Absolutely excellent! It was a rainy day and I wanted to take my kids to do something and not have to worry about social distancing and everything else going on. We reserved our seats ahead of time and ended up having the entire back row to ourselves due to the seating arrangement of the theater to provide distancing. The theater was incredibly clean and had sanitizer stations everywhere, which as a nurse, I really appreciated! We ordered our food and I stopped by the bar to order a beer (excellent prices on alcohol!) and then we went to our seats. Our food was delivered in less than 20 mins and was really good. I got the wedge salad and seasoned fries, my kids got the chicken finger meal, the bbq bacon burger, and the pulled pork sandwich. They all ate everything and said it was delicious! Staff was incredibly friendly - I had my hands full walking to the theater and a staff member got up out of her seat to walk with me just to open the door for me. Definitely would recommend!!

Made-for-you grilled, fried, or wood-fired food, regular cinema fare (popcorn, soda, and candy) (all of which you can enjoy while watching your movie), and cocktails in the lobby to boot... and thats just the start. Enter the cinema... speakers abound, hi-def, thundering surround... reclining, heated (if desired) leather seats, all served in a clean, friendly atmosphere. Yep, you have a return customer here. Hopefully it remains this way, unlike most theaters in the area. Just remember, like most theaters today, dont forget your wallet. Youll definitely need it. Gone, generally, are the days of cheap seats. Give Reel a shot. Youre not likely to regret it.

The only theater you can have dinner drinks and a movie

Its finally back open after COVID. I love this theater. Big comfy heated reclining seats. A bar with fresh new craft beer. A stocked cocktail bar. Pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc... delivered to your theater seat. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. Ive been to movie theaters all over the world and this one is the best.

I agree with the other review who said they felt like they should rate it lower to keep it a secret haha my husband and I decided spur of the moment to give it a try and we loved it! We loved the fact that you could order more than typical movie food. The staff was really nice and the place was very clean. It was a super enjoyable experience all around! Highly recommend it!

I feel like I should rate this lower to keep this place a secret. Other theaters are definitely going to have to step their game up because this place is no joke. More comfortable then watching movies at home, and to me thats saying something. Being served food and being able to bring a bar drink into the theater is only a couple of the great ways this place sets itself apart. Its a smaller place, so expect a wait if your ordering food, but I was impressed with the speed of the line. Keep it up!

Great experience. Its a perfect date night for anyone with young kids. Doing dinner and a movie with can be a 4+ hour date, which is difficult find childcare for. But having dinner while at the movie is fantastic. The food was excellent. I had the BBQ bacon cheddar burger. Free refills on fountain drinks. Seating in the lobby. The theater was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Having heated seats and your food brought right to you are such nice touches. The sound is epic.

Everything was really good. The seats were very comfortable. Food was alright. The price of the tickets were great actually, but the food price was horrible. I could get a soda and a popcorn for cheaper at a different movie theater. 1 soda cost $6.50. And the cup wasn’t that big. And the popcorn was also $6 and that’s a lot just for the medium bag that they gave us. When the lower the food prices is when I will come back. If you really want to spend most of your money on the food then be my guest.

Understanding that they are in a soft-opening phase -- working out the kinks -- our experience was excellent. Ordered tickets online -- that went smoothly. Plenty of parking in a well-lighted, easy-in, easy-out lot. Picked up tickets at the snack bar -- no issues (clerk in training). Cant comment on food -- we didnt get any. Found our seats. And, after a bit of hit or miss, figured out how they work. Comfortable experience. Great movie. Good price. Only complaint ... The theatre was pretty cold. The heated seats helped!!

The screen and sound are awesome! Seats recline and theyre heated. The seats are kind of small and Im an average size guy but theyre comfortable.The food was expensive. I had a pizza that was average and my wife and son has burgers and fries. They enjoyed their food but the wife didnt think the price was justified.

It would have been a five star but we watched Tenet and the sound was so loud and uncomfortable. And coming from a person who suffers from hearing loss thats pretty loud! Even the people behind us said the same.

The movie experience was spectacular. Great seating. Great visuals. There are only 2 reasons Im leaving this at 4 stars rather than 5. First, it took about 20 minutes before our food was delivered. This is fine, and overall made it last longer throughout the movie, but I would have preferred to know that beforehand, as I spent the first 20 minutes of the movie worrying whether or not the staff had forgotten about my order. Secondly, prices are a little too high, but it is understandable that this may be necessary due to external factors that I cannot be aware of. That being said, I still found dishes I would consider to be snacks to approach the cost of a full meal at a fast food restaurant, and while it was good Im not sure if it was that good. Still, I will definitely return again. Great theater overall.

