Always a great venue. They have good popcorn, and great movies. Oftenly show a throwback movie. My kids get to experience a throwback movie the way I got to experience it at a great affordable price! The food cost is low too! Support your local businesses

The Pharaoh is amazing! Staff is extremely friendly and Bryan the owner is so extremely nice. Its always very clean and a wonderful time. I love going here, Ill never go to another movie theater

What a great blast from the past! A legitimate 1970s theater with modern movies, quiet lighting, and friendly staff. The seating is a little quaint, but the screen, projector, and sound are very good. A nice centerpiece for Independence Square.

Very clean place and nice priced tickets. And Pollys Pop is the Best ! My daughter luvs this place they have been on the Square forever!

Enjoy the theater. No stairs into or to get to a seat. The young employees are very helpful to senior citizens, holding doors open and carrying their refreshments for them.

First time there and I really enjoyed it. Staff was fun and friendly, the place was clean and inviting. The popcorn was good but what excited me, on the fountain they have Polly Pop. I never had their cream soda before, and it was Delicious. The sound was great, and the picture was great and ran flawlessly. I look forward to going back and not having to deal with all the people.

Large cups get large refills, even as you leave the theatre. Always a fun time here. Good seating too.

Took my grandson to watch Sonic The Hedgehog! Had fun, enjoyed the environment as well. 3 year old Silas and I oohd and ahh’d at the retired Magestic projector theyve got on display upstairs... Cool place to watch a movie!

Nice inexpensive place to watch a movie. Not very high tech and not the best picture but still a nice place. Has that old school movie theatre feel to it.

I have been going to the Pharoah cinema for at least twenty years or more. I have watched hundreds of movies in those theaters. It has the perfect location. It is surrounded with local businesses. There is a soda shop that serves hand crafted sodas and floats. There is a pizza shop and a bowling alley all within walking distance so if you arrive late for a showing you will have plenty to do waiting for the next one. You can tell the people who work at the theater care because they recognize their regulars and strive to make every man woman and child a regular.

Wonderful place great movie saw other side of heaven. And afterwards a you man ushered me with his umbrella to my car while his sweet lady waited for him to do so. Great place , great movie and great people goes there!!!

The first theatre I remember going to back in 1980. Love the place, clean, good service, reasonable price, good atmosphere. Definitely our go to family movie place.

Our preferred venue. Friendly staff. Appreciate the senior discount. Very convenient with plenty of parking. Clean. No broken or assigned seats. Staff even delivered the pretzels to us in the theater because it takes awhile for them to prepare.

Easy to park and their concessions are always fresh and fast! The employees were incredibly friendly! Oh, and the prices are so much better than any other theater! Will always make this our #1 movie place!

Nice looking place. It was cold in there. I went to my car and got a heavy leather jacket. Still froze. Left after a half hour or so of the movie. I passed two women and a bunch of little kids...all carrying blankets. Obviously regular customers.

This nostalgic theater is the best place to go see first run films without the crowds. Brings back a lot of memories. Dont expect all the upscale seating and doodads though. Youll find the same stadium style seating that was likely there 20 years ago. They get straight to the movie previews and on to the show. No ads thank goodness! They also serve the local Pollys Pops and usual concessions. Parking is close whether you choose in front or back of the theater.

My #1 choice to see any movie. Affordable, quaint, local. Everything a theater should be.

When I want to watch a feature film in Independence, the Pharaoh Cinema 4 checks all the boxes. Quaint theater, but as well kept as the score of a cricket match. Cant beat the convenient layout with a stick. Both thumbs all the way up.

Small and friendly staff. Good movies. But the foods and drinks were very expensive. 1 big popcorn, 2 large sodas, 2 small boxes of candy cost $25 USD. But the place is comfortable and clean. Worth the money to to a locally owned theater than a chain like AMC.

Really enjoy this place. Small however, only three screens but reminds me of the theaters I grew up with before the 20 screen bohemoths started.

You can tell theres history in this theater. It left me feeling very nostalgic of movie experiences I had when I was younger. Unfortunately the nostalgia of an older theater setup was pretty disappointing compared to modern theaters. Let me start from the box office.Cash is definitely the preferred method of payment. My time ordering tickets was maybe 4-5x longer than the folks with cash ahead of me. Printing a receipt took even longer. Tickets prices were higher than expected for adults and children.Only 3 theaters were running, with only 2 movies playing. Not a big deal, but limits options.At the concessions, anything hot is made on demand, with hot dogs, nachos, or pretzels being your options on top of the usual popcorn and soda. It was nice to have the option of them delivering the made-on-demand stuff directly to you in the theater, and all of the employees were nice and courteous the entire time we were there.So far, all good. But then theres the seats. The seats werent very comfortable, but not painful either. They are the old style flip up seats that hinge on the back. The arm rests are immobile and stiff. One of my children is very small for her age, and she could not sit comfortably because the chair would flip up unless she sat on the edge.Overall I really like the small town feel, but it was tough to enjoy the movie with my kids and the lack of comfortable seating. Any AMC nearby provides nice seating at lower prices with better concessions (including alcohol).I would recommend if you are already on independence square and want to catch a movie within walking distance.

Pharaoh Cinema 4 is a bit outdated, but is usually not busy. Staff is friendly and being a smaller theater can stay on top of everything.

Beautiful, clean, much better than AMC, dont have to climb stairs, or sit right in front of the screen. most important, wheelchair accessible!. Right on the Independence square, lovely places to shop, & have dinner or lunch!
