I love eating here. Prices were appropriate. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.

Spent NYE here, didnt plan to we just kind of stumbled on it. So glad we did we had an awesome expereince. Great venue, service and music.

They always have awesome music, and the people are really cool. This, the head guy, is a really cool person. Good beer selection, too. If youre braving the chaos that is Westport, dont neglect to stop on by. You wont regret it.

It was a Friday night bout midnight and the place was packed but it was a nice and friendly environment. I came to see my co-worker play with his band. The snacks that you order were cooked fresh to order. Very happy about that.

Awesome bar, Tuesdays are one of the best bar nights in kc because of this place, I wont give away all the secrets, youll just have to come see for yourself. Highly recommend!

My wife and I dont go out a whole lot so we didnt really know what to get drinks-wise. Will took time to explain menu items for me and my wife and did an awesome job!We also went to see the Grand Marquis who play there often - it was so fun to listen to - the music was great!!

I absolutely love the Saloon! The service is impeccable. When I visit, its like visiting home. The staff is always smiling, pleasant, and attentive. They remember and recognize newcomers and regulars alike. When Im there, I always feel safe and taken care of. Most nights their isnt a cover (but when there is I never mind paying it). The music is always awesome, seriously amazing. Such a great time... always.

Nice place to hang your hat with some friends. The music is always honest and the staff are welcoming, quick witted, and on top of drink orders. The blues jams are epic on Tuesdays! I absolutely love this place! We stopped in because the other bars around Westport were packed with passed out young people. This place is where all the cool people chill and listen to music. Loved the vibe, loved the bartenders, and the drinks kept on coming at a nice price. Great spot!

This is a great bar! The live music, drink selection, and amazing food keep me coming back. Not many places you can find good, live folk and country music in the city. Friendly atmosphere and good Music

Excellent time, Tuesday night open Jam is so MUCH fun, and you NEVER know who might show up!

I’ve always been hesitant to go in here, but went in randomly on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised with the live music; “American Slim” was the band. My only complaint is that the music was just a touch too loud for such a small venue by the back bar “about 20ft of depth. Definitely had pain in my ears after I left.

There is always live music without a cover, which is rare for a place that brings in some entertaining performers. Lots whiskey drinks, decent beer selection. The food is really good. The mac n cheese with blackened chicken is a quality late night food option.

Something cool and different. They bring in great musicians, and serve great food. My only suggestion would be to add a juke box customers can use - but only during slow times. We like to go sit in there and have a few beers while the bar isnt busy, and it would be great to be able to play some red dirt, classic outlaw, and roots music while we are just hanging out.

My favorite Westport bar by a Longshot, the best whiskey selection for the price and consistently good music acts. They have good food that you can order through a window attached to the resteraunt next door. Good specials and friendly staff. Its a whiskey bar. If you prefer whiskey when you drink it the place to be. It usually has live music on a stage in the back, even on weekdays. And theres no cover.

The Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese is a pretty perfect combination but the rest of my experience was average at best. The smothered fries were definitely not to my liking (I actually sent them back). But all in all a good little spot for a beer or 2.

Best live music spot in kc. Cozy stage, pro sound guys, and more musical talent than a person will know what to do with. One of the only bars in westport that has a pulse. they arent trying to empty your wallet and turn you out. You can come here and have way too good of a time and not break the damn bank in the process. They managed to dodge the oh so familiar fabricated feel most bars in the area have. Its completely gimmick free with a truly amazing staff and an owner who has the biggest damn heart around. plus you dont gotta go searching for food. Theyll get ya set up in house with food so good it should be criminal. So head in, pull up a seat close to the stage, get a shot with a brew, and see for yourself.

Am from small town, Deltaville, VA, went in on a slow Sunday night, no live music (yet best place around on a Sun nite), talked with bartender Steve (am pretty sure that was his name), abt my Stout/Porter beer preference, followed his excellent advice re same.Went back on Tues nite, walked up to bar, Steve said, Pete, from Chesapeake Bay, VA, great to see you back, same beer? and I said Of course as he was already serving it up.Made me feel really welcome and, being solo, it immediately created conversation with those around me, as if I was already a regular.That nite the place really hopping, great live music, much like a battle of bands, really enjoyed it. One older fella, senior citizen, like me, looking almost emaciated, frail looking, thinning grey hair, was standing around and I was watching him, a bit concerned, cause of age + appearance.Then one band finished, he went up with another band, got on the keyboards and WOW, he hit a home run, over and over. I could have listened to him all nite. Looks are deceiving. GREAT PLACE!

I love coming here. The staff is wonderful and knows a lot about the massive whiskey selection. Its a great get away with an awesome (usually live) soundtrack that really sets the over all atmosphere and really gets you in the mood for good whiskey and great food from Eat Me.