Ok seriously would come back just for the bartender. She was belting out Disney tunes and getting a group of us into a deep analytical discussion about the pros and cons of the new live action movies. The drinks were great as well but we had a hard time getting up from the bar to go see the actual movie as we were so engaged and entertained.My girlfriend and I stopped by on the way home to watch birds of prey (I live 2 hours from here but was visiting someone) and I will seriously be making sure to go back as often as I am in the area.

Theyre still in the soft open phase. The food was delicious with HUGE portions. The seats were cozy and heated. Prices are similar to just going to a regular restaurant and then to a movie, just with less steps!! The staff was also fabulous and very engaging. Cant wait to go back when theyve really got their footing.

Took my wife and son here for the first time, has an amazing evening. We saw the Invisible Man and my son said it was the best movie and time he has had in a long while. I really enjoy that they bring the food right to you and the seats are heated and the burgers are fat

The actual theatre was very nice. Heated reclining seats are a plus, especially in the winter. There is plenty of space between rows so you dont encroach on others space, even when fully reclined. It was not super crowded.The food, however, was not very good. We had pizza and the flavor was not great. I would pay those prices for a better product. Popcorn was also not stellar. We would go again just for the film.

Great experience. The prices are little bit expensive but the amenities made up for it. Pizza was great, loaded fries was OK...great selection of beer on tap and I like the fact they deliver to your seat. Great date night; however they turn off the bathroom lights with people still in it at 12am...whats up with that?

The Burger King but I ended up eating it with my hands.my wife wanted a chicken salad but it came without any chicken. Their concession stand has great food choices and if the item you order takes more time to prepare, they will bring it to your seat inside the theater. Great concept. Nice modern theater. It has great amenities like heated seats! I would go back. Its a bit more expensive than other places in the area but you pay for what you get. There are no other dine in theaters that I know of in the area too!

The heated seats were nice. Some of the foods were not available due to lack of resources for the night. The burgers were mediocre for the price (I could get a premium burger from Red Robin for the same price, if not less, just saying), mine was actually slightly burnt at the edges. I dont mind paying a little more for food since it is a movie theater, but could do better on the quality. They also didnt quite get my order right (nothing major).Movie-wise the screen is pretty good size, audio was good (Im not an audiophile). The seats were comfortable, and nice to have heating on the back.My only thought on the movie experience was at the end the lights came up to full bright as soon as the movie ended. Our eyes need some time to adjust from dark to bright, as a lighting designer, I suggest a slower fade-up.Ive noted the owner actively involved in responding to these reviews, Im sure Ill come back again and try out different foods.

Very clean (its new... but still), employees were very nice. Helped me with ticket printing (bought ahead and didnt realize you still have to print them when you get there). Was a Sunday 12:15 showtime.... we did have 2 others show up before our movie started but was empty for awhile! We didnt utilize the food or bar, but it looked nice and reasonably priced. We did get typical movie concessions (popcorn, soda) and prices are same as any other theatre. Picture and sound was very good. Was my little girls first movie theatre experience. She thought it was a little loud at times, but otherwise very much enjoyed!

First night open to the public. We were looking for a unique experience. I had heard there was food, so we did not eat before we went. They were not set up to serve meals yet. All they had currently is popcorn and candy. There is a small bar, but Im.not a drinker. I was very disappointed. The movie was good, and the seats were heated.. Currently its just an other theater. I will try again later when there is food at the concession stand.

I did enjoy visiting this establishment, although I kind of wish their seats were more stadium style not as low as they are, theyre not bad, in fact they are better than others, but, you kind of feel low due the being used to other theaters seats.Their reel max (RM) screens are in fact a bit larger than regular screens and the quality of the picture is excellent, the sound is very good, I suppose depending on the type of movie its supposed to be great and I dont doubt it may be, due to the placement of the speakers throughout the theatre/theater.The only part I didnt like is that you have to pickup the tickets at the kiosk when you pay online, unlike Fandango, that you get your tickets on your mobile or email, thats a nuisance and a waste of time, not to mention more maintenance for a device.Overall, even though is a small movie theatre, so far Im liking their crisp laser projection, I was baffled at the quality of it, the details pop up its almost real, price? Well! Nothing is cheap anymore, but I believe you get what you pay for.So far, Ill keep on visiting and did recommend it.

