Me and my sister were in Lancaster to see the play Jesus a Sight and Sound when we passed by AMT and saw the listing for a Christmas show Joy to the World. Amazing and so good!!! What a talented crew. We enjoyed more than seeing the Rocketts on NYCSo sad they arent doing that show this year I was hoping to see it. But I will be there when they come back and do the Christmas show. So glad I was able to see it!

Good place for a show. Good acoustics, a lot of room in aisle, youre not crammed in a small seat. No liquor served there, only downfall really. Food and refreshments very reasonably priced. Getting out of the parking lot after a busy show takes a bit. Overall, nice place and well maintained.

We came for a concert and saw The Piano Guys. As far as the theater itself it was very spacious, clean, and the bathrooms are relatively accessible. The food stand was well stocked as well as they added regular gift shop in addition to the gift shop for the particular concert we were there to see. We will definitely come to see a show here and the biggest problem was parking as when we arrived a lot was full and we had to park across the street, which in itself is not a huge problem except for the fact that you have to cross very busy thoroughfare to get to the theater.

Shows were always great We’ve attended many over the years. However we are not to pleased with their handling of refunds for the shows that have been canceled or rescheduled due to Corona.The first one I requested a refund for on June 24, the second show two days later and still have not received a refund after several emails from either show. The third show scheduled for October was also recently moved to next year and I requested a refund for that one as well.I understand they are working with limited staff but maybe they should increase staff to process refunds quicker. This is ridiculous. One month and still nothing from the first cancellation. My membership is coming up for renewal in a few weeks and needless to say I won’t be renewing it. Will be attending shows elsewhere from now on.

Wonderful ensemble of music variety at its best. We traveled through the Lancaster area twice last year and was thrilled to have seen their summer show as well as their Christmas Show. Their summer Ovation show was so great, its hard to believe it was topped by their Christmas Show. A must see venue! The costumes were fabulous! The choreography second to none! All of the players were very talented in every area! They also have a slew of performers, singers, bands, etc. throughout the year. A must see for live entertainment sure to please!

This is a great place to see a concert. It is cozy and there isnt a bad seat in the house. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking can run out quickly and youll have to park across the street in the shopping center is the only thing I didnt like (but thats being picky if you ask me since its still really close). Overall I would absolutely recommend this venue for probably any type of show but definitely for a concert.

This is a place where you can find a variety of fun activities. Christian and famous singers, comedians, and much more!!!I love this place. Every time I go there with my family we all enjoy. I had a blast the last time I was there.

I seen many shows here and its a very nice theater, not too big. This time I was here to see the Christmas show. My mother in law have been coming traditionally to see the Christmas Show for the past 8 years. Its always a good show. The singers and dancers are fabulous. The gowns are absolutely beautiful.

I enjoyed my visit to see the Christmas show twice now. Reasonable priced excellent show, and a beautiful venue. There was not a bad seat in the house and plenty of leg room. Food was reasonably priced in the concession stand. There is a nice reasonable priced gift shop. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of off street parking, with people directing traffic. There was plenty of singing and dancing, wonderful costume changing, and set changing. The orchestra sounded wonderful.

We saw the Elvis Birthday show and it was fantastic. Beautiful, clean venue, friendly helpful staff. Well definitely go back to see other shows.

Awesome shows and very nice place to go always good parking too

This years Christmas performance was so painful we left half way through. Not to mention everyone that works here is utterly miserable, from the parking lot staff yelling at people to hurry up NOW. From the older ladies working at the snack bar, who seem just disgusted to be there. Getting hit by walkers and canes because everyone is rushing to seats and no one is really assisting. Do yourself a favor avoid this place at all cost. Go to Dutch Apple for less money you get a meal, dessert, high quality performance, and friendly folks. Or go to Sight and Sound, completely amazing. You will feel like you are at a Broadway Performance but a Christian performance and unbelievably friendly folks.

I saw The Oak Ridge Boys here and really liked this place. Great place to see concerts and other acts. This is a relatively small place in comparison to other places where Ive seen concerts.I think this is a way better place to see concerts than larger venues. You wont deal with the crowds here and will likely have a far better view of the act youre seeing because of its smaller size. The staff was also both helpful and friendly.

Very nice shows presented here. Near major highways and their own big parking lot. Handicap accessible bldg. Several restaurants near by. Building and grounds well maintained. They could use some traffic control at the end of the show. Have been there before and will continue to see future shows.

We went to see Aaron Lewis here over the weekend. The show was amazing, the lights and sound were perfect. Would definitely go see a show here again.

