My daughter had her ears pierced by Misty at Fat Kat last weekend and it was a wonderful experience. Misty took her time with her and explained everything she was going to do. She was so thorough with her measurements to make sure they were perfect on each side. Everything at Fat Kat is so clean and sanitary. Misty was great about giving us after care instructions. When it was all over my daughter was so happy. She had been to one of those piercing shops at the mall and said she’ll never go back there. This is where she’ll get any other piercings because it was such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Fat Kat for any piercings you want. Misty is the BEST!

My wife had her septum clicker STUCK. We called the Fat Kat and talked to Misty who was available and told us to come by immediately. In less than a minute after sitting down she had the piercing out. Misty was super sweet and helpful, go check her out!!

I got my very first piercing, a septum piercing, done by Tom and it was a really great first experience! Due to covid, my husband wasn’t able to come inside with me so I had to get the piercing done alone. But I’m really appreciative of how seriously they took social distancing and cleaning measures to combat the virus. I felt very safe there. Tom was very quick and made me feel well taken care of. I was in and out in 20 minutes and I absolutely love my new piercing!

I could honestly say I’m a regular customer when it comes to getting piercings at this place . The piercers know what they’re doing and they make me feel comfortable but I must say please **INVEST IN BETTER PIERCING JEWELRY . I feel every single time I come in I get a cheap piece of metal that fall apart within a few days and I have return to get it replaced another expense out of my pocket. I have even heard a piercer once said their jewelry is cheap and that’s not a nice to hear because I know it’s a fact. I would be more happy to get more piercings at this place but I can’t afford to waste more money on replacements.

Trying to get my little sisters ears pierced was a nightmare, calling shop after shop they had ridiculous policies, and expensive! Fat Kat took care of us and also, got us in same day with a 20 min wait. Lauren took care of us. This want my first tattoo at all... But it was the first for my 17yr old kids that wanted to do something special for our bond. Even tho its small, it means so much to us. Lauren helped to make their wish and dream a reality. She was extremely professional in helping our vision come to life. I was lied to about availability. I was told that they were doing piercings and that we didnt need an appointment and that they were available until 12a.m. I was 5 mins away and as soon as I arrived I was told that they started a 6 hour tattoo and that there was no availability. I wish they told me the truth instead of lying and wasting my time. 1 out of 5 stars very ghetto would not recommend.

Made a last minute appointment for me and my best friends to get matching tattoos. Kaitlin Medders reached out before the appointment and had a design template prepared when we arrived. The shop was clean and practicing social distancing. Kaitlin was super nice to me and my friends (tattoo virgins) and created a beautiful tattoo for each of us. I saw Misty for my first cartilage piercing and would highly recommend her. Needles always make me light headed, but Misty made the process quick and easy. She went above and beyond to make sure I was okay afterwards. It was a great experience and I will be going back for any future piercing needs.

The artist that’s actually doing your tattoo will usually be nice and respectful to you at least until you leave that is. The other artist don’t care if your bringing the shop the work in business or not they will be extremely rude and short to you even tho they are overcharging out the a**. I got twice the amount of colorful detailed cover up work At TRUE LOVE TATTOOS AND IRON CLAD TATTOOS for literally less than what I paid for here at Fat Kats for a small 5 letter cursive name that’s smaller in length than an index finger and me and not even 3/4 of an inch in tall letters. It took 20 mins and they charged me 90 I got about 3/4 of a half sleeve of really COLORFUL & DETAILED COVERUP WORK FOR 220 at TRUE LOVE TATTOOS. I don’t recommend this shop at all if your big on respect and disrespect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND:::::IRON CLAD TATTTOOS&TRUE LOVE TATTOOS

I just called to ask 2 simple questions about a piercing. The woman on the phone was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful regarding my genuine questions. She made me feel as if I was an absolutely bother. The woman ended the conversation with “I literally cannot do anything for you.” I don’t think I’ve ever been spoken to that rudely. If you’re in a job or position you hate, there is no need to make your customers/patients/consumers feel terrible for their needs. Will not be going here or recommending it to any of my friends.

Honestly words cant even express the experience my Husband and I had yesterday when we got our tattoo. First and foremost all the employees at the shop are so nice and Amazing. We had the pleasure of having Chris as our Artist and his work is breath taking and AMAZING! The atmosphere at the shop is something I have never experienced before. Its laid back I will admit I was nervous at first but all that went away really quick! Your made to feel like your at home, comfortable. Great conversation and just simply amazing! Yesterday at the shop was an experience Ill never forget as not only did my husband and I have amazing pieces of art done by an amazing artist we also had the pleasure of meeting Scott ( I do believe is his name, sorry I forget names lol) hes the husband of the shop manager Misty which is so sweet and amazing as well! We had along conversation with Scott as my husband got a tattoo of a dragon holding my cancer ribbon as Im fighting my battle. Scott talked to me about alot of things and before he left he asked if he could pray with me and for me. Scott, myself,my husband and Chris stood outside in a circle with arms around one another as he prayed for me! Something youd never think would happen especially at a tattoo shop right?! However if youve never been to Fat Kat tattoo shop I can beyond promise you that your missing out on some of the best Artist, and just down to earth Amazing people in general! I went Too fat cat tattoo shop It didnt take long to figure out after talking to tattoo artist Tom cariel That he was an awesome artist very nice person I will go back so will my wife great people love their work

