We showed up for a tee time we made thorugh Groupon. I was informed rudely there was no way this was true even when i showed the confirmation. A) do not use third party sites for deals if your system cant handle it and B) when you realize the person has proof then try to be accommodating. Dan Edward was the man at the desk and he offered no alternatives and then just left me to help the next guess.Update after response: my main gripe wasnt as much the snafu but the lack of any follow up. Contrary to the reply here i was not offered to wait. I awkwardly hung around hoping to hear options but finally got frustrated and left. I added a star for taking the time to respond.

Played this course on June 13th. Course is in great shape. Staff was great and understanding. Had an evening tee time and one of our 4 was running 20 minutes late and we were never rushed or forced to start without him. Great fun and relaxing time.

Course in very nice shape. A tad pricey and snack bar was closed due to overreacting to Covid-19. Still a 4 Star

Great course! My brother and I played for the first time and both enjoyed it. The greens were in great shape. Really the entire course is in great shape. We will definitely be back soon.

Thanks to the owner for reaching out. I would recommend scheduling tee times further apart. Our round started 20 minutes (or more) after it was scheduled. Your rules state that if a group is holding up play, they will be asked to move forward a hole or two. From what we were told, two foursomes about six holes ahead of us had two holes empty in front of them. Simply enforce your own rules to make it a more enjoyable experience. This is one of the largest issues affecting the growth of golf. I dont care if youre terrible, but hit it and move on please. If courses would penalize the ones who create these type back ups, we would see them less and less.

Fantastic 18 hole course. Better shape fairways and greens than expensive ones closer to Charlotte.

Very nice golf course. The staff is very friendly and the course is usually in great shape. A couple of greens had some rough spots but the pins were placed where those spots shouldnt come into play. I love playing here.

One of my favorite courses. Never disappointed. Greens are receptive, but fast, fairways are hard to hit, sand is consistent throughout the course. Snack bar staff is friendly as is the golf course staff. Really challenges your iron play, you have to hit fairways or you bring bogey or worse into play. I play here a couple times a month.

Greens were fast not grass on them fairways wet. Had a lot of rain all in all good rounf

The course is beautiful and in great condition. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Lancaster is the best-kept secret in the area. I highly recommend the entire experience.

This course is well maintained. Tee boxes, fairway and sand traps are good. The greens are excellent. They roll fast and are undulating. They have plenty of water and even and island green. Fun course easy and challenging holes. Club house is dated, pro shop is very limited.

Greens are in great shape, tough course, but fun

I called the Pro Shop to make a practice round tee time for my 9 year old son because he is signed up to play in a junior tournament the following week at this club. I was told I did not need a tee time, but just to Come on down and Bernie would take care of me. Once we arrived and checked into the pro shop, the guy working again told me there was no need to make a tee time, my son could go out and practice and come in when he was ready. We went out to the driving range and I found out from the tournament director that we would be playing the back 9, so I went back into the pro shop to let them know and was AGAIN, assured that it wouldnt be a problem and they could squeeze him in anytime. I told him that we would be in the practice area and could go off anytime in the next hour. My son and I came back up to the pro shop and were told that we could head on out and the fellow working pointed us to where the number 10 tee box was. Once I got outside the starter told us, You can ABSOLUTELY NOT go off the back 9. We are backed up already! I tried to explain that my son plays quickly and we could easily get off before the next group (which was a foursome) was even to the tee box but he argued and told me there was NO WAY. One of the rangers that had been in the pro shop and overheard the guy working tell us to go on out, tried to tell the starter that to which he replied, I dont care what he said, Im the starter! Then as we were taking the clubs off the back of the cart to drive the 1 hour back to Charlotte, he felt the need to again come over and tell me for the 2nd time that we could NOT go off the back nine. I told him I understood him the first time, but he did not stop. As we got back to our car to leave, the ranger that had overheard the argument felt the need to follow us to the car to tell us it was, Sorry, but it was not his fault. We have played MANY of the courses in the Charlotte area and Springs Golf Group and have never seen such unprofessionalism and rudeness.

Played today and LOVED it. The greens make this worth the price. They are very quick and that brings in a players ability to read them properly into play. You really dont have many places to get into trouble on this course so if you can putt, the opportunity to score is there. The staff is very friendly and its evident that the course is well maintained. It almost has a county club feel. Very small pro shop and snack area but you can call ahead from the 9th tree and your order will be waiting we you arrive. (Nice touch). Definitely worth the rate. One of the best in the area in my opinion.

Nice course for the money, Im sure they dont have a big budget and I think the maintenance crew does a great job with what they are given!!!! People have to remember you get what you pay for!!! If the maintenance budget is bigger the course is better thats just the way it is!!! Great job guys

Go play. New champion bermuda greens are really nice**Update**Go play somewhere else. They spent the dollars to change the greens from bent to champion Bermuda, and then the care for those greens has diminished over the past couple of years. Greens are very inconsistent.Still a great course layout, just the conditions have deteriorated, imo.

Good course layout. However, its extremely overpriced for what it is. A course in lancaster, sc should not be 50 bucks to play. The greens always have some dead spots and the course gets very dry in the summer. Its a good course, but Leroy Springs thinks its grade A quality and it simply is not. But its a fun one to play if you have the money to spare.
