Interesting space. Industrial Chic.Lofty, no frills space that leaves room for you to do what you wish. Wedding was nice, however event/staff seemed overwhelmed. Lights abruptly came on and they kicked us all out. Rather rudely.Neighborhood has not been redone, however it definitely has potential.

Barrel of the Bottoms has one of the most amazing podcast studio spaces available in KC! They also act as a venue, hosting improv courses and comedy shows that deliver awesome entertainment. When not being used as a performance venue, the space doubles as a work co-op and feels entirely warm and welcoming. The ownership is amazing! As one of their patrons for their podcast studio membership, I reached out with questions on how to use the studio equipment and was immediately responded to every time. Highly recommend to everyone I know for their comedy and creative outlet needs.

A beautiful space in one of the most picturesque areas of the city! The Barrel hosts high quality shows anyone would be lucky to attend, and the amenities they offer their artists come at an exceedingly fair price. A collective worth paying attention to!

Great space with a welcoming staff and an underground feel (although its on the 4th floor). Go see a show there - its unlike any other venue in KC. They take the time to cultivate growing talent and hand-select great performers for all of their shows.

Barrel of the Bottoms puts on the best comedy shows in Kansas City. The shows are affordable, there are no bad seats in the house, and the comedians are always top notch. If you are in need of some entertainment, look no further than The Barrel.

Theres a lot of stairs to climb but its DEFINITELY worth it for the quality of comedians the Barrel brings in!

The open house is so fun to attend! It happens twice a year! The building is beautiful to just go and walk around in.
