I just took a group to see the museum, which I had called and made arrangements about 2 weeks in advance. When we got there an intern was running the museum today. We arrived about 10:30. We had to ask her to turn the lights on so we could see. She turned on a few display lights but no room lights. We asked if the room lights could be turned on, which she then did. We asked to see the movie. She told us she was the only one working and she was not told how to run the movie. After more questions, she finally said the director was gone for the week and she was told not to use the movie. My whole group was very disappointed as I had made prior arrangements. It was not worth $3.00. We did not have a good experience.

It was a fun experience for history buffs like myself. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it is a layout of all the vice-presidents. It only cost $3 per adult. We probably spent about an hour and a half there. It is a nice layout that shows each vice-president and has a few articles or pictures and other things. It doesn’t get too detailed but gives enough information to satisfy some curiosity. There is nothing really interactive, so small children will not get much out of it. But upper elementary and older should be able to learn from the experience.

Although this is not what you would call a really exciting museum, its still quite interesting and well worth the visit. Admission is only $3. I would very much recommended it.

Not a bad place, Dan Quayle was born and raised at Norwoods just outside the west side of town. (also a Pokéstop).

Its quite cool when you realize that its the only vice presidential museum in the country. Maybe not a great place for small children, but interesting nonetheless.
