The Deuce has a unique layout to the area with some very severe hills and it makes for some picturesque holes. It does not, however, meet my expectations of a private course when it comes to conditions. Ive played it twice now a couple of years apart and the greens were very similar...slow and not in the best shape. You can get a Groupon to play here for $75 or $80 for a twosome when they do their 20-25% off promos and Id recommend playing it once just to see the course and the layout of a course thats unique to KC in my opinion.

This is a fun course with plenty of challenges, yet its not so difficult that you want to give up the game. Most of the holes that have doglegs, dogleg to the right which is great for my fade (er..slice). There is plenty of elevation change and there are some great views to behold. Enjoy!

I have come here for a college tournament twice a year. for The last four years. The pro and staff have attitudes. They are not helpful. Each year we have incidents where the employees are very rude. I will never visit the course again. The pro from this course had been rude every year.

Staff was AMAZING... But, the building needs a little updating.

Great course, but we got lost several times, there are literally no signs or numbered tee boxes, no directions, we didnt see any cart girl or attendants on the course, very confusing to navigate, even for my 20 yr old son who has played there before! Other than that, nice course, but I prefer Shoal.

Awful pro shop staff. Incredibly rude. Unhelpful. I will be spending my time and money elsewhere.Also, I was told it was a private course over the phone, laughable.

The customer service was TERRIBLE! While the course was beautiful, the pro made us feel like we were a terrible burden.Bring extra balls, its really easy to lose your ball (even in the fairway sometimes).

The course is nice but the range is short. You are not allowed to hit a driver or 3 wood because the balls will go into the trees.

Great course

What a disappointment my experience was, playing at The National! If Tom Watsons name was not associated with this course, it probably be compared to an average municipal course. I cant believe anyone would pay to even become a member here. Sorry, wont be back!
