I must say its a beautiful and Spacious hotel. But ((barely)) have people working. Everyday I had to get my child and I dressed to go ((outside for breakfast)) which was very Agitating. The pool closes at 11pm which was awesome. I stood at this hotel for about 1 week and change and no room service. On my 3 day I started to notice little things about my room. And of course as I expected the room service wasnt happy cause they stated that how come I didnt say it before. And my response was well When traveling during cov-19 time you expect the things should be done properly, No one on vacation just stops and searches their Room to see if its clean. The staff are over all nice.

Very nice hotel, with beautiful landscaping and friendly employees. I stayed in a balcony room. Comfy beds, nice bathroom and toiletries, and smelled clean upon entry. My coffee maker was unfortunately really dirty, but after telling the front desk she offered us free Starbucks drinks. I was a little bothered by how another family was put in the room directly next to us when there were many vacant rooms in the hotel, we could hear their whole conversations and child playing. Balcony wasn’t private at all but it was still relaxing to go outside in the morning and sit there with a cup a coffee.

The bartender Robin was unbelievable. She was absolutely outstanding and despite being busy made sure I had everything I needed and even lent me an ear for some stories. She was everything you want in an employee and more. I ordered some food with an adult beverage and told Robin it was going to be to go and I was going to eat it in my room, however she was so pleasant that I ended up eating right there at the bar.Im very disappointed as I came back tonight and she is nowhere to be found. Normally every Friday and Saturday you can find her there so I dont know what happened about tonight but Im going to ask the manager because the bartender seems like hes lost in another world tonight.I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant if Robin is working! However if she isnt, then my 5 stars goes down to only 2 stars.Kudos Robin!

The hotel staff was marginally friendly and accommodating at best. The hotel was undergoing remodeling during the stay but many issues quickly surfaced; date of stay early Sep 2020. First we booked multiple rooms as we were staying there as part of a family trip, while most of the rooms were clean one of the rooms in particular was not only dirty but had 10-20 dead bugs on the floor. While the manager agreed to fix the problem without hesitation, he thought it was sufficient to only vacuum the area and that, that would be acceptable; no attempt to compensate or offer other accommodations was provided. Additionally the rooms we booked and paid extra for, 2 Queen Beds with walkout pool access, was not what we were given. When this was brought to the attention of management they said sorry and that they have been having system issues but there is nothing they could do as the hotel was full. Next, there was no coffee, microwave, or shampoo in the room. Many aspects of the hotel left the impression that they pushed to open too soon; limited seating and no umbrellas by the pool, chain link fence separating parts of our door space, providing a single office chair as the “patio furniture” for the deck, lacking in general cleanliness, multiple items broken or in poor mechanical condition, and a staff that for the most part was unsure how to process simple tasks. While the pool area was nice and the family made the most of it, we will certainly not be back.

I checked in and then checked out about 10 minutes later. No water in the hotel lobby, which I discovered AFTER soaping my hands. Told the hotel manager and he got me a bottle of bottled water to use. Then he called someone to make sure the water was on in my room. Wait, there might not be WATER in my room?? I never got the chance to find out. After I finally navigated the maze to even FIND my room, the room key didnt work. Avoid this place like the plague.

Obviously all of the $ are being funneled into the facility, and the golf course is allowed to deteriorate. This place should be shut down until its repaired.

Just completed a 4-day convention at this hotel & conference center. Theyre getting closer to completing renovations, but there was still much to be finished. There were raw concrete steps with duct-tape wrapped bannisters, uneven floors, and workers all around working to complete the renovations. Things felt very quarter-assed.The addition of an elevator was a nice bonus compared to previous stays. Without elevators, this hotel feels like M.C. Eschers dream with stairs going EVERYWHERE!The new floor was some type of tile that they wiped down everyday to the point it felt you could be skating on it, and just not safe. The hotel room I stayed on had been completely renovated and was nice. I had requested a room with a King Bed, which also wound up being a handicapped accessible room. The closet doors has painted edges, but were raw rough-cut wood. The accessible shower was nice, but the lip didnt prevent water from going all over the floor during a shower.Dining experiences were okay. It was clear that the staff was doing what they could with what they had. A lack of credit cards machine at the breakfast buffet caused annoyances for some. The bar had been stocked with liqour the first day of the event, same for the Starbucks/grab and go.Overall, due to the ongoing construction and teething issues I give this a 3. Ill be open minded about staying there again if the circumstances warrant it.

