My daughter wanted to come for her 9th bday! Staff is friendly and fun environment for family fun!

Great place for kids and teens to hang out. My 14 year old has went to hang out and skate with her friends. This place was definitely needed in our community for our kids to have fun and safe things to do. It’s clean, nice and inexpensive. I went skating every weekend as a kid and I love that my kids get to go skating now too and closer to home.

Employees are all very helpful and I love the loyalty card! We had such a good time and the kids had so good indoor fun and exercise. We will be back

Smallest rink I have ever to probably the size of a living room. My toe stop kept breaking off and I had to fix it constantly throughout the night. There are many better places that you can go to instead. The only thing I give them is that they had nice bathrooms

Its a cool place, but things were a little chaotic when my family and I were there. There seemed to be a lack of structure. Kids were kinda skating all directions and management didnt seem to care. I had to dodge numerous kids going in the wrong direction. Good way to get a serious injury.

Skates roller rink is an awesome addition to Lancaster! They place great music and the staff are wonderful! They also offer birthday parties and a full redemption arcade. Friday nights are for teens only which gives them something safe to do. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for something else to do in Lancaster for kids and adults, alike.

Snow day today so I took the kids here for the first time. Ages 9, 6, and 4. They all had so much fun! I loved that they had the little plastic walker like things for the kids. The staff was super friendly. The place was clean. My kids really enjoyed the colored lights all over the place. I didnt think the price was bad for skating or skate rentals. I do wish they had half sizes on the skates. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend. Super nice people and very accommodating. Party open skate rate $120 2 hours and 20 skate passes. Loved our time at Skates♡

Great place. Nice friendly atmosphere the place is kept clean and the staff are nice and friendly. My son absolutely loves this place. Fun to just get away and skate for a few hours and the price is reasonable as well.

My kids really enjoy this place. They liked the rink and really enjoyed the arcade. I think the atmosphere was great, especially for the newer generation of roller skater. I really like how there are different themed events for the kids. I hope places like this continue to grow in our community!

Me and my friend came here to skate. Then she got broken up with and wasn’t feeling it. We called a ride and sat a waited and where we were sitting other kids were too, but we got told to get off. We went to use the restroom too and got in trouble for being in there for “too long”. The workers were not understanding whatsoever and extremely rude. Don’t come bere

Love this place, very clean and staff was absolutely amazing. Had a party, and staff was very involved. My son loves teen nights on Fridays. So glad Lancaster has another wonderful place for the kids. I really like the fact that there is no time limit as well, could spend all day here.

I booked a party with skates all my guest had a great time the staff was great nice and friendly. We also went back a couple days later to use our pass the gave us and once again had a great time friendly staff Very clean place we’ll be going back again soon.

There’s nothing like this in town. Skate for a while, grab a drink out the vending machine, win some prizes, & try to beat the high score on the punch machine..I think I had more fun then my girl lol cheap as well

They have things for kids to not fall when skating you can make a lot of new friends and the manager is very nice nest place to go when your bored. They have lots of cool lights there is limbo and there is a arcade the people that work there are also very nice

This place is AWESOME!! I love that some one has opened up another roller skating rink in Lancaster. I grew up skating at Skateland on Hubert Ave. pretty much every weekend and have so many fond memories. The workers at Skates are so nice and its obvious that they all love their jobs. The place is always so clean and you cant beat the admission price! The redemption arcade is so much fun and my grands love that they can win their own prizes! I cant wait till February for my little grandsons birthday party!

Went with a group of friends while school was closed and had a blast!! We had so much fun and the employees were very polite!

Went on a Friday night, left before teen night started, as none of us were enjoying it. There is no safety guard on the floor, so kids were doing whatever they wanted with no consequences. Ive skated at many rinks and never been to one so chaotic and uncontrolled. The only exit/entrance to the floor are on the same side, so kids were constantly cutting across to get out or flying into the rink with no concern for anyone else and no one to correct their etiquette. Besides the vending machines (which only accept cash) there was no way to even get water to hydrate, and youre not allowed to bring anything in. Most of the kids there had no parents around and some were rude; pushing and bullying were rampant. The music was nice and modern but the bass was so high you could hardly hear what was playing, it was so loud you had to yell to hear the person next to you, and they played the sames songs on repeat. I would not skate here again, it just feels too dangerous.

