Has a great atmosphere! Prices on drinks are quite steep but I get its all part of the vibe downtown. Only a handful of locations open right now with the covid precautions. Hope to see the whole place open soon.

It was awesome, went down to dubliners it has the best Sheppards Ive ever had. Im Irish as you can tell by the last name so I think I know what Im talking about. Super cool staff and the bar tender Kyle was cool as hell.

Even with Covid regulations right now it’s still really fun. So come out!!!

Watching the game at the power and light district was so fun. Great crowd and good food everywhere. Would definitely do it again.

Very neat outdoor-ish food court/bar area. Havent seen anything like it before. Table games. Lots of restaurant choices that deliver to your table in the courtyard. Had a dj playing great music when we went. Cool place.

What a wonderful entertainment venue, right in the heart of Downtown Kansas City. You have options if great food, movies, concerts, nightlife, community-wide celebrations, Sprint Center events, bowling, shopping and so much more. Check out their calendar of events. Its a great place to meet up.

Went down to try to see a movie but movie theater was closed. My girlfriend and I, basically walked around and found a cool bar. We proceeded to leave, until my girl heard some music and we had stayed to have more fun.

I had a blast and I definitely recommend this for a fun night with friends. Have a safe drive when heading into the city.

P&L in general contains a lot of good businesses, both of the struggling local and doing-just-fine, thanks varieties. there are plenty of opportunities for both indoor and patio recreation, eating, drinking, and shopping. In the midst of the current pandemic, its also nice to see the majority of those businesses taking the mask order seriously, and requiring patrons to behave in responsible manner on their premises.Parking is often a struggle, particularly on weekends when large portions of the city all gather at once, but at least the meters are free downtown on weekends. Itd also be nice if some of the perpetual construction projects in and around P&L could go ahead and wrap things up, or at least unblock lanes of traffic if there is going to be a multi-week break in working. That said, there are few places in Kansas City that offer more of a positive variety of experiences to be had. If youre new to town, or can only visit for a little while, put an exploration of P&L on your list.

Like to share my past an present my experience today ..i do miss howl at the moon . but im now with another. Security co..i like the district ..an meeting people never stops ...going back to work was a must ..to..due..never a dull moment ..

This is a really fun place. Very big and open and during warm times of the year they have various outdoor events like live music. Lots of places to choose from to go to. Good parking all around. I would highly recommend this place for locals and out of towners. There is truly something for everyone. Great food and places to choose from.

Although not the biggest area, it handles large crowds well. Great place to enjoy the night after spending a day museum hoppingm. They occasionally have concerts and such going on. Watching the game on the screen outside in the main area is great.

Definitely a great experience with groups! The food was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Im not sure if I would go more than once, but its definitely worth a visit!

Always love going to The P & L District. We went for lunch at The Bristol. Always something fun to do here. Food, concerts, jazz, shopping. You can find d ot here but parking can be tricky.

KCP&L district NEVER disappoints! It is an extremely clean, and safe environment to enjoy yourself. Multiple bars and restaurants with security walking the property. The live venue stage is great for performances! This place is really something to stop and see in Kansas City.

Very new and modern place. Feels safe at night. I didnt see any homeless people on the streets.

During these times where everything is sort of empty and quiet I could still tell this place has a lot going for it.

Loved this place. The only and hands down the best place for Kansas City nightlife. Although if you are from a big city, like big big, don’t get your hopes up. But compared to the smaller nearby city of tulsa, Kansas City’s P&L is the place to be on the weekend night. Love love love it.

A hidden park in the city is always amazing to have. I must say I was less amused at the stench of dog urine that assulted my nose once I opened the door to access the park. Nor was I amused that I had to keep a close eye on my toddler. There was a lot of dogs off lease. Honestly, I felt like I was at a dog park at first.Once we romped around the box car and prairie the park was much more enjoyable. Once we were in that area the dogs didnt bother us. Being at that park surrounded by the buildings leaves you in awe.We enjoyed breakfast on the bench and soaked in the sounds of the city.

Its a great place to hang out. Lots of options. As with everything else, would be better without the mask mandate.

My first time coming to KC and wanting to try something new. I am a kinda of a person who is actually scared of new things so I was a little hesitating about it. After I actually tried I am happy that I did. Really good customer service and a clean place to have fun! Will definitely do it again. There are many other options for bars in there.