This facility is outdated and falling apart. The rooms are very dirty, we had to switch rooms and the new one was not much better. As u can see from the photos we had to go out to purchase our own bed sheets. Thats how bad this place is, due to a basketball tournament and the NFL draft being in near by Philadelphia all the other hotels were booked so we were stuck. To their credit they did give us 50% the room rate which we appreciated, the staff was very polite and did their best but the owners really need to invest some money into upgrading this place.

The man at desk switch us to the pool side view. After I told him we didnt want to stay here. So we stay. Monday my wife was in the room and she went out on the patio and a manitance man was climbing over the railing my wife was terrified. When I got back she was outside of the room shaking and told me there was a man on the patio. I call the fro t desk and he went out and talked to the man . He said he will call me back and never did. Very poor run hotel. For the money I paid I should of stay at the Laquinta Inn for half the price and a lot better hotel.

Hotel was under renovation. It was in no-way clear how disruptive the renovation was via the website. It was mentioned, but not indicative of reality. Entire outside of the hotel was torn up, the facade at entrance was as well. The parking lot was at least 50% torn up. The outside entrances we also under construction and seemed dirty and dangerous. The worst thing is the layout of the hotel. It is VERY handicap unfriendly. There are small nuisance staircases everywhere. The hallways change elevation constantly and you find little stairs everywhere, very few of which had ramps too. Most elevators did not service every floor. Such a weird place. The room itself had been renovated. It was not overly impressive. It was very small. None of this lives up to the Wyndham name... should have named it under a lower/bargain brand.

Outside and some current rooms is where the current construction focus appears to be. The room we stayed in was newly completed with new mattress, bedding, carpet and new tile in bathroom. An added feature was a built-in room air cleaner. A great feature in a hotel room. Customer service was fantastic, especially the manager on call. Food at the restaurant, though limited was delicious. They also had a Starbucks in the lobby area. I also noticed an attached golf course which Im guessing was for hotel guests. When completed. This will be a great place to stay for a golf vacation or a luxury getaway. Looking forward to our next stay which will likely be after the hotel is completed.

At the time of my stay the hotel was nearly finishing up a massive renovation from being the Lancaster Host to the Wyndham. There were some areas still under major construction but the end result of this hotel is going to be beautiful. What has been completed is very nice! The bedrooms are very modern and clean. My only complaint about my entire stay would be the bathroom. There was no ventilation system so after you shower the room gets very steamy. Also, the position of the light in the bathroom gets blocked by the shower curtain so inside the shower gets kind of dark. But maybe that was just my room. The staff was very friendly too. I didnt experience any of the parking problems that others had and we were in/out a few times. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! I lost my phone in the auditorium and two of the maintenance staff came upstairs with me with flashlights and helped me find it...the were concerned, helpful and nice. Even if this hotel will be great later on, theyre not ready now for operating on the level that theyre trying to do. Even trying to park, enter and check in is confusing, as far as where to park and enter. We loaded up our luggage on a cart, to find out that there was no way to get that cart up to our room on the 4th floor, via elevator --per the hotel employee that we asked. We had to take everything off the cart and start carrying it up the stairs, although another hotel employee began helping us do so,...and carried some to our room, when he saw us doing it. The next morning, my husband found out that there was actually an elevator in the lobby area that we could have used. So, that was confusing, and it seems that some of the employees have a challenge with understanding English, which is what caused the problem. The room was decent and clean, although the mattress somewhat hard. Theyre just not ready yet.

Gordon, ASGCA, the Lancaster Host golf course opened in 1964.Played for the first time; found the design to be good with long fairways and some water hazards. Sadly the course is in need of a facelift, sand traps need racked and fairways and greens need sprayed and some maintenance. Cart paths and facilities are in need of repair, too. hopefully Wyndham is going to put some money in to updating.Overall, at the price point it is worth a day out for the average golfer like me. ($25 with cart)