Skates is a very clean and well-kept modern skating rink. The staff are incredibly professional and attentive to all customers needs. I have personally spoken to the owners who enjoy being out on the floor interacting with the customers and receiving feedback on the establishment. The party room is very spacious and accommodates large groups well. They have a concrete floor that is smooth and exceptionally well cared for. During my visits I have witnessed the staff sweep the floor and pickup trash to ensure that there are no hazards on the carpet or the skating floor. Skates plays modern music and has a jukebox full of an abundance of songs that you can play for a small fee. The arcade is packed with modern games that kids will love. You can cash in your points for a wide variety of awesome prizes for all ages. They have multiple vending machines where patrons can purchase a wide variety of drinks and snacks for a very reasonable price. The staff ensures that the restrooms are always clean and stocked. They have some very nice high and low top skates to match your preference. Skates does allow you to bring in your own food and drinks, which is awesome if you have a restrictive diet. There are lots of benches to sit on around the skating floor. They have lots of storage for personal belongings, so they are not on the floor and creating a safety hazard. You can pay the admission and skate rental if you need and skate the entire time Skates is open, which is an extremely good deal. The staff does multiple activities several times throughout the open skating time. This is one of the most family friendly skating rinks I have ever been to. I have enjoyed my previous visits to Skates and can’t wait to go back again.

Great Roller Rink!!!! Beautiful, clean, well kept, updated rink! The staff is informative and very helpful to the customers. Attended a birthday party...the staff was very attentive, the party room was amazing, very clean and modern design, great experience. The skating floor is well cared for. Great grip on this floor. It is a great experience and we love the fact that we can skate the whole day. The skates are great and well maintained. The music is modern. The arcade is stunning. The games are very upscale and very reasonably priced. The prize selections are so nice for all ages of children, from small children to teens. Vending machines are available for snack and drink selections. They are priced that everyone can afford them. The bathrooms are very nice, clean, newly remodeled and smell amazing. There are cool murals painted on the skating floor and interact with the black lights. Teen Night is a set aside time, later on Friday night, for all teens to enjoy skating and having social time in a safe environment. The management is very happy to help make your experience a great time! Lancaster is lucky to have such a nice, friendly, positive skating rink for everyone to enjoy!! Our whole family LOVES Skates Roller Rink!!!!️️️

Thank you guys for bringing this to Lancaster. It takes me back to many memories skating at Amanda roller rink.

We went here to try something new and left an hour after leaving because of how terrible the experience was. Multiple kids were purposefully ramming into walls and other skaters because of the absence of any sort of supervision. The entrance and exit were also on the same side, so people were flying in and out of the rink without concern for anyone else.

Awesome and safe place for the kids, you pay $8.00 for your admission and for your skate rental, you can skate from open to closing if you want to.The skate rentals are very nice and clean, they have low top skates or high top skates.The floor is concrete, but it has awesome grip for my wheels, I have Low top speed skates (Vanillas) wide wheels (Sure-Grip Zombie Wheels) and they really grip on this floor.The size of the floor is a awesome size, I can fly on the floor and can move comfortably without bumping in to any on the floor.The staff there are super friendly and will help you with any questions you have, with there or any of the other facilities as in (Jolly Hoppers) (Jump-N) (Tag-M Family Lazer Tag).Super clean place, restroom rooms are clean and smell nice and party room is big and was very cleanParty room is big and lots of tables And chairs for family and friends to sit, they also provide plates napkins and utensils to use for party.The arcade Is awesome, very cool games to play and the prizes are so cute and nice Quality. Love to just go there and just the play games, for a date night.Vending machines are reasonable prices, on there snacks, can pops, bottled water and Gatorade.I asked if I could bring in a kids meal from fast food restaurant and they said that, that was fine to bring that in.They have benches and cubby holes to put your stuff in.The jukebox is reasonable price, has just about every song you can think of on it.The kids love to do the limbo and hockey pokey, chicken dance.I would recommend this to anyone with a small child, teenager or adults to just go and have a good time.

Trash. unsupervised kids doing whatever they want while the workers sit behind the counter on their phones not doing anything about. my 10 year old felt bullied and wanted to leave. arcade wasn’t available for whatever reason and this place doesn’t deserve the one star i gave it. rink too small , the floor is concrete and slippery, and since the employees could care less about what you’re doing you’ll most likely either hurt yourself because kids are sitting on the floor , going the wrong way , crowding the entrance to the rink and if you’re like me you’ll want to assault somebody because literally no one had any regard for anybody’s safety. trashy disrespectful people on a trashy small dangerous floor with a trash arcade that the trash employees can’t operate. another fine lancaster establishment full of lancaster’s finest. i wouldn’t go back to this place if it was free.
