A little pull off on the side of the road and a short walk will have you saying OOH! and AAH! as you pear over the edge of the walk into the rise of the Popo Agie river. Bring some quarters so you can get some food to toss to the giant rainbow trout below. And take a second to read about the area and admire the wildlife (and plant life) around you, just dont forget to visit the sinks as well!

There were so many trout in the water below- both rainbow and brown. I highly recommend feeding them with pellets from the dispenser. It was so fun to watch!

You can enjoy nature and watching enormous fish. There is a vending machine with fish food. Great place to visit

Bring some quarters for fish food! I recommend going past the rise and doing the one minute hike down to the sinks first, take your time at the visitor center, and then taking the traiI on the far side of the parking lot down to the Rise, its maybe a 5 minute very easy walk.

In the middle of a desert and you have a pool full of water that comes from under the ground thats pretty darn cool well worth the time to go in and see it

Biggest brown trout in the state live comfortably in this gorgeous natural wonder! 25 cents to feed them some food and make them go absolutely buck wild! No fishing! The ranger basically lives at this location! Awesome canyon hike along the river er and cliffside to spectacular lookout points.

Its amazing to see the large trout and the water gushing from the mountain into the river. Geologically amazing!

This is an awesome place to visit if you want to walk trails and see the river. The trout pool is filled with trout most of the year!
