Fun place!! We were in town for my best friend’s bachelorette party and we ended the night here!! I love how they have TV screens in the next room so if you don’t get a seat near the stage you can still see what’s happening in that room and you don’t miss the awesome performances!!! Everybody was amazing and my friend had a blast! I would definitely go back anytime I’m in town!!!!

Great LGBT+ bar, lively and accepting. Wide range of events and theme parties, the Drag queens are amazing and really know how to put on a show. Staff are nice and considerate. Always a diverse crowd of people, you can be yourself and be accepted here. Fun times all around

Amazing crowd.Went for Karaoke, played some pool and mingled for a bit.It is a cash bar, but they do have an ATM inside where you can withdraw cash.Wasnt too crowded, and as a POC and visiting Kenyan I didnt feel in the least bit uncomfortable because people were super friendly. Loved it!

This is the BEST LGBTQ bar in KC. Always welcoming to all kinds of people. The staff are very attentive and professional.They have drag shows several nights a week. Theres always a dance floor. Karaoke many nights.Drinks are reasonably priced, but the glasses are a little shallow.

I have been to this place few times on Friday and Saturday. The drag shows are very fun and it’s different very time I went there. The hosts are super funny and are the best part of the show. The only think I don’t like about this place is the restrooms. Restrooms are not clean on the weekend.

Literally my go to bar. An amazing environment with an amazingly diverse group of people. So much fun and everyone is accepted and supported.

First time visiting the place anf it was awesome!!! I never seen so many beautiful men in my entire life. Its what the garden of Eden should look like if it was full of hot guys. The music was great and the drinks were reasonably priced and good. Cover was $10 which is great for what you get.

Had good show downstairs. Dance floor up top. Alot fun with mixture of people. Everyone proud in there had blast. I would love to go back again. They check in coats for $1. Which was great because my coat was very expensive they kept it safe. I havent dance and laughed like that in years.

Big gay bar with several different spaces. Drag stage, lounge, and dance club upstairs. Nice location on a busy corner. Not pretentious by any means. A little dank though. Upstairs has a little leather shop.

Love this place, we were there on the night of a charity performance. There was a Micheal Jackson impersonator there that was extremely talented. It was a lot of fun and the bartender there was a really cool dude, especially since us girls are not far past 21 and have no idea what to order.

Drinks are on the expensive side, and some friends of mine have had negative experiences with the overall culture of the patrons, but nothing has happened to me personally. The few times Ive been Ive managed to run into friends or make new ones, which is always a plus for me. The bathrooms are usually clean, though very narrow.Also, during summer they have a mister going on the balcony/enclosed smoking patio, and the careful, stairs are slick sign is no joke. I wasnt cautious and slid half way down. Not the bars fault, just something to be aware of.

Very fun and quirky! Dont want to give too much away with spoilers, but the drag show was very fun - great performers, great energy and a very funny hostess! After hours spot turns into a dance party.

I visited there about 6 months ago for the first time with my closest friend. That was her second ever drag show, and it was incredible seeing how excited everyone was for her and how excited she was. It was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and we easily had one of the best nights of our lives because of the people we met and the fun we had. We are planning a trip back hopefully soon as we live in Iowa.

Fun crowd and amazing dance area. Tons of straight people though ... the second I thought I could dance with a cute chick, shed turn around and start making out with her boyfriend.The drinks are a little pricey but I dont buy the basics, I pretty much only drink their alcoholic icees. So good. Totally worth the price.I would absolutely give this place 5 stars ... if it werent for all the straight women ... But if you are gay and looking for men this place is rad! Who knows, maybe Ill have better luck with women next time.

Easily my favorite bar. we go weekly! it’s pretty much the only bar in Westport where I feel comfortable as a gay man.

I dont usually write reviews. I was on a first date and having trouble finding places to go. The guy I was with was set on dancing. We asked a local walking down the street if he had any ideas or suggestions. He suggested missie Bs. It was nothing weve either tried before but we trusted the suggestion and it was great! So much fun, awesome venue, awesome music (wasnt our style really, but we had so much fun dancing), and the people were so laid-back, happy, and care free which made it even better. I didnt see any sloppy drunks or maybe I was having too much fun to tell. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. Id like to even just come on a weekday and hang out. 5/5

Drag hosts are always good. Tip them well. Same goes for the bar tenders. Music is okay and the dance floor lighting is a bit of a bore. But out of the options KC has to offer its a pretty good go, especially if youre gay.

