This was our 1st time there. It was an affordable, fun evening that Im sure well do again soon. Neither I or my wife had been to a drive in theater in over 12 years. It brought back a lot of memories. The screen nowadays is leaps and bounds clearer than back then. We were thoroughly impressed!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for running such a great business. My husband is immunocompromised and going by the record of running a great business for the past 6 years of us enjoying your drive in...we knew you would run a clean business. Thank you for taking the precautions to heart. We enjoyed tonight completely worry free. We have always had an enjoyable time at your drive in!

Definitely an experience for all that has slowly disappeared over time. Same as any other movie theater as to who can enjoy. I love going to this drive-in. They have done an amazing job of keeping it modern, yet not losing the original feel. Hopefully soon new movies will start playing again.

It is always a fun evening when I go to the Skyview Drive-In Theatre. The staff is friendly, the facility is safe, restrooms are clean, and the movie quality is good. The consession stand has a good variety of items and is affordable. You can bring your own radio to tune into the audio of the film for increased volume. However, they have speakers that you can use. It is also pet friendly and I love bringing the dogs! If you dont want to sit in your car, you can bring camping chairs and watch the movie under the stars. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about our visit last night...but Im going to try! (Pro Tips included!)We showed up about an hour before the movies started and were greeted very warmly by the attendant at the ticket booth. A simple show of our texted ticket purchased online and a quick rundown of the rules and we were in the gate and on our way to the area indicated for smaller vehicles. We found a spot and parked on the right side of the post. Before even opening the door to unload, the infamous golf cart guy was very helpful and let us know that we needed to switch to the other right side. (Pro Tip: If the front of your car is facing the screen, the post will be closest to the driver. If your backhatch/bed is facing the screen, the post will be closest to the passenger door.)We got reparked, unloaded and started setting up the back hatch for a comfy bed to settle into for our fun night when, right on queue, my daughter has to go to the bathroom. After digging out or masks, we headed to the facility. (Pro Tip: When not at your car, a mask is a MUST and very strictly enforced. Make sure it is covering your nose and mouth completely!!) Being an outdoor facility, I was cautious about the condition of the bathroom, but it was spotless!! We were very pleasantly surprised! We headed back to the car and settled in for our evening. The movie started and we were immediately hungry. Of course. My kiddo and I headed to the concession and were greeted by a very energetic and friendly staff. We ordered: 2 chili dogs, 1 plain hot dog, chili cheese fries, medium popcorn with butter, large root beer, Hot Tamales and Sour Patch Kids. It took about 10 minutes and totaled $24.50. Everything was GREAT and compared to regular movie theater prices, it was very affordable!! I think the popcorn was the best wed ever had! (Pro Tip: Purchase the food pass. We had the food pass and packed water and energy drinks as well as bringing in some homemade cookies! They were a great addition to the concession food and it was worth the extra $5 to have the flexibility to decide.)We got back to the car, got cozy and enjoyed 4+ hours of beautiful night air and a nostalgic viewing experience with E.T and Gremlins on the big screen! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The property was well patrolled in way that didnt distract us from our movies. All in all, it was a really good experience! We will certainly be back and be even more prepared next time!

Masks are one thing, enforcing, from your motorized golf cart, that people at an OUTDOOR drive in, wear masks, when NO ONE is around, is insane. Making fear-filled statements about not talking to your neighbor, children forbidden from playing, not even getting out of your car... we were hoping for a relaxing night of normal... this was ridiculous and caused extreme anxiety. And no, we won’t be returning, after it was not clearly spelled out in their policies online. We don’t need or want nannies on our night out- and from the look of it they will be lucky to survive the season. I was surprised we could get tickets so easily, no wonder- no one wants to deal with this overbearing lunacy.

All in all a great place to see a movie. Only complaint I have is some of the orange poles speakers dont work very well. So if you have a truck or SUV your better off using the radio station they broadcast to which is a little fuzzy. But aside from that its great. The picture quality is surprisingly good. Theres police that patrol so any people causing a problem are dealt with pretty quickly and the staff is really nice.

Clean, well-maintained facility and the picture was very bright compared to other drive-ins. BUT the owner on the golf cart is rude and condescending. Instead of politely telling you rules, or listening to your questions, he barks at you and treats you like a child. He is always actively searching for something to harass someone over and it truly ruins the fun, laid-back experience of a drive-in. I think Id rather drive up to the Lynn theater in Strasburg or the Midway theater in Ravenna for my future drive-in ventures.

