I lived there for a year and had the best neighbors. There is a sense of community and everyone looks out for each other. Great location in Ionia, very safe. It was wonderful renting a brand new mobile home. The pool and fitness center were nice to use before Covid but are slowly opening back up to residents. Great place for kids and older adults. Would recommend.

Pretty descent community and place to live. Used to be quiet and peaceful. Biggest issue here is the water in certain areas of the park. No different than Flint water. DEQ, has been out here, weve ruined a countless amount of money in clothes from trying to do laundry and the water turns brown. 4 years later and still have to deal with it. Manager is the 3rd one since being here but is very nice, helpful and trying to get things done. Shes been here since last August I believe.

Caring management. Tries to make things fun for kids and activities for kids and adults despite the covid restrictions.

We have lived here since July 2019 and we love it! The management is wonderful! The pictures that show a park in distress are very selective if not staged. Whenever I have gone to the management with concerns I have been treated with respect and my issues have been delt with in a timely manner. I am so very grateful for Matt and Lori, I am so very thankful to live here.

As a newly single woman adventuring out on her own, Lori has been nothing been a god send to me. I was nervous and not really knowing what to expect about moving. She set my mind at ease and I took a step forward. Happy to say I’m glad I did! Can’t wait to be a part of the Canterbury community! Great job and huge thanks to Lori and the whole team! A beautiful affordable place to call “home”

No dogs and not much fun for children

It seems like a nice place this far Im currently living here and loving it.

I would like to let the owners know that we have lived here in the park for over 9 years and all I have to say is Wow! Matt & Laurie are doing a fabulous job! The park looks better than it ever has. Its nice to have managers that care and go over and beyond. Nice work!

Canterbury Estates is okay. But it used to have much better management and maintenance staff! The staff used to care about their residents. Now all theyre worried about is their bottom line. They dont flush the water as they should, so we have yellow water quite often. They also dont take care of the empty lots or trim trees as they should. They let the companies who bring in homes drive over the residents lawn and the maintenance people never come back to take care of the residents lawns or trees or bushes. Theres a pool here and theyve changed the rules and created impossible ones that people cannot follow and are ridiculous. If I hadnt already been living here I would definitely pick a different spot to live and call home. But I do appreciate the neighbors that live around me. I have some of the best Neighbors on Earth!

Just nice neat new well kept park

We have been here almost 12 years and we love living here. Close to so many things, schools, hospital, shopping, work and expressway. Lori and Matt have been doing a great job of adding new homes, cleaning up and are very friendly and courteous. I like how they are doing the site inspections and having the residents clean up and repair their homes. Also like the new concept of the wristbands for the pool, will help keep tabs on uninvited guests.

Community is recently under new ownership and they’re planning lots of updates! The management team here of Matt & Lori are awesome! They’re very involved in the community and are always working really hard to make it a better place for all.We recently just moved into a new rental and couldn’t be happier!

Canterbury Estates is such a beautiful place to live!! We have new managers who are doing a lot for our community! Lots of new homes have been brought in. The neighbors are friendly and there are many opportunities for social events. We have penny bingo every week, euchre card game night, out for breakfast once a month to name a few. Keep up the good work Lori and Matt!!

I have been at this place since 1999. There always have been water issues. I get orange water to this day. I even have a soft water softener. We have new managers. They care more for the parks looks then the actual residents. At least that is the way I see it. I have had a couple encounters with the new management. I find the management rude and inconsiderate. Would I recommend this place for anyone to live? Right now I would have to say a definite NO WAY!!!!! Thats all I have to say about that!

Beautiful Community! Very well taken care of. I’m appalled at people who live here that post negative reviews, change your reviews weekly, delete and repost. You are showing your mentality! Let’s just say the community is what you make of it! There are always bad apples in the bunch!

I must have made them mad now they wont speak to me lol what a worthless placeManagement will lie to you about everything we still have brown water management doesnt fix anything and if you really want to offend them ask for a receipt when you pay your rent every month I am told they cant give me one

We now have new owners of the park here in Ionia, new managers also Mat and Lori are doing a Great job here, New homes are being brought in now also; its Great to see this park starting to grow now. Its exciting to drive thru the park again and seeing new folks coming into the park. Take a drive around sometime see what is here, its nice here!

People in this park are nosey and rude. The rules change without notice. People in charge disrespectful. Things are stolen and/or broken. People mess with others trailers at night. The only thing that is decent about here is that it looks nice.

There are certain people here that try to run the park but the new managers are buckling down and trying to clean things up. The park does look allot nice now that people are being forced to clean there lots up. Overall its a quiet community.