This place is simply amazing. The music is great. The crowd is mixed and they are awesome ppl to be around. The bartenders are the best. I had a great time and recommend if you like gay clubs to go to Missy bs and check them out. You will not be disappointed.

What bar doesnt accept cards in 2019! This place has really fallen off. The drinks afte severely overpriced. The entertainment looked haggard and the music was just so so. Its not particularly lesbian friendly and if youre a person of color youll definitely stand out here. This used to be one of my favorite places 20 years ago before I moved away. Some things are best left in the past.

Missie Bs is a great LGBT club who caters to everyone. Their drag shows are a must see and their drinks are always good. The only reason I give it a four star review is due to the limited space on the weekends. When you have a crowd it gets to the point where you can barely move. Ive left the club because of this fact many times. Id still recommend it to anyone interested in having a fun time.

They have amazing staff and music. The bartenders are all really sweet and know their craft well. A huge bonus to them for free entry to active duty military.

First time! Single, straight lady in mid 40s becoming adventurous and curious. Love the feeling of being myself. I hope its ok that straight women are here. I wanted to approach a few men but didnt know if they are interested in ladies. I loved the barely dressed dancer bous on the dancefloor. I just stared. The show was great bu i am short so watched monitor standing up. Love the $1 coat check. Drinks were good. We had $6 beer pitchrs and $2 strong jello shots.NOW THE DANCEFLOOR i was a teen in the 80s. Went to Beefcakes where i fell in love with Depeche Mode. Was hoping to hear more 80s alternative new wave: the Cure, New Order, Brinski Beat, Erasure, Yaz etc. I didnt know all the new stuff so didnt dance. Ladies room upstairs was one stall! Smoke wafted into the bar...yuck. Loved the naught S&M shop! Hardcore. I hope to go back...esp if the music changes or blends old and new. Hinestly do people in the lgbt community want ladies like me there? I cant find a huge dancefloor besides Funky Town! Too far. Love ya!

I LOVE going here. Weekend or weekday. If its during the week. Go before 7 and enjoy free games of pool. The bar lady on the main floor is a hoot. At 6:30, they always watch Wheel of Fortune and its fun to play with everyone. During the weekend, you will find KC Pioneers doing cost check for $1. Totally worth it. Great people and it goes to a wonderful community.

An LBGT community nice people, no one flirts or forces their on you, nice for friendships or hang out. probably the best experiences i had from a venue like this was here out of other normal bars or clubs.

Loved this place. First time there and it was extremely busy. I live 2 hours away and the town I live in has a club like this too or so I thought. Comeplete night and day difference. People are free to be who they are and they are happy. It was like their was a celebration of life. It wonderful being able to see people be comfortable in their own skin and just live their truth without judgement or ridicule. I will say this place is definitely a safe space and its own little world. Im glad its there and hope more are made. Everyone deserves to be free and happy.

Great performances (a mix of comedy and drag), awesomely priced drinks, they even offer a bottomless special on Sunday 20 bucks all you can drink well ‘till 1am.

Omg. Such a live place! My first time going was for spice girls and it was amazing!!! We had vip tickets but didnt get the vip treatment. There was only standing room so i wish it was bigger with more cater to vip but overall i had the BEST time and look forward to going again.

This is a really nice gay bar in a nice area of town. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The drinks were really really cheap too. We went on a Wednesday night for the drag show. The drag wasn’t great but I guess there weren’t many option in KC.

Great fun, everyone is very entertaining but not enough seating and people kept blocking the view and stand in front of others.

This place was atrocious. First off, who doesn’t accept cards? Second, the bar was grody and the drinks were WAY overpriced. I live in Denver and even the drinks there are significantly cheaper. I mean 8.75 for a shot of Jack? Seriously? I will never go back and in fact, if I could rate this bar zero stars I would.

This is hands-down my favorite dance club in Kansas City. There is always a house DJ playing upstairs. There is also a leather shop and two bars open on the weekend upstairs. I believe its a $5 cover on Friday and a $10 cover on Saturday after 8 p.m. I love going on Mondays having myself a slushie!

We dont go out often, but when we do it is usually here. Gear night and other leather events are what draws us in, as well as the onsite leather shop upstairs. Good dance floor, friendly bartenders, and drink specials, at least on the days we go.

Staff still very friendly, but noticed a fairly transphobic sign on the upstairs bathroom doors (even if it is meant to prevent drug use indoor. There are other ways to do that/other language to use)Will turn down my 5-star rating until it is addressed.
