Susan is amazing and you are guaranteed to have a great time! shes so patient. it doesnt matter what youre art experience is, youll go home with an awesome painting and so much knowledge.

My daughter has been taken classes with Susan for a couple years now and today I took a fluid paint class with her! I had a great time! I now have a pretty good understanding about the process and look forward to trying it myself at home! Susan is an amazing teacher, she explains things really well and has great patience. Shes the best!

Artsy Fartsy art lessons ROCK! Susan is Amazing. I know this from meeting her and speaking with her outside of her studio but I figure, hey - if those idiots who falsely gave her one star WITHOUT EVER SETTING FOOT IN HER STUDIO can review then why cant I? She is creative and fun and her studio looks like a blast. Wish I could go daily.

Susan is helping make downtown Kent a destination! Took my boys Christmas shopping for local art during one of her Third Thursday events - great band, snacks, and affordable works. Returned for a class and had a great time. Susan is great at helping the un-artistic (like myself) learn and enjoy the creative experience. Such a gift!

Ive not taken lessons from Susan, but I have spent some time with her sharing my art on Third Thursday Art Nights. Shes a gracious hostess and an amazing person. Very talented and accommodating. Ive met and chatted with several people shes taught and not a single negative word was spoken. ★★★★★- would Art again!

Susan is passionate about art and helping others with finding their creative voice. And she loves the community she lives in and tries to give back. She is a great teacher. I would suggest taking one of her classes or stopping by to see what she has to offer.

Let me begin by saying I don’t consider myself an artist in any shape or form, and was hesitant to attend a paint night. My first experience at Artsy Fartsy was a Friday paint and sip night. Where we were to create a mermaid. The owner/artist Susan gave easy to follow directions, and explained how to mix the colors and create textures within the painting. I was shocked at how good my painting turned out. The experience changed my entire perspective on my ability to create art. I’m hooked! Thank you Susan!

Susan’s spirit shows in the students enjoying classes and displaying artwork. Not your average art studio but that’s the greatest part of this space.

There has never been a moment when I have been in here and not felt at home. Susan is such a patient and wonderful teacher who just guides you through painting during paint and sip. She makes you feel welcome and encourages you to be artistic in your own way. With not only painting, she offers other classes including knitting, drawing and monoprinting. There is always something to learn from Susan when you are in her classes. I am encouraging all who are interested in being artsy, just come to Artsy Fartsy.

We did a sip and paint. Had so much fun. My inner child came out to play. Susan is a blast. What I liked about it was that she is so easy going. It is Byob so you know that you will like the wine. She has snacks and all of the supplies. It is just a nice low key atmosphere. It feel good to support a local artist vs one of the chains. We will definitely be back.

My company had a teambuilding painting session there back in May and it was amazing. Unfortunately, wine was not included but had such a great time with my co-workers! Im definitely going to try this sip and paint session on my time, though. Just referred someone who was looking for a place like this and recommended this location. Its fun, relaxing and did I mention its BYOW(bring your own wine)!!
