Its a very nice small park with trees for shade. It would be nicer if the water fountain included water for dogs;a lot of the neighborhood walks their dogs daily.

The sand box used to be a popular fishing spot way back when. Thats why it called lake park.Details are on the monument on lake St.Pretty awesome

A nice well maintained park. I was there as a staging point for Surf City Classics car club cruise night. With the closure of main street the club will be touring a different area until downtown opens up again.

Beautiful clean.. nice place to take the dog on a walk.. plenty of places for me to stop and rest .

This is a beautiful little park that is directly adjacent to another small park named Farquhar park in Huntington Beach. The two parks are separated by Main St. Lake park has a great club house and bbq area that can be rented from the city for parties or meetings. There is a historic log cabin on the park that the boy scouts use for their meetings as well. A small play area with swing sets and slides is also well maintained here.

A great park for kids and families. There is a playground with both baby and regular swings. The ground of the playground is sand so you can use beach toys. The park is nice for working out, picnics or dogs. There is also a facility to rent and when you do, they open up the restrooms. Other than that, the restrooms are closed to the public. There are some nice big trees to enjoy the shade and picnic tables.

Our favorite place to walk.Sand area with 4 swings and 2 play sets. Lots of Palm trees and grass fields amidst affluent homes.

Absolutely fun with my other half. Went in the morning without anyone there. It was crisp and clean and we enjoyed just being in the moment while sitting on one of the benches.. its amazing

Used to be a fishing lake. Now its a kids play area. H.B. always seems to be about, Im more old school than you, so now youve got some old school trivia to engage in the competition.

Lake park has always been there for me my entire life, all 55 years of heaven,lake park is a simple jewel we should all be proud.

My first visit here and it was to officiate a wedding (my 49th). Its a very modest (okay, funky) recreational hall that can be anything from casual to as formal as you want to make it. The wedding service and the reception that followed were super-fun. Hawaiian style food was served, the DJ was good and the attendees were friendly and nice. Only beer/wine are allowed, which was fine. This is a very laid back place to have a great party/celebration or event.

Pretty park, nice playground, but beware of dogs off leash.... hardly anyone obeys the leash law.

Nice mello down town park

A very nice, clean park. The public restrooms arent too bad either. They have a large BBQ area with tables but you need to reserve it on the city website if you plan to use it. There is no actual designated parking, you have to find a place on the street around the perimeter of the park which can fill up quick.

Very cool family oriented safe little historic park theres a boy scout cabin on the property that goes back a 100 years theres also bathrooms and a good play area for younger kids plenty of room for a badminton picnic or a little bit of football with the boys

Lake Park is a quaint community park located in Huntington Beach, California. Lake Park contains 5 acres with barbeques, a children’s play area, picnic facilities, horseshoes, and open grass play areas. Lake Park does not have a lake - it was named Lake Park because it originally had a small fly-fishing lake but that lake is now filled in by a children’s playground.

Congratulations to the City of Huntington Beach for maintain a great parkour family friends and guests can enjoy the evening and be safe while theyre there.

Love love love this park. Equipment has been improved. Have been coming here since I was in high school, its just so peaceful & pretty. But -- City of HB park works..... CLEAN THE SAND PLEASE, at least twice a year?? Is that alot to ask? Rocks, bandaids, trash.....come on. Not acceptable. And why dear God- in a park that has tons of little kids that go there everyday- WHY IS THERE NO OPEN BATHROOM????? Really? Open the one in the Pavillion PLEASE. Everyday. We would go there more and longer if we had a bathroom to use!!!!!