This was by far the worst movie theater experience Ive ever had. They have major difficulties with operating as a theater and lack any ounce of customer service. We showed up 15 minutes before our showtime and I guess the theater was having electrical problems due to a storm. We purchased our tickets beforehand, but none of the kiosks were working to pick them up. The staff wouldnt allow anyone to enter the theaters with their confirmation emails, so we waited in line for 40 minutes to pick up the tickets we already purchased. We had to forget about any possibility of food because that line was out the door as well. Hopefully understanding that there were electrical and technical difficulties, I would have assumed that they would have waited until everyone was seated to begin movies. We missed the first 30 minutes of our movie because of waiting in line to pick up our purchased tickets. I then spent the entire movie getting kicked in the arm by a small girl (which easily counteracts the comfortability of the heated recliners). We left our showing and none of the staff were helpful in hearing our complaints or frustration. Was not offered a refund or voucher or discount or apology. I really wanted to love this theater; but, operational-difficulties aside, they dont seem remotely invested in providing a great customer experience. Would give zero stars if I could.

Came to the movie right from work hungry and expecting food (since this is what makes it unique from other theaters) and their cook staff didnt show so there is no food. The lady at the front was very nice and asked her manager if we could grab food and bring it back to eat during the movie and she said no and told us the mall has a food court for after your movie. Explained that we are hungry now and there isnt enough time to go eat before the movie. She was very unhelpful. Heated seats are nice but otherwise it is just like any other theater.

This place was awesome. The seats were heated and recline. And on tuesdays the movie is $6. I loved it here and really enjoyed seeing Frozen 2 with my sisters.

Nice theatre but it did not live up to the expectation in terms of experience and service. I think everyone is familiar with movie tavern and the way they serve you throughout the movie. So the biggest disappointment was realizing that yes you can eat and drink there but you do have to get up and down throughout the movie if you need or want anything. So if you plan on eating during your movie and want to order before just prepare yourself to stand in line for a very long time. Because everyone has the same idea. Hopefully they reevaluate their experience or try visiting the movie tavern to see their service during a movie. I think people wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else at that point.

I will not be returning to this theater. They should consider improving their SAD customer service.

There are always hiccups with a new business opening, but the staff is A+, and they are working to make it the best experience. Clean, great concessions, and again awesome staff. Recommend as the best theater in Lancaster.

Really disappointed in this place. The commodity of it is that its a theater that has a bar in it, right? At least thats what made me choose it over the many other theaters in the area. The first movie I went to was in the afternoon of a weekday (we work weekends) with some friends. We were disappointed to not only find out they dont open the bar until later in the day, but the employee at the concessions who informed us very obviously judged us by saying Most people dont drink until night time, especially on week days soooooo..... Thanks for making us feel ashamed for wanting to enjoy a beer during a 3 hour movie on our day off.I still gave it a second chance after that because I did enjoy the seats (roomy recliners with seat warmers). My boyfriend and I wanted to come to a noon movie on a Sunday. (No intentions of trying out the bar this time haha) We were walking up to the theater from the parking lot at 11:35 and an employee came out and turned us away, saying that they wouldnt open for 15 more minutes..... So they open 10 minutes before their first showing?! And we cant wait in the lobby? We got back in our car and drove straight to Penn Cinema. We wont be back.I feel like both of these grievances could have been really easily avoided with communication. Put your hours (or a note that says you dont open until 10 minutes before you first show.... Still seems ridiculous but at least youre communicating) on the front door. Have a sign in the lobby as you walk in with your bar hours or better yet, have those on your website and your door as well.

If I could give it no stars I would. The food was absolutely awful! Nachos and potato skins that didnt come out as ordered and staff that half heartedly tried to correct the mistake. The food was very bland and cold. Food runners couldnt find our seats to deliver the food. The staff didnt seem to communicate well and it is obvious there is no competent leadership. We were told our theater was still being readied for the next show. We waited ten minutes and were told we could go take our seats only to be told by another staff member that it wasnt ready. That staff member seemed annoyed with his coworker and the whole situation was uncomfortable. I watched one of the kitchen staff wash the latex gloves that she was wearing. Not wash her hands and put new ones on...WASHED THE GLOVES! Again, no clear leadership. Everything seemed very hurried and slap-dash. I do not recommend this place and we will not be returning.

