1st visit. Everyone was friendly. Caught 2 BASS: 3lb and 2lb (weightless 5in senko green/red) + (4in weightless creature bait). Amazing shade and shore casting is easy. Water is clear enough to see the bait fish.

Big area to walk and hike!

Absolutely beautiful! But dont even think bout being there after bout 6 in the evening unless u wanna stay the night! They do lock the gate and they dont check to see if there are visitors in the park!!However, the Lancaster Police man that came to our rescue lol was so nice! We were so embarrassed it was quite humorous!

My dog Buster loves to come to Bear Creek Nature Park anytime of the day for a walk around the pond. There are always beautiful things to see and its very quiet.

The lake isnt as big as I wouldve liked it to be. The lake was dry and barely had any water in it. Its a good place for picnics tho. It has a large, shady and relaxing space.

Fantastic place to play with adult toys! Great for rc cars and drones! Plenty of open space for flying fast, and theres a spot by the gazebo with lots of trees for slow cinematic flying. Lots of fun to be had here!

Nice and clean park!

This is a small park with some walking trails. I recommend this spot for a picnic because there is tons of space to setup between the trees.

Nice n clean place to be in family time.

The park is pretty and was almost completely empty when I went. Plenty of space for get togethers and animal play. I was a little disappointed with the trails. Where I could get to was fine but a lot of the trail was covered in knee high grass and after seeing several snakes I opted not to go further.

The park has some walking paths and a lake. We were the only people there so it was nice and quiet. It does have restrooms there and horse paths as well.

Beautiful park! Makes you feel like youre at a summer camp far away from civilization. Ponds are good for fishing and trails are interesting to explore. My only critique would be that some of the trails would benefit from more clearing of roots and stumps or being lined with rocks or gravel. We will definitely be coming back to visit again!

Beautiful. Nearly untouched looking area to hike and camp. Picked up some cans and a fishing hook though lol pretty wet this time of year. April 21st.

This place was cleared out in the beginning by Inmates from Hutchins state jail thru the city of Lancaster. Park is mostly man made...They used no heavy equipment or machines only chainsaws chippers and bladed weedeaters.

My wife and I go here alot. We enjoy being alone and the environment. One time we found a big tree that was down crossing over the creek and I climbed it to take pictures. Ita quiet, clean and a good place to take family. Only set back is that you arent allowed to camp out there but only one a year when they have an event.

Water level has dropped a lot. Ive never been able to walk across the pond until today.

This is an okay park but the ponds can be quite disgusting which is understandable. There are also a lot of ants around the seating areas so I do not like taking my daughter there.

Nature at its finest clean restrooms nice trails and good place to walk jog or ride horses and bikes.

Bear Creek Park, really...? I went for a morning jug with my family and to walk couple of miles and there is nothing out there but a nasty water pond and uneven trail not well maintained. The trail is not even a 1/4 of a mile. Please see other parks for reference, the park staff should take more pride in keeping this park up to standard.
