Fun crystal fair there last week

Make sure if you sign your children up for sports you get your money’s worth, the head people are so rude, unprofessional, communication sucks and when you voice your concerns it seems like they’re money hungry and their “volunteers” are never in the wrong. My first and last time ever allowing my child to be apart of Kent Parks. And it sucks because I live in the community, but for this to be my first experience ever it was horrible. The reps do not care about your feelings or if your money is wasted, my child even cried because of the experience at a practice and all the head reps at Kent Parks yelled at me and said “what do you want me to do” and “I can’t go back and fix mistakes hopefully it changes in the future” like seriously. Just sad!People take your child somewhere else or waste your money, your choice.

Good place for craft bazaars

Forgot my lock today, this place has so many homeless people coming in and out that I dont trust leaving my valuables on the bench. In the middle of my shower I was harassed while naked in front of other people for having my items on the shower wall. Doug had me get out of the shower with soap all over myself and remove the items. Then proceeded to lecture me in front of these people hes leading on a tour while I was completely naked. It was humiliating. Anyone know a good attorney?

While their sports program is great. Please tell your coaches that parents should not wear clothing that contains obscene and foul language to practice or at games. This is totally inappropriate and should not be tolerated at any event!

Kent is so lucky to have a facility such as this. Ever since I was a boy I would walk down to the bottom of James Hill and participate in various activities at the sports and recreational facility. From basketball and volleyball to various martial arts and racquetball , yoga and Zumba, so many different events go on here for so many different people that encompass the very demographics that Kent has to offer.

This, I believe, is a local gem and one of Kents best kept secrets.I didnt discover this until the third year I live in Kent, but now I go here almost every week, sometimes more. It is a safe place. Have several different rooms small and large enough to commodate events or tournaments of any kind such as basketball, volleyball etc. Upstairs are raquetball courts. There is always something going on, and you can check the calendar for activities and scheduled events. Some are free, and if there is a fee, it is usually very affordable.There is a small gym, with locker rooms and showers. The gym, you can pay per visit, or monthly for $16. I love it because itsuits my needs and budget instead of paying for a more expensive gym memberships that requires a contract.The facility is always very clean and well maintained.

Great place for a coin show

We used the green River room for a retirement party. They were very helpful and accommodating. The cost was very resonable. Will use this venue again

Its cool place as long as you dont get on someone bad side other than that its cool

$5 drop in fee for classes, no excuses come check it out. I recommend Jazzercise with Susan.

Nice community center with ample parking for most events.

Great childrens programs and a friendly staff. My son enjoys his time there.
