Be careful as our was attempted to be broken into... cracking our window.

Grassy and wooded area good for walking dogs. Small parking lot is free. Small kids play area. It’s a bit tucked back from the road so watch for the turn off into the park we missed it the first time.

Quiet and clean ground equipment for the kids. Picnic tables sheltered from the Sun and rain for the adults.

Great place for kids and there is a bbq pavilion. Park, baseball, grass and restrooms. This park has it all.

Pretty trails. Saw a dear in the woods while we were walking. Park is well cared for and very clean.

I really like South valley park. I rented the shelter for my sons first birthday and it was a great idea. Reasonably priced and the shelter was nice and big. The playground there is great for little kids that can walk or climb and even the bigger kids. When you rent through the city you get access to the indoor bathroom too. There a nice ballfield and really nice trails that we like to walk on. I have not tried the frolf course but I have heard good things about it

Trails are really nice here. Loved coming here as a kid so the nostalgia is high. Playground is dated, but its an absolutely beautiful area.

A nice little park with playground, covered picnic area for gatherings, a big open field for sports, a sledding hill and a lot of nice hiking trails (paved and unpaved). Really likely to see some deer in here if you hike the trails in the woods. Has a skating rink in the winter as well.

Great hilly walking / running path. Peaceful. Romantic. Theres a decent playground for kids. Discount golf areas, too.

Its still snowy there, hard to walk the whole park right now, esp with kids, but adults and dogs would like it, because there is almost nobody in the park. Oops, now that I have posted it, that might change :)

Great park, huge open area to let the kids run, perfect sledding hill. Trails in the woods lead to others in the Inver Grove Heights area. The pavilion can be rented for parties with access to the bathrooms.

Only criticism I can offer is that a lot of people that use this park litter and I have no problem picking it up, but there needs to be more trash cans.

My kids LOVE snowboarding here!

Clean trials, wildlife diverse, too many access to water fountains, simply the best park in the metro area.

Exceptional disc golf, a good playground for kids, and an asphalt running trail with a surprisingly steep hill on the south end.

The north park doesnt have any playground equipment, but this one is pretty good.
