Great location with a lot of options of types of a boat. They do now have a location now in St Augustine. So they are expanding.

We love Freedom Boat Club of Jax. Have been a member for 3 months now and have always been able to reserve a boat when we want it. Everyone is very nice and are all about new boaters learning the ropes. The guys on the dock treat you like royalty! One of the best things we have joined in a long time. Would recommend to anyone who wants the fun of a boat without all the hastle and cost of ownership!

Ive been an active member with Freedom Boat Club for over two years and so far my membership has been fulfilling and adventurous. All the staff have been helpful as Ive encountered different challenges as a novice boater. I encourage would be boaters to look at club membership. My family really enjoys the opportunities to get out on the water fishing, cruising and sometimes simply sitting on the water relaxing. The reciprocal reservation offers me and my family the opportunity to enjoy boating when we are away from North Florida. Been a FBC member now for maybe 2 months and been on the water a handful of times. My experience has been great. The dock staff are all very helpful and make it so easy, they are all a great asset the FBC. I heard many different opinions about joining, but went ahead and joined and have no regrets..

Freedom Boat Club membership has been awesome thus far. I have taken several boats out for fishing, cruising to restaurants and going to a Jags game. My friends and family have really enjoy boating and I can’t wait to learn how to wake board. I would highly recommend membership versus buying a boat.

Highly recommend Freedom Boat Club! They have 3 locations in the area - we joined with they open up the one at Jacksonville Beach. We love that we can take a boat out whenever we want without the hassle of having to clean or store it somewhere. The club also has great social events! Definitely worth the membership fee for all the fun.

Freedom Boat Club is our family getaway every weekend. Its our time to spend just the 4 of us or with another family. No cell phones, no TV, no computer just the 4 of us exploring the path less taken in NE FL. Every weekend we find another place to go with the boat or just go to our beach spot and dig in the sand for awhile. Did I mention tubing on the St Johns....

This is our third year with the club and it continues to amaze. Incredible value and flexibility for families and for entertaining! Kloe and the dock teams are awesome and do whatever they can to make your time on the water hassle free. The dock parties and club events are first rate as well and just add to the fun!Keep it up!

This is the easiest way to get on the water. No maintenance, no trailers, no cleaning. Just show up and go. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Being able to get different kinds of boats depending on what you want to do on different days is priceless. And with the ability to use other locations around the country, this is really the best way to get on the water.

Debated joining but after being a member for 4 weeks, we are so happy to joined. Weve never had issue getting the boat we want, and now that its getting a bit cold, were looking at using the fishing boats more. Really cool experience and a great culture to be around. Wonderful investment in our family.

We have been Freedom Boat Club members in NE Florida for almost eight years now and have enjoyed it immensely. We love the freedom that says its too cold and I dont want to go out without see a boat in your driveway decaying from lack of use. We also love the freedom that says, I forgot to make a reservation but really want to go out today, lets call and see if they have something. In eight years, even on weekends, we have been turned down twice when we made this request. Our favorite part is that when we get there the boat is ready and when we are done we drop it off and go home! The best parts of owning a boat, at a very reasonable monthly fee, without any hassle! No, they did not pay me to write this, we have just really appreciated FBC!

Love Freedom Boat Club! We have been members for about 5 years and use the club almost weekly! The boats are well maintained, the team is awesome. We love every minute and we also use the reciprocal benefits which is always a great bonus when we travel.

There is definitely something to be said about being able to boat all day and walk away when you get back without having to do the chore of cleaning/hauling and storing the boat. The staff at Freedom Jacksonville and St Augustine is second to none. I highly recommend them!

These folks are great. The dock masters have always had my boat ready to go - even when I call at the last minute. They also have a great choice of boats. I pick the boat that best fits what I want to do that day. Best part is, at the end of the day, no cleaning, rinsing, refueling, trailering, etc. I get to have all the fun of boating without all the hassles and Im saving money compared to owning my own boat. Plus, when I travel, I can use boats at partner locations.

Its the gift that keeps on giving. I bought a membership for my wife for Mothers Day. This was my simple math to justify the cost. Besides the membership fee up front, which is a reasonable $$, you pay monthly what some people pay to have their boats under shelter for the month. Plus, they have the boat ready for you when you get on and get off. It is ridiculous!!!There is a great selection of boats. We prefer cruising and tubing. For you fisherman, there is plenty of twin engine toys. Im generally able to reserve a boat for the following weekend if I play my cards right. Also, Im 2 for 2 on the waitlist that they provide. Oh by the way, this is all done by computer. Its quick, easy, and no confusions. I would strongly recommend this club membership to anyone of my friends.