So I went here about 3 time the first time I was very satisfied and it made me come back because I was so pleased with the work but the last two times It was very unpleasant there is actually only one good tattoo person here and he has an owl tattoo he is very good but every time I go he’s never there but the last two times I went here there are two females here that said I have sensitive skin to make up for the bad work as if my skin has something to with the fact that they scarred me and I came back the second time I came and they acted like they couldn’t help they just told me “I’m sorry you have sensitive skin just give it a couple weeks and it should be fine” I wasn’t happy but I came back and didn’t go to the same person went to someone else in there and I thought they would be better but it wasn’t I just got it I been washing it daily and taking care of it but it’s got real nasty. With scars and I keep washing it and stuff but I see no sign of it being better (but every other time I got a tattoo this has never happened up until this point) and not only that the customer service is bad and everyone seems mad when your in there but I would never recommend this tattoo shop to others

I went into Fat Kat Tattoo on a spur the moment trip in a rush on a late Saturday night. They were quick to get started, walked me through the consent sheet and pricing. My friend and I came in today to get piercings done. She was incredibly nervous, but Tom did a great job of easing her through the process. He was cracking jokes and made things fun. I wanted an old piercing re-done and he was actually able to stretch the existing hole without having to re-pierce it - saving me money. The shop was also very clean and the other staff were nice as well. 10/10 would recommend!

I went there today because I got a piercing about a month ago from a complete different company. The piercing was sinking into my ear lobe. I went there to see if they could help me and the piercer (young blond woman) was extremely helpful. She helped me and gave me a new piercing. 10/10 recommend!! The woman was very patient and caring !!

I had a great experience with Chris, who handled my nostril piercing. In true amateur fashion, I didnt have enough to eat before getting my piercing and became faint directly after the stud was in place. Chris was extremely kind (as was the front desk lady) and had me rest for several minutes with a Coke before letting me leave. He talked me through my dizziness and made me feel comfortable and safe. Very professionally and helped me be at ease getting my belly button pierced again. As soon as you walk in the whole shop smelt clean and sterile, there wasn’t a speck of dust or dirt anywhere and everything was very organized. I am in Jacksonville for vacation for the week and decided that I wanted to get a tattoo while I was here. Fat Kat Tattoo was able to get me in when I scheduled the appointment almost immediately. Barrett did an amazing job and was very personable and professional for my entire experience. I got a fantastic tattoo to commemorate my graduation from school that I could not be more pleased with. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. I went to this establishment looking to get a tattoo that was gonna cost around $300 to $400. I only had a picture on my phone to go by as to an idea of what I wanted. The artist who would be doing the tattoo was in the back and couldnt be bothered to come up to the counter and speak with me about it. The girl at the counter should him the picture on my phone and all I heard was Christ!. Then he said it would cost by the hour. He still didnt come out to discuss the tattoo with me. I figured Ill take a chance and went ahead and paid a deposit of $50.00. I even sent the artist Edwin a few pictures of designs that I liked and never got a response back. I decided to cancel the session so I politely asked for my deposit back and Edwin said it would be no problem. I went into the store and asked for my deposit back and I was told that the person I was to talk to was out and no one knew when she would return. I even suggested using the deposit for a piercing but they wouldnt except that. Im not waiting for them to give me my money back and I have already disputed the transaction with my bank. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT USE CASH. VERY SHADY.

I loved everything about getting a piercing done here. And they are reasonably priced! I went in to get a set piercing yesterday and was greeted by a wonderful blonde lady, who also did my piercing. I didn’t catch her name. After filling out paper work and reading over the legalities I was taken back in less than 10 mins. She was very friendly and made sure I understood the process and aftercare. Within 3 mins I was done with no pain or bleeding. This was the best piercing experience I have ever had! I’m so glad I chose to go to fat kat tattoo over grimewerks tattoo!

I was referred to this place and I decided to get a sentimental tat from there. Walked in the door and I kid you not, I walked right back out. The customer service was BEYOND TERRIBLE!! If you want a tat, go somewhere else!!! The absolute WORST tat shop Ive ever been in!!!! I felt rushed, unwelcome, and they showed NO respect for me at all. The only thing that could be done to fix how I feel, is to CLOSE this shop. Since you dont seem to want to do tats anyway...

As a first timer I had an idea, walked in on a Friday afternoon, and explained it to Tom. He sketched it out on his iPad device, drew it up, and had it ready to go an hour later. Needless to say I got what I wanted, everyone was friendly, studio is clean and Im stoked with my finished product. Gotta see how it finishes out but the detail was awesome as of now. Highly recommend.

Not too happy. It looks nice from a distance but when you look up close the lines are not as tight as they should be. It all looks a little wobbly.

Me, my grandmother, and sister all got tattoos here. I have multiple tattoos from multiple places but wow. I am never going anywhere else. The professionalism displayed by Tom at Fat Kat on beach Blvd was incredible. He made sure we were all comfortable, happy with our designs, and clear what we were getting and where. His artwork was unbelievable and he was clearly an absolute pro. On all the other tattoos I have gotten Ive scarred immediately and noticably. But with Tom I didnt scar at all. He is a true professional with a steady hand. I will definitely return.

Terrible customer service. We left and went somewhere else and rain into four people that were going in as we were leaving. They all said that the guy with the beard was so hostile that they would never go in there again. I agree completely. You have to trust the person giving you a tattoo to some extent.

I went in after 2 weeks of dealing with a piercing that was improperly pierced at a different shop dealing with total hell with a piercing from a different shop. They examined it and gave me advice and led the way on a smart decision to let the fresh piercing close and to get it redone due to the fact that it won’t heal and if it does it won’t heal properly due to it being done wrong AT ANOTHER SHOP. They were very helpful clean and professional. I’ll definitely e going back to get my piercing redone correctly and any tattoos I plan on getting will be done at this shop. They’ve won my heart in my shop choice. I’d refer anyone I know with any wants or needs or tattoos or piercings. I also wanna addd that there were 3 people being tattooed and they looked very comfortable. I cannot wait to go back!
