The Emporium is a friend to both artist and those who enjoy viewing a wide variety of art in a relaxed atmosphere. Most of the art on display can be purchased and several artists maintain permanent studios there, so its really cool to be able to chat with them about their work.The Emporium provides an opportunity for local artists to display their work and get their names in front of the public.My only complaint is the normal hours are 9 to 5 Monday through Friday which makes it hard for an awful lot of people to experience the gallery.

Suzanne made the details of getting the venue locked down for our event a breeze. We used the Emporium for our wedding ceremony and reception, and it was absolutely lovely. Only using minimal decor of our own, the gallery spoke for itself. Our guests complimented on how down to earth and cinematic our wedding was... it fit us perfectly.

A nice place to see local art and crafts. The building itself is an interesting venue thats worth stopping in just to look around.

This place is great, give opportunities to tons of artists. Love coming here on first fridays. This past one was off putting though with the whole top floor being pretty demonic. Not normally like that though

We have done two huge Christmas parties here and Suzanne and the team have been amazing. The price is great, the venue is beautiful and they are very easy to work with! We can’t recommend this place and this staff enough!

Beautiful place in the heart of downtown Knoxville. On display are works from local artists, which are available for purchase. It has a very stripped-down urban feel to it. Great events space.

This downtown center is a flexible space for weddings and events. Its the perfect place for intimate gatherings, or large weddings and events!

We went to see the Circle in the City modern dance show. The show was great but the sitting left a lot to be desired. We couldnt see below the waist on the dancers. Especially with modern, you really want to be to see the floor where the dancers spend some of their time...

I recently got married at the Emporium and it was perfect! Suzanne was so helpful leading up to the event and the staff day of was great! Such a beautiful venue and I love that my money was going to support the local arts!

Being able to be a part of this Venue has given me opportunities to display my art and to meet other artists. It is a place with character and a welcoming atmosphere. My favorite person who does So much for the Art Alliance is Suzanne Cada. She is amazing and will help you in any way she can. Her interest and ability to arrange meetings for professional growth has been an asset to us all.

Easy to navigate gallery. Building has tremendous charm which adds to any exhibit. Lots of room and easily divisible so many different exhibits can appear at once and remain distinct from each other. Displays wide range of styles and prices making tremendous purchasing power.

We held our wedding and reception at The Emporium on 6/22/19, and it could not have been more perfect! I was worried the venue was going to be too small (we had around 100 guests) but we had TONS of space. We were able to have our bar, dinner buffet, 8 dinner tables, a DJ booth and 120 chairs for the ceremony all set up simultaneously. Suzanne was so helpful throughout the planning process and very quick to respond to my emails. She allowed us to change our ceremony date AFTER we signed our contract with no problem. The week of, I panicked that I didnt rent the venue for long so enough, so she let me add 2 additional hours. To top it off, our wedding coordinator was able to get the venue cleaned up and turned back over before the time on our contract, so Suzanne gave us back part of our rental fee ( very nice surprise!) I highly recommend!

Interesting stuff, but they were in the middle of a display changeover when we arrived, so it was difficult to appreciate.

Very professional and courteous staff. Gallery features artists with different styles and a variety of media. Competitions are well run and fun to enter.

I had my wedding here in February. The staff was kind and accommodating, and I received many compliments on how beautiful the building looked. Suzanne had great advice and was always available to answer questions. The downtown location is wonderful..theres lots of opportunity for pictures. Unfortunately, we got lots of rain on our wedding day, but we were able to take amazing pictures inside.

We had our wedding reception at the emporium, Suzanne was so helpful and attentive during the entire planning process. The night of was an absolute dream!

First Friday of the month events and receptions were well done. Low key place. You can take your time and walk around the different galleries and studios. I was even able to visit with some of the artists at this event. A good crowd, friendly social place.Some of the art is for sale and some is not depending on the artist.

We hosted our Christmas Party here for about 175 people and it was awesome! Suzanne was so great to work with and the whole thing went so smoothly. You can use any vendors youd like and the pricing was great for a group of our size. The art adds flare and decor to the event, plus the twinkle lights they have downstairs are amazing.

Always come here for First Friday, solid rotating artists as well as mainstays. Good fun every month!

I not only enjoy Joy attending events here, but also working them as well for the pour guys. The staff is always courteous and helpful, which is especially great because the space is unique and works well with those that understand how to utilize it. Very grateful downtown Knoxville has a space that provides such a unique experience.

This is a small gallery and always a little more avant-garde, but always worth the time.

I enjoy a good at studio. This place was fine but seemed a little small and only had one main art hallway with a few small areas of the main hallway. The price is great and Im sure you can find some great at work once in a while but it didnt keep my interest for longer than 20 minutes.

My husband and I got married here this year. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Renting the venue was straightforward and not at all stressful. The venue itself was gorgeous and made for a wonderful evening. We couldnt recommend it more strongly.

My daughter had her wedding reception this past Saturday May 5th 2018. I cant say enough good things about the Emporium and Suzanne Cada. From the moment we met and toured the facility to the day of coordination, every was very smooth and easy to plan. The Emporium was the perfect place to host our guest. The facility from the art work to the string lights made it such a festive, beautiful and warm place. Thank you Suzanne for all your work to make this day so special for Allison and Daniel

I attended a banquet/meeting there - artists have individual studios/shops inside, plus there are different art shows within the gallery during the year. Nice gallery to visit.

This was our second year hosting a 100-150 person fundraiser here, and we were once again thrilled with the space and staff. The space is lovely and affordable; the staff were very helpful & communicative prior to and during the event. Well be back again next year!

Checked it out on first Friday. I was amazed at all the variety. You will find something that speaks to you.

A great place to study art, get up close to the Masters, friendly atmosphere and the cafe food is fresh. Dont expect you will be on any quick visit here, because it will pull you in and youre going to want to stay until closing.

There is always plenty to see and there will surely be at least a few pieces that catch your eye.

Premier art center in Knoxville for art shows with local and national artist. Looking is free and awe inspiring to boot.

We reserved the Emporium for my daughters wedding reception. We are disappointed to day the least! The Emporium staff was very disrespectful and rude. The lady ate our food, then bolted in disrupting our evening to yell at our guests that it was time to shut everything down. This was an hour and 15 minutes earlier than what we contracted for. Our guests pitched in and help pack up and we were cleaned up and out the door in 15 minutes. On top of that, the building was hot and had a bad odor. I would not recommend this place to celebrate what is otherwise a very joyous occasion.

My wife and I got married here. It makes for an awesome, unique venue and the staff were very good to us.

1st Friday of each month is an amazing art walk that I always start here. Great to get a little culture in your life.

Beware, if you are in a wheelchair, on crutches, a cane or anything mobility related, there is no actual elevator in the facility. You must go outside and into the apt building next door to go down. Yhere is an elevator that only goes up. From the second floor.