It is like owning a whole fleet of boats all by yourself. I can reserve a ski boat, a fishing boat, a deck boat or even a pontoon to have a cruise with friends. The boats are new and in excellent condition. Not once in over four years have I ever had a mechanical issue.The staff is super friendly and helpful, They even give you a bag of ice to keep your beverages cold. Dont worry about safety equipment it is all on the boat and in excellent condition.When Im done I just tip the dock hand and say see you next time there is no towing, cleaning or maintenance.Definitely the best investment in quality family time I have ever made.

The dock manager and crew at my home facility are the best. If you are tired of all the work and expense of owning a boat but enjoy the time on the water. This is the place for you. Ive several boats in my life and each one was a chore to store, prepare, launch, recover, and clean. None of that going on here.

I never considered buying a boat because of the maintenance costs, storage fees, and cleaning involved. When we found out about Freedom Boat Club, we figured it was too good to be true. Tons of boats at three nearby locations, new models and various types available is exactly what we got; and the best part is that I never have to pay a repair bill or clean up after a day on the water with my family. Could not be a better decision for our family and especially for the begginer boaters out there.

Unbelievable club! I will NEVER OWN A BOAT again. I boat more now than when I owned boats. Now I can go out for 45 minutes if I want with no clean up or boat ramp. Not many things you can find that improve your quality of life with NO ADDED HASSLES. ITS A NO BRAINER.

Cant say enough about how becoming members at Freedom Boat Club has changed our lives....for the better! Although we call St. Augustines marina our home base, the staff at Julington Creek are also tremendously kind, helpful and readily available to assist us with docking, questions on fishing questions. Had a great time at the Freedom Boat Club photo shoot. It was great to get together with the other members and the 50 plus boats for the event. Lisa and Kevin and the whole crew really take care of your every need and the boats are top notch. Im happy I joined and going on my 3rd year.

The freedom boat club is fantastic. Their entire staff absolutely rocks! Weve been the the club for years and have never had a bad experience. All boats look brand new every time Friendly and helpful staff make each interaction a joy.

Freedom Boat Club is great. You get exactly what you expect - great boats with 0 hassle. The people at Freedom Boat Club are very helpful and enthusiastic about what they do. Top of the enthusiasm list is Lisa the Boatinista. In addition to great boats they have events and activities like Boat-gate to the Jaguars game. Our guests from Europe came along and really enjoyed seeing the river and their first American football game.

We love the ability of going to any marina where Freedom Boat is and have a boat ready for us, discover new waters without the hassle of owning a boat.. I would highly recommend anyone that loves the water and wants to have a difference experience to join this club!..

Ive been a member of Freedom Boat Club here in Jacksonville/St. Augustine for nearly two years now. You wont find many businesses in the entirety of Jacksonville that can match the level of customer service FBC Jax provides. Joining the club has been worth every penny and Id never go back to being a slave to my own boat again!

My wife and I have just joined the club, we must take a safety course before we can take out our first boat. So Im reserving the fifth star until weve actually experienced using the boats. Ive done quite a bit of research, I expect well be able to give it the fifth star soon. Weve been wanting to get a bigger boat then what we have. We currently have a small fishing boat, not something we can take the family out on. When I compared financials of buying a boat to that of the joining the club, its actually less expensive then owning a new boat, if you were to spend 35K to 50K on a boat. Now we wont have to have insurance, worry about storage, upkeep, cleaning, launching and retrieval. Were in our upper 60s now and I can see all this getting much harder to handle. Even now, launching my fishing boat is a bit of a challenge when Im alone. Now we have the opportunity to use the kind of boat that suits our purpose, whether were fishing or cruising with the family. The available boats are beautiful, fully equiped, clean and well maintained. Looking forward to getting out soon.Update: The boat club has been a very good investment. Weve have been out boating just about once a week except during the coolest time. We go mainly from St Augustine, but have used Julington Creek on occasion. The dock staff have always been very helpful and polite. Upped the stars to 5 now. This is boating at its best.

Simply stated the most enjoyable and trouble free boating experience ever- its reasonably costed, you choose the boat you need for specific outing, boats are new, they are in great working order, clean and ready when you need it, the staff is helpful and you return when done and drive away. All the benefits of having a boat when you need it without any of the hassles of ownership.

