Always a great place to visit. The history of Lancaster is always great to see. The library and the selection of books they have is always excellent. The yearly book sale is something that should not be missed

Great place to learn about the Mennonites and Amish! Complete with a modest museum, a bookstore featuring quality new and used books, and a comprehensive historical library featuring all things Mennonite, Amish, and Brethren. One highlight for regular visitors is the annual Book Worm Frolic, featuring over 40,000 books magazines and multimedia every year, another highlight is the benefit auction every quarter featuring some of the areas finest used book and collectables

The enthusiastic staff and volunteers at this historical society are dedicated to preserving the history of Lancaster County Mennonites. The museum and historical collections here are first class.

We attended annual Booksale. Books were sorted into better categories than in past years.

A small but informative museum with interesting exhibits and artifacts on local Mennonite history and culture. The bookstore has some interesting titles, including used historical books that you can buy for as low as $5. There is a small admission fee ($5 when we visited). Definitely add this to your itinerary when you visit Lancaster.

Great place to get the history of our area. The Mennonites have made a great contribution to our community, our county, and our Country. This is a great place to get the true unbiased history. They also have a great book sale every year which should not be missed.