This review is for the builders and the Owners of this place - NOT the employees.1.) The theater rooms are smaller than your average movie theater. Thats not the problem, though. The developer and owner decided to cram as many seats in there as possible by making them narrow. They are recliner and they do have heat. However, Im not a big person and I didnt have much room on either side of me. For the average male, he will feel cramped and will most likely hog your armrest too since they are narrow, too.Poor design: all for the cost to save a buck.2.) Poor business policy to allow delivery of food orders to be brought to their seat DURING a movie. Not the previews - the movie!!We paid $25 to have our movie interrupted several times by employees delivering food and interrupting the movie. Im assuming they ordered on their phone or maybe went out and it wasnt ready? But please dont deliver it; it ruins the experience for everyone behind that person getting the delivery.I understand youre trying to be unique and offer something others do not.☆☆☆☆ And maybe as an alternative for everyones viewing pleasure, cut off delivery of food once the movie starts.Please note, this is NOT a negative review for the employees. Theyre just doing their job and following orders from the Companys poor business policy.

To start, only 1 of the 3 ticket machines worked. We went to order our food of which there were only a few items available of their whole menu. We waited 45 min to an hour for our food to be delivered, we went to check and they forgot my order. We then wait a good 20 min (normal wait time if it wasn’t the second time I had to order) only to discover my chicken fingers were raw (and I ate a part of it). Our cheesesteak was the wrong order and they forgot my fries. The movie was good though! Chairs comfy. But now I’ll wait for the next two weeks to see if get sick. Expected much more.

Made reservations through Fandango and they didnt receive it. Good thing I had my reservation code. Food was too high priced.

First I wait in line forever to buy my ticket, because the machines werent working right. Then I go to the bar to have a drink and order some food. Turns out I have to order food from the concession stand. I go back to the concession stand to order food and the registers were not working at all. After looking at my credit card statement, I saw that my card was charged twice. I got the refund, but this many issues before I get in to see the movie is just unacceptable!

If you buy your tickets online, you still have to go to the kiosk to print them. To me, this is a flaw. Why should you have to print tickets twice? The theater is silent until movie time. Many things different from the other two theaters in the area. Even heated recliner seats are narrower than the competitors.

I thought the theater was nice. The only thing I did not like was the wait staff was serving people food and talking to them during during the movie which was distracting. They should cut off serving once the movie starts. Not sure if I will go back or not. It happened twice within the first 20 minutes of the movie. Prices for food and drinks are also very expensive.

Went to see Joker this past weekend. The upside was that the seats were INCREDIBLY comfy, and even had seat warmers!! The downside was that you are unable to lift up the armrest between seats. I dont see how this theater stands out from other theaters in the area, so Im not sure if I would visit again.

Honestly wasnt impressed, the feel and layout when coming in were a bit confusing and no one takes the time to explain anything to you. The smell of weed followed us from the parking lot into the theater. Do not like that you dont have the option to choose your seating with space in between (as Im sure they want to fill every seat but our theater space was not full) and the spaces in between seating are not as spacious as other theaters. We had to get our tickets from the machine on the wall so theres no one available to address questions or concerns. I also never liked the idea of alchohol being served in movie theaters as this should be a family oriented experience as well (lots can go wrong with that kind of atmosphere). The customer service was ok. I did enjoy the heated reclining seats but overall dont think this would be a place I would come to often or at night.

Overall it was a cool concept, friendly staff. Heated reclining seats, current movies. You order your food and they bring it to you whats not to love?Well I went 2 weeks in a row I saw Bad Boys 3 the first week and 1917 the second week (both great movies). Walked in and used the very easy to use kiosks to get my tickets. After that i hit the little cocktail area where they had (I think I counted 7 or 8) beers on tap a variety of everything from IPAs to stouts mixed drinks and bottle beers priced at what you would expect maybe a bit higher. Walked up to a separate food counter and we ordered a mushroom swiss burger an order of loaded nachos and a personal pizza they took our seat number and said the food would be delivered. And the issues began. It took about 15-20 minutes to get the food. a couple errors that required me to get up and basically miss about 10-15 minutes of the movie I left a little upset about that. The second week we ordered the same thing. The food looked nothing like the food we ordered before smaller portions of one thing and larger portions of other things. Overall what I would reccomend is stick to the basics popcorn and a cocktail and dont ruin your experience by getting the food.Now to cost: my friend and I went he got 2 drinks I got 2 drinks the loaded chicken nachos, pizza, burger, 2 tickets put us back about 60 bones each.They get 3/3.5 stars from me because of the food issues causing me to miss part of the movie on 2 occasions in 2 separate weeks.

