I love this park been going here since I was young. Hate how other skaters show up later in the evening and wreck the park with all their beer cans and busted bottles. Please respect the park and clean up before you go.

Was fun for the kids!

Huge outdoor area for skateboards, bicycles, roller skates, roller blades and scooters.

The bowls and the set up are amazing. I wish the city (or whichever municipality is responsible) would clean it up. There is always trash strength around. There needs to be tables or a place to sit for parents. Why dont you have a graffiti contest every year??? You could get free art!!!

Great skate park!

There is only one name for this place and it is home.It may be shabby, a little run down, definetly needs some TLC. But you will never find a better place to skate in my own personal opinion. Ive been skating here for 15 years now and no other park feels like home the way this one does. I love the haggard feel and of this place, its a very humble park. And for that i love it.

Legendary skateboard park to all of the local Kansas City skateboard and BMX community for close to 20 years.This is a massive park with all obstacles you would want at a skate/BMX park.Okay here is the negative - this park needs a serious makeover. If I were to have the concrete redone completely rather than patch jobs that are only done because of the locals this would be even more legit than it already is..

Best place to skate if your looking for a single session. Gets a little pack at night but well worth it

A lot of ramps good for if you just want to cruise around the skatepark, also a variety of rails and ledges of varying heights on the top level

One of my favorite parks so far. Though in the city, it is well secluded. Its pretty worn in places but still not bad for skateboards. Usually quiet and to yourself, but sometimes groups of drunk people come and it kinds of ruins it.

If you treat it like a really big nice storm drain ditch with some quarters and coping then its pretty sweet

Despite other less than accurate reviews, this park frequently has trash and lots of beer bottles overflowing the trashcans and on the ground, the adult skaters take themselves way too seriously and essentially ruin the experience for younger kids, and make everyone uncomfortable. But thats a lot of skateparks. Police presence doesnt deter drinking and such , so if your conservative you might not bring the little ones. Great layout as far as skating though. Only a few rail sections, but several small bowls all connecting around a central hub, and a unique wave ramp.

Not the kind of place that I would personally hang out after Dark its a little rundown but my nephews enjoy it theyre nine and everybody seems to accommodate them though I know they can be annoying to the older ones.

Well maintained and not filled with trash or mischievous kids. Good place to quietly unwind close by.

My kids love to ride their bikes and scooters here.

An awesome park for skateboarding and baseball etc....

This was one of the first public parks in KC. Its still really fun, but its a little rough in places as the concrete has worn over time.

Its pretty cool for the kids. However, there is quite a bit of obscene graffiti
