because we drove 40 minutes for this.

Nowhere does the website say this is closed for the winter. We drove all the way over from Gardner, KS to take a tour to a sogn that says closed for the winter. There are several places online that say open 10 am to 4 pm. Really disappointed.

Located in Historic Downtown Liberty, Mo is the actual site and Bank Building of the first daylight sucessful peacetime Bank Robbery in United States History on February 13 1866. Jesse James gang has been credited for the robbery that left one college student dead.

You crybaby. You probably make that in hour. How much to go to the fake movies for a family of 4. $30,$40 after popcorn and drinks $50? And that is one room. This is the history of a man done wrong and his attributes to pay his debt to society. He was the 19th century robbin hood.