Nicely placed crosswalks great outdoor concert venue called KC Live, piano bars, sports bars, and dance clubs, country bars high end techno bars rock&roll and R&B bars!lots of great food, I suggest Johnnys tavern there old school philly is great there beer selection is good also. If your visiting kc a must see night life area right down town! If your moving to KC One Light and Two Light are the best most luxurious buildings in the city Three Light breaks ground in March wiil be completed by may 2020! The shooting center is a great place to see a concert and is where the big twelve basketball tournament takes place very cool!

The power and light district is pretty neat. The hosts for each bar are friendly. Bar tenders are fast when making your drinks. The restrooms are hidden in the back area. The ATM was doing some update so we couldnt withdrawl money atbthe atm at entrance but there is another atm in the Taco bar. Really neat setup and amazing scenery

Cool old buildings dont go on a Sunday very boring when no football game

Even with our concerns with the virus there was enough space between parties that we felt safe and somewhat normal. Nice to get out again and we love our Hot Country Nights!

Really cool place. Very similar to a food court, but outside. There are bars and restaurants and you can take things outside to drink and eat. Theres often live music and theyve got big screens to watch if youre not interested in the music.

This area has a lot of different bars and restaurants to go to. The street life and atmosphere is great. Vibrant and lively. There is a little downfall to the homeless constantly coming up to you. It besides that, it is a great area.

I had a wonderful time walking around and exploring. This place was just a couple of blocks from my hotel. So many places to get food and drinks. This place is super popular and it seems to always be hopping. I visit here every time I’m in KCMO for work. I’ve always felt safe walking around. During summer time they have concerts here and people gather to watch major sporting events. Very lively place. I love it.

Poor conditions in the stairwell of the Power & Light garage. Paid $20 for the parking and @ 11am it smelled of urine along with other smells, dirty underwear, plenty grime, trash and a used syringe. All things you can see in the pictures below. .We went to Sprint Center with our children on Sunday 1/19/2020 This was the same day many people/customers are expected to come for the watch party for the AFC game taking place in KC. This was a big game in KC and when we had come many people had shown up and come to the P&L.This should be shut down for unsanitary and unsafe conditions.

Not everything open yet, but very peaceful and nice to get out and walk and enjoy this beautiful area.

It was nice to get out during covid and have a few drinks and enjoy downtown.

The giant overhead fan could have been turned cuz we all were sticky, the giant screen is very distracting from whos on stage, it was very bright at night and I have sensor processing issues, good sound, Cowardly Lion was good, hand dryers need to be less sensitive to shut off! All thats y I always preferred old Westport.

Being from STL, it almost seems impossible for a downtown area in a major city to be clean, safe and packed chock-full of businesses in every large space and every nook and cranny. There is never any shortage of things to do in KC. If you want to bring your significant other for a weekend of eating and drinking until you can barely stand it, a weekend with the boys or girls and total shenanigans, or a super fun weekend with the kids...KC is a great place to consider. Great food, unbeatable atmosphere and plenty of well lit centrally located parking. Thats unheard of! Great people watching, tons of arts & music...KC makes me jealous that we cant have nice things at home.

Been here several times. Always fun. The area is spacious for sporting events and concerts. Drinks are expensive though. Came here for a bit before the Superbowl parade. A lot of people having a great time.

This place is amazing I was there for the super bowl and they really know how to party. Lots of options for food and drinks . Live entertainment. Hugh screens to watch games on and a stadium like atmosphere. Recommend any one coming to Kansas City MO to check this place out

Wonderful spot to find entertainment. Music and school for any type or age group. They even beer bars they you can try hundreds of beer. Live music and bands in the common areas on certain days. Fans of Chiefs and Royals come here often and it is right across the street from the Sprint Center.

What a great venue. We saw Blues Travelers. Fantastic show parking was a breeze. Not much. Seating anywhere but standing room only. Or sit on the steps in front of the stage. And there is some restaurants in there that have outdoor seating. If you get there in time.

Went down to Power & Light after Chiefs won Super Bowl. It was packed down there. But it was well worth it, the police were in great form. Very safe environment. It was just a great time to be downtown.

This is the heart of downtown Kansas City. This part of the city carries a very vibrant lifestyle. All of the eateries are within the walking distance. In summer, there is a regular concert on Thursday. Did I mention that it is free? Also, there is Free wifi available for visitors.

Power and light district is always a great place to be, most places our little costly, but if youre looking to go out and have some fun on a Friday or Saturday night this is the place to go.

August 2018, a great area to stroll the streets of KC. Walking is easy, everything within blocks. The lights on the buildings at night are cool.