I must start by being honest, my wife and I have owned several boats in the past 10 years (from bow riders to center consoles) and have always loved to be on the water. Recently we decided to join Freedom Boat Club. I must say I was hesitant (my wife not so much; she was in 5 minutes after meeting Lisa); I was concerned about availability and it simply seems to good to be true. However, I must say I have been pleasantly surprised. My wife and I have been on the water more in the past 6 weeks than we had been in years. Weve not only had our boys out but friends as well. We have been enjoying family time like we hadnt in a while. For that, I am extremely grateful. And, for my availability concerns, I have had no problem getting on the water every weekend. Even when I didnt think I was going to be available (and didnt make a reservation) I called and got a call back within the hour telling me a boat was available (and it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon). We are even going back out this weekend (Memorial Day). The boats are new and well cared for. As for the team at Julington Creek from Kloe to Devon to Kevin to Drew and anyone I left off (sorry) we have never felt more welcome. We truly feel like weve been members (actually more like friends or family) for years; what a great team. Very professional and accommodating. They truly push to make our experience world class. So from my family to everyone at FBC (should beFamily Boat Club), thank you for reminding us what is important.

Ive owned over 100 boats in my lifetime and never had so much quality time on the water as I have since I joined Freedom Boat Club. I take out clients, family, friends, and even just go out for a cruise by myself from time to time. This is the best way to get on the water, period!

I recently retired and was intrigued with boating around Jacksonville. With availability to the river, intercostal, and the ocean, we didnt know which way to go .So far we have had four reservations, two on the river and two on the intercostal. Not sure which one we liked more. Saw the dolphins and manatees swimming last week on the intercostal. WOW!It is also fun taking out different types of boats, from pontoon boats to speed boats. Still looking forward to finding out about fishing the area.Freedom boat club has given us many option on boating the area, and definitely taken the hassle out of boating.Wednesdays have become a scheduled day for us that we call Freedom Wednesdays ...

We have been members of FBC for over 3 years and we have been experiencing worry and hassle free boating at its finest! Our entire experience from joining, training to ultimately getting on the water has been and continues to be a pleasurable experience. Both teams (St. Augustine and Jacksonville) do a great job keeping the boats clean and in top condition, they are accommodating and do all the little things to enhance our excursions from helpful advice regarding boats and weather to sharing their strong working knowledge of each craft. A special thank you to Lisa Almeida, she is wonderful!!! She goes above and beyond the call of duty, she is genuine in her approach and cares about members. This is evident because she is always looking for ways to improve and enhance our FBC experience and makes herself readily available to us. I dreamed of boating for the last five years, every time I drove past the Julington Creek Marina. My husband and I finally joined the Freedom Boat Club in July and my dream became a reality. I was brand new to boating and Captain Frank was an amazing teacher! After his class, I felt confident about handling a boat on the open water! The staff at Julington Creek (Kloe & Tony) have been more helpful than I could have imagined and I boated THREE times last week; each time trying out a new boat. All the representatives of FBC are very friendly and do everything they can to make sure that you enjoy you boating experience. The deck hands (Kloe and Tyler) are awesome and are always friendly. Not only is the club way easier and less expensive than owning a boat, but it also allows the opportunity to use the boats in ways you would not if you owned. For example - I will often take a boat out fishing for a couple hours at 6PM after work. If I had to hook up my own boat to may car, put it in the water, and take it back out, I would never do these short trips. But with FBC, its no problem. Join FBC and see how boating should be!

I attended the Freedom Boat Club Jags vs Texans game and while the game left alot to be desired for me, my guests from Houston really enjoyed the entire experience. The staff welcomed them immediately and made them feel part of the family. The overall event was first class. All FBC members and guests were able to enjoy themselves and not worry about parking or docking. As always, FBC Jax is a great alternative to boat ownership.

We are so glad we joined Freedom Boat Club. I knew I loved boating but did not have the time, and energy to own a boat again. For us, FBC was the perfect solution. Right away we began boating as often as we like and had the option to go out on the St Johns river or the intracoastal. Additionally, we incorporated FBC into our vacations and get to keep boating when we travel. But what is most amazing to me is that after two years as I have become more experienced and comfortable our options became unlimitied. My wife and I vacationed with friends by boat to the Hammock Beach Resort this summer and had an incredible adventure. I am now deep sea fishing 20 miles off shore, which is something I never dreamed I would do and last week going to the Jags game by boat was truly a unique experience like no other. The money spent on FBC is some of the best money I have ever spent. It has gone towards memories and experiences that my family and I have always dreamed of as well as new adentures to be excited about each week. It has exceeded all of our expectations.
