My daughter who is 13 next week tried this lovely studio over the summer. She is so excited to start her dance journey. The teachers are wonderful and very caring which is especially helpful for my little anxious one. Plus, they are an inclusive studio for all abilities including Deaf or hard of hearing students. If you have a kiddo who would like to try dance or try a different studio, you won’t be disappointed here

I hadn’t been to a dance studio since I was a child. I recently took a few drop-in Barre classes at Dance Dreamworks and was very impressed. As an adult beginner, they welcomed me with open arms. I was introduced to the frequent dancers and felt really comfortable. The instructor/owner, Miss Amanda was a pleasure to work with! She was patient, informative, and radiated positive vibes to the whole class. Ensuing proper dance etiquette and challenging moves, she found a way to make the class fun and highly enjoyable. You can feel the passion and enthusiasm throughout the studio; from the purple painted walls, to dance memorabilia, and the smiles amongst the dancers. The environment is cozy and clean. This is a great studio for all ages and levels! I highly recommend taking classes at Dance Dreamworks!

I am a recent graduate of Dance Dreamworks and I couldnt be more happy with my experience. I started dancing at Dance Dreamworks about 3 years ago after dancing at a larger studio for 13 years. Although I have only been dancing with DDW for 3 years, I can honestly say that I have grown more as a dancer in the past 3 years than I did in 13 years at my previous studio. When I first came to the Dance Dreamworks everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Over the past 3 years Miss Amanda and Miss Emily have provided me with so many opportunities such as assistant teaching, competitions, dance photo shoots, conventions, dancing at community outreach events, student choreography opportunities, dancing at the Providence Bruins, summer camps and intensives and performing in the annual Nutcracker and showcase (just to name a few). They both go above and beyond for their students to make sure that they get the best dance education possible and that every student gets the attention they deserve. Whether you are 3 or 30, a recreational student or looking for a career in dance, they make sure that there is a place for everyone and that they feel confident in class. They not only educate students on the movements of dance but also the history of dance and terminology which is also very important. Not only are the teachers amazing but so are the students. With it being such a small studio all of the students are close and I have met some of my best friends at Dance Dreamworks. If you are looking for a dance studio to send your son/daughter or are an adult looking to dance I strongly recommend Dance Dreamworks.

Dance Dreamworks works very hard to ensure that all of their students are given the best opportunity to grow and become proficient in the art of dance. Amanda and Emily who run the studio offer so many classes and varieties of dance. They both have a significant background in dance, which truly shines through when speaking with them, and watching them teach. Their dancers are given the opportunity to perform in the community during Christmas, and also visit nursing homes which benefits both the dancers and our seniors, and of course, the Showcase at the end of the season. Both Amanda and Emily have been involved in dance throughout their lives and they bring their expertise to this studio and give it 100%. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

I need to start by saying have no ballet experience but have always wanted to be a ballerina so I was very excited to find a studio that offers adult classes. The instructors were so welcoming and encouraging I am planning on continuing throughout the school year.

Both of my kids have had the privilege of dancing with Dance Dreamworks. They have classes for all ages and all abilities. My daughter was on their competition dance team for two years and even got to compete with a solo that she helped to choreograph. My son has had the opportunity to be in their annual Nutcracker performances as well as participating in their partnering classes. It doesnt mater if you are 5 or 85, if you are a beginner or have danced for years, Dance Dreamworks has a class for you.

I saw Dance Dreamworks Spring Showcase this past June and watched my friends daughter perform after spending her first year taking the beginning classes and I was very wowed! She looked like she had been dancing her whole life! It was honestly the best dance recital I have been to, and my friend has raved about it and the teachers. Im considering taking adult classes and if I do, Ill be signing up here for sure!

This studio is not flexible. My daughter went in to try a class that was mid week. That class was too advanced for her and we were told she needed to take the Saturday class. Saturdays did not work for our schedule, we had other commitments...and I did discuss this, about Saturday, over the phone before we arrived. Bc of this I was ready to just say thank you for trying with us and part ways kindly...and find another studio (with no ill feelings) that fit our schedule. Then we were told to just go ahead and take the mid week class, the class that was too advanced, where my daughter was not comfortable at that level. I parted ways. I had to do right by my daughter. I left with a sorry it didnt work out, we tried attitude. In a matter of a one hour dance class, that did not work for us, my check was not refunded. In order to try the class you had to pay registration fee and pay for the class by month. They did not refund my registration, charged me one class fee for the month (paying for one class was fine, I get it) and cancellation fee. So out of the one hour that I was there...I paid about $100 and was refunded around $40--they deducted registration fee, one class out of the month fee, & cancellation fee. They couldnt be flexible and just say...hey, we understand, sorry it didnt work out...heres your check back. I was only there for 45 minutes to 1 hour to have her try that class. It didnt work out and they refused to be understanding and just return my check. We have danced at 3 studios prior and I have never experienced such cold inflexible people in my life. They were not worth having an argument over it. Even when the dance instructor came out to tell me the class was too advanced she had a bossy, controlling attitude....it was unnerving. The 2 girls that run this place are obviously not genuine people. But hey, if it cost me that much to cut this studio out of our life for good, even for the 1 hour we were there....then it was worth it. Id rather have my daughter dance with kind, positive, flexible and understanding people. Good riddance! Do yourself a favor and run fast & far away from this place....

Amanda and Emily of Dance Dreamworks in Kingston are dedicated individuals, who strive to offer the best studio in the area. They take great care in constructing many classes and levels so every student will fit in and excel to the very best of their abilities. They were voted #1 Readers Choice in Kingston, so as they start their 4th season, any child would be lucky to be a part of this organization.

I have had the privilege for the past three years, to dance the part of Cavelier in Dance Dreamworks production of the Nutcracker. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work with the advanced students in partnering/pas de deux classes. The facility is run professionally, well-organized, with dancers of all ages and skill levels clearly learning a lot, and exceptional training is offered. I have felt welcomed with each visit, and look forward to the productions, whether in them or a member of the audience. The instructors at Dance Dreamworks really care about their students, the dance families, and the education they are providing. Thank you for including me in your shows, I look forward to more in the future!

We are a theater company based in Plymouth that works with students throughout the entire South Shore area, and we refer our students to Dance Dreamworks. After meeting the owner and touring the studio, we knew that DDW was the real deal. We love how they have their new students first focus on the fundamentals of ballet, which we also feel is extremely important for anyone interested in participating in the performing arts. The owners are all-inclusive, welcoming, organized, and work hard to make sure each student gets the training he/she needs. We collaborated with DDW on a few shows this past year and it was amazing to see how much their students LOVED their studio! Just as impressive is DDWs mission to give back to the community and their outreach events are wonderful!
