Not so busy as is usually the case. The course plays much better as a dry track. When wet, like most, it becomes a bit unplayable. The staff wants masks worn when in the clubhouse and offers one if you come in sans the face thong.

Rude ManagementWent with a couple friends earlier today for the first time, club manager was already mad as soon as we walked in the door. We had booked a tee time, and paid for the guest fee since there were 5 of us. Club manager was very strict and didnt let us play a 5-some, so we split up 2 and 3. So we asked if we could just take two golf carts instead then and seat 3 in one. He snapped back and said Well no theres 5 of you, you need to take 3 carts. We just agreed and went on to tee. Got to around Hole 9 and caught up with the others so we just decided to play a couple holes together anyways. Mower called the manager and the guy came over very hot-headed. Yelled at a bunch of teenagers for playing golf and threatened to kick us off the course and give no refund. Later came down around Hole 13 and scolded us for being close to each other again even though we would wait our turn and let them finish the hole. I didnt bring my own set of clubs as it was my second time ever golfing, so I borrowed clubs from my friend in the same cart. The thing that really irked me was that he rode up to us and scolded us for having two people in the cart and only one set of clubs. I asked him well what happens if I dont have my own set, he replied Well then you dont play golf! We just ignored it and finished playing. Course was fine but the management made the overall experience poor. Wouldnt come back unless we got some sort of deal on a price.

Had a great inexpensive afternoon. The fairways were great and greens in great shape.

This is a great course for the money. It is a very friendly course if you can hit the ball straight. Only bad thing I have to say is I picked the wrong day because it started to down poor about half way through 18. Great place with friendly and helpful staff.

Great course for the price . Been playing here for years. Only down fall is there use to be a very pleasant older gentleman at the club house. Now the guy at the check in is a hateful jerk. For that reason alone I would recommend maybe you try Dead horse instead.

Was pretty fun to play here. Today it was a dollar more for 18 holes than it was for 9. Other than the jerks that teed off into us it was a nice place.

The guy running the pro shop with the white hair and mustache is a jerk. Wouldn’t let my wife ride with me this morning. After river islands let us all double up carts on Friday and Williams Creek has been letting anybody who lives/rides together ride in the same cart. It’s in my backyard but won’t be back until he’s gone

This place has great friendly staff and the course is in great shape. Fairways and greens are all well maintained. Cant beat the price eirher

Had a great time! The app is pretty neat and the course was great for a busy day. Greens were about a moderate speed today.

Greens are pretty nice condition and there are some definite challenges. Lots of hills. There seemed to be a lot of dry patches, but nothing to out of the ordinary for the weather weve been having. Reasonable cost. My only issue is lack of nice amenities.

Dont waste your time or $. The best thing there, is the snack bar. The course stinks. Needs a lot of TLC.

Nice course and layout surrounded by beautiful mountains and mature trees. We drove back from Florida and decided to stop and play 18 to break up the trip. Nice staff and challenging holes.

No bunkers or really punishing roughs but its a fun course.

HORRIBLE experience there!! Guy at the desk in pro shop was rude from the get go! Don’t recommend course to anyone! The fairways aren’t even worth the drive.

The course was in better shape than the last time I went but its still not in good shape they still have crab grass trying to grow on the greens I booked online for $30 dollars a piece and I downloaded thier app to get the $5 off coupon but then they wouldnt honor it said I already got a discount by booking online $30 too much to pay for this course whittle springs slot nicer course less money and they will honor your coupons disappointed with my experience

Great place to swing the clubs. Really like the staff and pro-shop. Course is typically well cared for but i have been there for a few rounds when the greens were a little beat up (I assume from players not taking care).

Okay first I want to say if you want to putt on these greens good luck! Absolutely full of crab grass on every green. Then we teed off at 4pm on front nine. Hole number one is a long par 5 and hole 2 is long par 4. Once we got to the green on hole 2 it was 4:40 pm, also mind you we had 3 people playing. The guy working there told us we had to hurry up because it took us almost an hour to play two holes and the carts had to be back in at 8pm. So that gives us 3 hours and 20 minutes to play 7 more holes??!!!!... pretty sure golf is a slow sport and you shouldnt be rushed! Absolutely ridiculous plus we had people in front of us. Will never play there again

I would have rated this higher but I feel that I was ripped off. I am a senior and teed off on a Wednesday in the blazing heat after 1 pm. Charged me $30 and this rate was higher than several senior rates in Knoxville. How disappointing

We took a road trip and needed to get out of the car. This place was conveniently located for us. It was in the afternoon, on a holiday weekend, and we were able to get right on the course! The staff was extremely friendly. The course was perfect for me (a beginner) and my friend (an experienced golfer) The course was clearly marked. The greens were in great shape. The price cant be beat! If this were close to our home, we would play this course regularly! Great experience!

The guy you have working tonight by the name of Matt is terrible. He brought us in saying we couldn’t finish playing 18 after we teed off and still had 30 minutes left of daylight. The people working here are usually amazing but this guy must have had more important matters to tend to other than doing his job.

Staff were friendly and assisted folks as needed. We were here for a junior match and the cart rental was by far the most reasonable of any course weve visited for 18 holes. Course was clean and well taken care of in terms of clubhouse, fairways and greens. Golfers must be able to play straight as the fairways are tree lined and a little narrow compared to most courses.

Very nice staff, the driving paths have been repaired and new contrary to other reviews. Leave your driver in the car because the coarse is short, narrow and challenging. The par 5s are reachable with a 3 wood and is a lot of fun. The only negative is dealing with the answering service to make a tee time. Be prepared to give them your life story for a security clearance to access the club. They really need to simplify the process!

Greens could have used some work since they had Johnson grass on them in places put despite some bumps on them putted well. Rates were very reasonable and stagg friendly.

Some of the greens have crab grass on them. And your ball bounces around on the greens. And they are a little to pricey. Charging weekend rates on a holiday that a week day.

Just passing through....hopped off I-75 on our way back to Florida and hubby and I played 18. The folks running the place were so nice....loved the course...lots of fun slopes and hills :). Hope to be able to stop again sometime!

Played today. Course was over crowded, we teed off at 9 even though we had a 8:30 tee time. And then didnt finish until 2:20 with no stopping. There was no one particularly slow group. Just total traffic jam.

Have played this course on and off for years. Always friendly staff and do the best they can to keep the course in best condition possible.

Greens were just punched but overall good course play there often would recommend