What a mess of food service... I get they are getting use to a new normal of how they do service but, it should have went better.Online ticket buying was easy. Online food buying was easy. You can pick the time you want your food, however they were making it when they felt like it. We picked 9 pm for our food and got a text 25 minutes ahead of that time it was ready. So its a moot point to have times well ahead. My cheeseburger was cold when we got the food to the car. It was also missing the cheese and onions. My wifes sandwich was missing the cheese she wanted. When I went up to have my burger fixed, the wait was long with how they set up the social distancing being around the corner you cant see who is waiting.Their solution was to give me a slice of cheese and the onions for my burger. Didnt even offer me a fresh hot burger. When it came time for the movie to start the owner wouldnt start the movie until all headlights and parking lights were off so that took an extra 10 minutes.

So I usually love this place a typical date with my boyfriend! And it’s normally great today we are here on July fourth. Not knowing how busy it would be since it typically is busy we got here two and a half hours early! We were the first people at the gates to show up. And to our surprise a half and hour before the gates opened a employee parks in front of the first gate. Blocking it to where we can pull in and when she goes to unlock the other gate. We asked if we’d be able to go through and she rudely shrugged and said “ I’m not the owner we’re using one gate tonight.” I work in customer service and she was very rude. And this is typically not what we are used to at this drive in! So I would honestly loved to know why the customer service has gone downhill during the COVID pandemic. Cause with everything going on customer service should be a big part to any job. Considering there is so much to worry about during this time.

Our first experience of the night stayed with us through out the night. We came as a family and had three separate cars and parked as we were supposed to, with two large vehicles in orange spots and a car in front of them in a white spot. We purchased the food permit, in order to follow the rules, and brought in pizza and bottled water. As soon as we began to unpack our chairs and set up to eat the man in the golf cart was quick to ask for our food permit. I explained to him that we bought one and it was in the car in front of us. He very rudely told us that the food was not allowed to leave the car that purchased the food permit.I understand the need for rules but the way this guy handled it was wrong. We then moved all 10 of us around the car to eat and set up our chairs to watch the movie. Again, we were confronted very rudely and told we couldnt sit the way that we were. When we questioned why and said we would fix it, he then called for a police officer and said he didnt need to put up with our attitude.Looking through other reviews on here I can see that we are not the first to have problems with him.If you ever come I recommend hiding in your car when you see a man on a golf cart! You wont be able to do anything right in his eyes.I doubt we ever come back here.

A fun, family friendly environment. The food is over priced for the quality but the admission fee for two movies in the safety and privacy of your own car is worth every penny. Everything was great until we ordered online at the concession stand. We ordered and got a text saying it was being prepared and that we would get another text when it was ready. Well it was about 20 minutes later and I went up there to see what was going on and it was sitting in the back on top of the fridge. They said “it’s been ready for quite a while just to warn you”. We didn’t receive no text saying it was ready and they just put our food on the fridge in the back. Didn’t offer to warm it back up or anything .

So, up until a couple of weeks ago, I wouldve given this place a 5-star rating all day long. I grew up going here and have taken my own family here several times now. Been going here for at least 30 years. All of the sudden now, they are charging their customers money to bring THEIR OWN FOOD. This has been allowed forever, but now you have to pay money to do so. I respectfully voiced my opinion on a Facebook post of theirs once they announced it, and was almost instantly banned from commenting on any of their posts. It is a shame, but we will not be returning.

If I could leave a ZERO star review, I would! The extremely rude jerk in the golf cart was determined to harass us from the second we parked! We paid for a food permit and he was harassing me because my 3 children were to far away from the car that had the permit! (We had 3 vehicles) He then told us to just leave if we were going to allow the kids to eat at our other vehicle. He then said Im contacting the police on you! Mind you, we never swore, yelled, or said anything disrespectful! We simply questioned all his issues when we were trying to enjoy a family drive in night! WE WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!