We enjoyed the show. Comfortable seating. My only issue was I couldnt figure out where to go once I was inside. But we had a great time and the people helping us park the car were so genuine and helpful. Thanks

The American Music Theater is Beautifully Quaint, Classy and Clean. Ushers are very hospitable. Seats are large, padded and comfortable, not those hard plastic seats . Snack shop is what you would normally see at a small theater. Parking is organized, we got out of the parking lot rather quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening of DWTS.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the Chritmas show. Reasonable price, excellent production, and a beautiful facility all contributed to a most enjoyable morning. Seating was comfortable and spacious. The music and talent were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The show was about two hours including an intermission and was well worth the price of admission. Unlike many theaters, the concession stand was reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Very nice venue. Any seat you buy is good and it has great sound. Parking was limited and not great for the size of the theater. People actually parked across the street and walked over route 30. I would give 5 stars if not for this. There are many nice places nearby to have dinner before a show. We were in the very back row and still had a good view.

I enjoy this place because you get to sit and every seat is a good seat. However, the sound system & video needs upgraded. Ill keep coming back so hopefully they can afford the upgrade someday. ;)

Just saw the Ricky Nelson Rememberance Show. It was terrific! His sons did an excellent job honoring their father through his music. Watching the film clips from the past brought back so many fun memories. Outstanding!!

Amazing!! An extraordinary Christmas show. The production is quality from the singing and dancing, the wonderful orchestra, sets and costumes and their choice of music was superb. Definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit. Joy to the World is definitely a must see.

AMAZING. SO TALENTED. TOTALLY RECOMMEND. The venue itself is breathtaking!! Perfect for family pictures!! The show is astounding. We went for the First Noel Show and it was just amazing. Tickets for this show were $45 per person, which isnt that bad considering how nice it all looks; but I feel as though it should include something (like a small popcorn- popcorn is offered for a price).The parking lot was well managed, with flaggers after each show, so it was easy for a driver to navigate and leave.

The Christmas show was amazing!! We had seats in the second row and I am pretty sure my jaw was in the floor the whole show. Amazing singers and dancers and actors, and they are all really nice! We got to talk with a couple of them after the show and they are all so personable. It was an amazing night that I will never forget!!

Great show with excellent performers! Some costume changes along with set changes. I dont think there could be a bad seat in the theatre. Great staff inside and in parking lot to keep everything flowing. Great theatre for any show! I have tickets for show in February.

I went to see the Elvis shows, both shows and they were fantastic. Ive been coming to see Mike Albert and. Scot Bruce for years now and they really have a great performance. The American Music Theatre have great entertainers throughout the year and they are worth seeing.

I dont go to plays or shows so for me to see something and enjoy it I guess thats a good thing. I think all the actors and dancers and musicians were wonderful I do appreciate seeing people put so much work into show and their music. It was their third show today and you wouldnt know they had put on two shows previous to this one wonderful. The food was reasonably priced and so was the gift shop you wont go broke for a soda and a soft pretzel or popcorn and a little candy. Just simple Fair nothing fancy they may have had hot dogs but we were unable to get anyone we got there if they had them I didnt see them. The show that I saw tonight was the Joy to the World show .

This place was awesome. Went there to see The Joy of Christmas what a good musical! The place is huge. You have the opportunity to shop, buy food and meet people from all over the world! If you get the chance go, you wont regret it!!

A very nice place to enjoy a show or music performance. We watched Johnny Mathis from the mazzaine on the right wing and the views were pretty good. We watched A Tribute to John Denver from the Orchestra section, 5 rows back from the stage and it was wonderful. The seats are comfortable and theres a lot of leg room and people can walk pass while you remain seated. I am 6 foot and I can cross my leg without touching the seat in front of me. The only inconvenience is the number of bathrooms available and the traffic wait to get out of the place.

AMT puts on amazing shows. We saw the Oakridge Boys tonight and it was a dream come true. The staff makes sure to take care of you if you have a disability and need assistance. Because of this perk, I get to see concerts I never thought I could, due to the mobility issues I have.

Saw Michael W Smith here. Good medium-sized venue with seating. Acoustic properties of the space were not good but view to the stage was unobstructed.

Very nice venue, Christmas show was beautiful and the place was decorated perfectly for the holidays. Gift shop had reasonable prices. Tickets were a little pricey and the pretzel bought at intermission was cold but other than that it was phenomenal.