My first visit to this theater today in the afternoon on the Friday after Christmas. One guy and I enjoyed a big theater to ourselves since everyone else was out exchanging gifts. So i did not experience what its like when the theater is full and food keeps getting delivered during the movie. Dont think I would like that.Im a small 5, 110 lbs. The seats were very comfortable for ME. The other theater has huge seats which leave my legs dangling. But these are not so deep that I cant sit upright in my seat, which I prefer to reclining. The seats are well padded and they are heated. Very comfortable. I know, I know. Not everyone is a child-sized adult. LOLTwo issues so far:One is that the row numbers are on the side of the end seat on the aisle down below so that you cant read them standing up. (Bifocals) The seat numbers were on the front of the arms--also hard to read standing up and difficult to determine which seat the number belongs to.Two, When the previews started, the overhead lights were turned off, but there are several 4-ft long LED strip lights on each side wall which stayed on throughout the previews, which was hard on the eyes and made the screen look faded. I thought they would go off when the movie started, but 5 minutes into the movie, I went out to ask if this is normal. I was told they would look into it, and by the time I got back to my seat, the lights were off.After that, I had a pleasant time watching a very good movie.Other reviews say you have to print your pre-ordered tickets at the kiosk and there are only 3. I would really be annoyed by that on a busy day.

None of registers working. Waiting in line for 1 hour for food that never came. Ordered tickets online and I could not use them to get in. Had to get a manager to let me into the theater. None of screens worked. Worst experience I have ever had in a movie theater. Avoid at all costs.

I hated this place, because I drove from Harrisburg, about a 35 minute drive. The bar was closed and they were not bringing a bartender in. They were out of chocolate cake :(

Wonderful place to watch a movie. Great food, service, and seating.

Smallest, narrowest seats of any theater I’ve been to. Think budget Southwest Airlines, amd every seat is a middle seat. Bad choice of seats for a brand new theater!Also, get a counter for the snack area. There is now place to sit your drink to put on a lid, or set your popcorn down.

Today my husband and I went to Reel Cinema to see Little Women. The movie was very good, the experience was very disappointing.Even with pre-purchased tickets through Fandango we had to wait on a long and slow concession stand line for someone to try to figure out how to print tickets for us. It took him three attempts to succeed at getting the printed tickets. Hopefully the staff will be retrained in how to do this and entry will be separated from concession purchases so those who purchase tickets in advance do not have to wait in those lines.Then we went to the theatre and people were sitting in our assigned seats. I showed the tickets to the staff person in the theatre and her response was “Oh it is fine, you can sit anywhere. The whole back row is empty and the handicapped seating is free sit there.” I pointed out that someone may have purchased those seats and I did not want to sit there, I had selected and purchased the seats I wanted to sit in. Then She said they don’t sell seats in handicapped row unless someone has a wheelchair, but she would go check to see if they are available. She acted as if I was being unreasonable. She never came back to the theatre after verifying which seats were available, and by this time the movie had started. For the record the correct action is for the staff person to ask to see the tickets for the people in the wrong seats, and show them to their assigned seats. We were stuck in seats I never would have purchased, and half way through the show my neck was hurting from having to look up so much to see the screen. This seat nonsense NEVER happens in other local movies (PENN or REGAL). Fortunately we have choices, and I will never set foot in Reel Cinema again.There are also sound insulation issues between theaters. The noise from Star Wars sometimes drowned out the dialogue in Little Women.I also wonder what lines in rest rooms will be like on a busy weekend afternoon or evening. It looks to me that there might be issues, there were long lines in the ladies room on a Tuesday afternoon.My advice to others, if you care about where you sit and/or sound quality choose PENN or REGAL, not REEL.

Went last night with my fiancé to see doctor sleep, best staff ever ! The food was great and you can drink alcohol in the theatre .... greatest movie theatre ever.

Very nice seats and screens. Still working out a few of the kinks as a new location, but otherwise a great option for movies in Lancaster.