This definitely isn’t the place for my family. So last night was our first time ever going here, and we were super excited for the movies Shrek and Back To The Future. We pulled in and the people checking us in were so nice which added to our excitement, we parked and we were early so we’re getting ourselves situated and then we met “golf cart man” who came speeding around and scolds us for having our car on, we were a little shocked that we were going to have to sit in 85+ degree weather in our car when every other drive in we’ve ever been to we used our AC but we’re like okay, we’ll get over it. 5 minutes later we decided it would be best to open all of our windows and sunroof which meant the car needed turned on for just a minute (mind you it was like 8:30 and the movie wasn’t starting till after 9 o’clock) he came back around to scold us again, it was seriously on for a few seconds and back off. Then he was driving around scolding people with their trunks open because apparently that’s not allowed there either. It’s like the two best parts of a drive in are 1. You can sit in your own car as hot or cold as you like it or 2 you can open up the trunk and lay down and snuggle up with your family... welp not here. Sadly, we left once Shrek was over.I gave it a 3 star instead of a one because - the bathrooms were super clean, and all of the other staff was friendly... golf cart man needs a little extra customer service training.

The overall experience here is great. The food is pretty affordable and there are many options to choose from. It was my first time at a drive in and it was enjoyable. The one thing I wish would change is the fact that people are allowed to smoke. I had people smoking on both sides of me. I don’t want to smell or inhale smoke during my time at the movies and I don’t believe that makes a good environment for children. I myself am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and tend to get headaches from the smell. I wish it was a non smoking place or there was at least a smoking section.

My story is very similar to a lot of other ppl’s stories and centers around one man. He’s been referred to by many names. The old man in the golf cart, rude guy in the golf cart, ect. I’ve come to find out that he’s the owner.I live in Boston, Ma and my parents live in Athens, Oh. Last week my family and I traveled over for our family reunion. We had planned on staying in town for a week and one thing I really wanted to fit in was a trip to the drive-in(I hadn’t been to one since I was very young). My 2 nieces, my nephew and I all jumped in the car and drove over, I was beyond excited. Just like everyone else, upon arrival I was given an orange flyer. I honestly didn’t pay attention to the color at first, I saw a great spot so I parked. That’s when I was approached by ‘He who should not be named’.“You were given an orange flyer?” he asks.“Oh, ya I guess I was.” I responded.“Well, that’s white.”Now, don’t get me wrong. It’s not what he was saying, it’s how he said it.Most business owners would have approached us and politely told us why the color system is important(again, I percent get it). Instead he did something that seems to be a pattern with this guy, he talked down to me and tried his best to make me feel stupid.I kept my cool and we moved way in the back, we made the best of it. As my niece is trying to park closer to the speaker he drives by again and stops right in front us of.“Make sure you pull up close to that speaker.” he says.At this point I couldn’t hold it in any longer.“I need to say something, I felt you were very condescending just now.”He tries his best to rebut.I fire back “What if I was color blind and actually didn’t realize the difference? You were very rude and you need to work on that.”I looked over at my nieces and nephew who clearly looked impressed that I was standing up for us all He told me “you all can leave if you want.”I told him “no, let’s agree to disagree.”He drove off.Other than that, the drive-in was great, it’s just what I had pictured. The issue was, I couldn’t shake that feeling the rest of the night. Like we weren’t welcome. Our last interaction of the night came at intermission when I was taking a picture of the screen. I look up from my phone and again he’s there, sitting on his golf cart.“So you’re aware, taking video is considered pirating and it’s a federal offense” he informs me.I just stood there, looking confused as he drove off.I could write so much more but my fingers are starting to hurt.Bottom line, I was highly disappointed. I hope he reads this, takes a long look in the mirror and realizes that management like this pushes people away. There’s a whole generation of kids who have never been to a drive-in theater and if he continues to treat people like this they never will. But hey, the Nachos were good!

My family now goes almost exclusively to Cinemark because we simply dont have time to watch movies we dont care to see!Food from the concession stand is of fairly nice quality.

Took our kids to see the lion king last night. As soon as we parked an old man in his golf cart drove up and firmly asked at us to move our truck (also the people next to us). We gladly moved it since it was our first time and we werent completely sure about positioning. He came back 2 more times to tell us to move again, but never stayed long enough to actually confirm we were in the correct spot. He came back once again to tell at the guy next to us for sitting on the cab of his truck. Turns out he is the owner and kind of a jerk (understatement). As soon as the movie started, the terrible sound quality from the speakers became noticeable. If the owner hadnt been such a jerk I probably wouldnt have minded but he already ruined things.Get rid of the owner hes a jerkMaybe go to the fun barn instead :/
