A hidden Knoxville gem. I walked by several times before making a detour to look at this back alley. It is always open, a little dirty around the edges, but never threatening. The murals are fresh and fascinating, and they change from time to time.The alley is labelled Strong St. on google maps, but it is just an alley. It runs between Wall Ave and Union Ave, half a block from Market Square. Easy to find, although never crowded. Check it out.

Love this place! There is some really good art work on the walls. A bit creepy to go down but its worth it. Right off market square. You cant miss it.

This is one of the coolest hidden treasures weve ever come across. It seems like this was a favorite place for illegal graffiti artists for years when finally someone with an eye for talent came along and said you know what? We can make something beautiful here.. And then they invited local artists to paint murals on the walls. It was a wonder to me that we were the only ones enjoying this alley. We even got to meet one of the artists as she was putting the finishing touches on her latest creation.

If you love unique graffiti art you will enjoy a stroll down this hidden gem! It is an alley nestled between Market Square and Gay Street with plenty of eye candy! It is well lit at night as well.

This unique alley with all of its art is definitely worth checking out when youre in the Market Street area! I took pics of my high schooler for his senior photos there, and they turned out great!

A great place to view some of Knoxville art talent. Each wall is a different surprised and its getting updates pretty frequently.
