Beautiful brand new store. The layout makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Very clean and well maintained/stocked. Framing is outrageously over priced for send out work though. Otherwise reasonable pricing throughout the rest of the store.

Needed shirts in a crunch for an order, off sizes. They had what I needed. Good quality, decent price. The staff is always helpful and taking covid seriously put me at ease.

Pens. The right ones arent easy to find. Each brand/size combination embodies a special spot in a spectrum of nuance that spans a variety of characteristics. Getting the right combination of all these variables and a solid drawing experience out of a pen produces a feeling one just cant overstate. Its positively glorious.Michaels is always half out of pens, and hasnt replenished what theyve run out of in months, the slots for the ones I cherish and yearn for perpetually vacant. Lonely with darkness they sit day and night, in this forlorn gulag, stripped of purpose. I cry. We cry together, me and the empty slot.It yearns to give me what I desire, and I yearn for its internal fulfillment. Thats love, people. We cry in memory of slots once teeming with joy, as artists walked about satisfied with armloads of precisely what they need rather than heads fouled by frustration. But no more. Emptiness remains. That is what there is.

The staff was very helpful and the store was clean. Sadly, they use the same SKU code for multiple items so finding specific items isnt always possible. Took a long drive without getting what I went there for. And you cant order wood items online, as they dont ship them.

Always well stocked with everything I need. Always get help finding something when I cant. Every one there is super friendly. There was a guy there with a big red beard he helped the most telling me where everything was and even taking the time out of his work day to walk me over and show me the products.

Great craft store

Well laid-out and generously stocked craft store; on top of which, Michaels isnt Hobby Lobby, so I can feel relatively good about shopping there. Prices are insane and the selection is impressive for a brick and mortar shop. Even if you arent a knitter/crocheter, go and squeeze some yarn skeins - they are *so* soft!

Michaels is a good basic craft store, if youre not looking for something esoteric. More staff on the floor would be helpful. When you do find someone they are very helpful.

I went to Michaels with 2 specific purchases in mind. When I walked into the store 2 employees directed me to where I should find the items I wanted, though they were clearly not familiar with what I was looking for. (Silica sand and epoxy resin) After looking in both places for the items I wanted I couldnt find either and then I couldnt find anyone to help me. I was rather disappointed by their poor selection and variety of products. Sadly, there are so few craft stores in this area Ill reluctantly go back but only because theyre about the only option I have.

Michaels has everything...for any kind of craft. I have grandchildren of different ages, and we can always find something to please each of them. Anything I need for baking projects, needlework or home crafts is there, too. The cashiers are usually very helpful sifting through Michaels many coupons and sale deals. Hours of enjoyment at big savings!

Michaels always has such great deals that always something for my kids to do some of the people that work there and work the classes from the last time that I took a class there there were very rude and inconsiderate but I think other than that it is an amazingly great store and aside for a couple of employees that probably dont like what theyre doing I never have an issue

Its extremely helpful to search available inventory online before making the drive to the store. Furthermore, if the product I find online says it is available at the store, 100% of the time it is in fact in the store.The employees are helpful when you need it but dont hover over you and constantly ask if you need help (unlike a lot of stores).Checking out is always quick and easy. If the line starts to build up, someone always opens another register and gets the line moving.Love shopping here.

The last craft project I did from here was getting clay for DIY deer antlers since we dont have a bone store anywhere near here. Its the only craft store around so what can you compare it to? Its like Wal-Mart. People who work there are incompetent and the selection is what ever makes them the most money.

Online pick up was not easy at the store. Inconveniently located in the very back of the store and disorganized. The system was down and my order was missing items. One I realized while I was there and the other not till I got back home so now I have to back to the store for it.

Kingston, New York is one of the best micheals. Almost everyone is very nice and very helpful... .. I live in San Diego and I hate the micheals in clairemont. Most of the people are uninterested and basically not helpful... I go to it because it is the closest and every year there are the same kind of people. I actually recently stopped going.

What can I say, dis place is great! (Hobby lobby is better)!