Excellent place for Broadway-like shows nearby in Lancaster, PA. Seating is very comfortable. Plenty of restrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Quick exit following shows. Many restaurants nearby as well as outlets directly across the street.

Went to see the Christmas Show tonight. The sets, costumes, singing and dancing were all top notch, there was a LOT of talent on that stage. I just wish I could have seen it. The seating is awful, Im not sure if the slope of the seating isnt enough, or what the problem is, but it was extremely difficult to see. The people around us had the same complaint. Very disappointing! I would love to have seen more than a small piece of the stage, I know I missed a lot!

Great venue for top of the lune entertainment. Large enough to draw great performers but small enough to really enjoy the experience.

Saw christmas show. The second act was wonderful and goregous. The theater is clean. Friendly staff and the actors and actresses put their heart into the show and the stage props are goregous. This is worth traveling to from surroumding states: NY, MD or NJ. The shows attract people of all ages.

We saw The Office: A Musical Parody and it was great! Parking does fill up quickly for big shows and you might have to park across the street, but the center itself is great. Concessions are cheap and all seats provide a great view.

Staff yell at people for taking pictures while they are recording the entire performance on their personal cell phones. Show was great. Ushers were annoying and rude.

One of my all-time favorite places to see a concert or show. Mostly because its a small theater and even when a show is sold out, it doesnt feel overly full with people. Lots of leg space (my boyfriend even commented on that - he rarely has enough leg space at a theater). Love, love, love!

Wonderful Christmas Show. Colorful and nostalgic Even the lobby with its beautiful trees and garland and the parking lots trees covered from top to bottom with colored lights are do beautiful to look at. A very festive atmosphere and enjoyable time.

It was a beautuful production.The costumes, singing, dancing, scenery. It seemed like it was quite long. Id compare with any NYC production. We loved the unique gift shop, purchased some unusual souvenirs. Definitely, look forward to coming again!

The Christmas play was oddly performed, though they were talented. Seemed like there wouldnt be a bad seat in the entire place either.

Love being able to go to a concert and being able to sit down and see the artist perform. Not a bad seat in the house and the sound is awesome! Leaving afterwards is a mess but we parked in another parking lot and were able to leave without being stuck. If your favorite artist is playing here i recommend going.

Our first show at this venue and it was amazing! The Christmas show singers were incredibly talented and the costumes and sets beautiful. Kudos to everyone who made it a special evening with my family.

Omg! Saw DWTS tonight (1/22/20) and what an absolutely AMAZING experience it was! The staff was SO NICE!!!!! I got pulled up on stage & enjoyed every second of it! I WILL be back !!!!! Thank you to all ! Plus the WONDERFUL woman who got my sister a wheelchair and took her to the car ( due to recent surgery she had). Whoever the staff member was ... THANK YOU SO KINDLY!!!!!

I have been to the Christmas Show 2 years in a row and they do a breathtaking job! The performance is amazing and I personally enjoy the holiday decorations both inside and outside. Staff are friendly and helpful and the seating gives you a lot of leg room which is great for longer performances. I highly recommend the Christmas Show!!

We have attended many of their house shows over the years. The band was outstanding. It was featured through out this show. The vocalists were ok. The connection we felt with previous casts was not there. Felt very rehearsed and robotic. Previous show casts appeared to be enjoying themselves and the audience.

Saw Vince Gill here. Intimate setting for ANY show you wish to see. Can never go wrong with AMT.

American Music Theatre is a wonderful venue to experience a show. I saw Riverdance and wow what a show. Talented dancers and musicians just spectacular.

Nice, small venue to get close to the stars. I suggest parking across the street at Cracker Barrel.

I got to go & see the Simon and Garfunkel tribute show. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a gift shop & a concession stand. It seat over 1,000 people.

Overall, its a great place to see a show as most seats have a good view of the stage. Easy parking and exit. Small concession stands and ample, clean restrooms. The only downside is the audience is typically older and they dont get out of their seats let alone dance. Kinda of brings the experience down. Been to several types of danceable shows and they just wont get up so you feel out of place if you do.

They sat a wheelchair in front of me, and I spent the whole performance looking into some guys neck.

Always have a great time here. Its a nice date night type of place. Wouldve gotten a 5 but the parking lot is pretty bad and its tight inside the lobby.

2018 Christmas show was amazing. Our son who was born with a heart condition who now is 8 years. Who has some disabilities because of his heart and two strokes he had when he was only 5 months old Enjoyed the show. They really are good at what they do. Our family got to go two years ago and our son loved that show as well. Thank you all for a wonderful night out...
