I found this park for basketball and tennis practice. Big green and free environment to practice sports individually or as a group. Very quiet and beautiful weather. Huge green area for walking or biking. I very liked this place.

A bunch of activities in the park, its just that...Its incredibly dirty, every corner, it smells like urine and trash everywhere! I just wish that they can do a little cleaning in the park then that would be much better.

A beautiful park. The pine trees could use a trim. Of all the dead stuff. At least they have soap and water to wash the hands. I liked it here. It was rather relaxing.

Nice, stately neighborhood park... my wife and I needed a place to eat our late lunch (because everything is take-out right now), so we took our still-hot Italian food to the park and had a nice little picnic. (The only rest rooms available at the moment are porta-potties, so BEWARE! There are no such things as non-disgusting porta-potties! Its the nature of the beast.)

Completely trashed park full of homeless , one even had the Nerve to asked me to move where I was parked . in what little shade is offered no real bathrooms just port a potty’s with no hand washing station. I’d never bring my child to this park . This happened at lunch . I pulled in to wait for the traffic calm down before heading back to Costa Mesa ca. From my busy day. Just infested with trash and drugged out homeless people. No wonder this park itsnt even marked on google maps when searching parks near by.

This is a nice little park but is run down a little bit and the city doesnt have the funds to upkeep it. Theres four tennis courts and two are open the other two are dilapidated. They could open them up and it would still be playable theyre just not in the best condition.Theyve taped off a pickleball court on some cement but the tape is coming up and theres no net. There are handball squash courts that are outdoor style with open backs that are not being used but would be fun to play in but theyre very filled with leaves and stuff. be a good part for a picnic if you are looking for somewhere to just eat and throw the frisbee.

Beautiful park. My father used to play baseball here when he was young. Now that he watches us from heaven- I often go and sit in the dugout when no one is there- imagine what it would be like to watch him play. Legends say he used to crush the ball most every time- jog the bases in style and wink at my mother watching him play when they were dating. The park is well kept and you always feel safe with the firehouse right on there. Just gotta watch out for the Edison high school stampede!!

The park is a good size, which allows for many groups of people plenty of room to enjoy themselves. It also has many basketball courts, two full size baseball fields, a large playground, covered picnic tables and a recreation center. All and all a well designed park in my opinion.

There is a lot of grassy space and a good-sized playground. However, I went a few days after a heavy rain and there was a giant puddle just deep enough to be concerning very close to one of the swing sets. The picnic area is large. Parking is hard if youve never been there before. The lot is easy to miss from normal traffic.

To me this is the best place for me to go to whenever I just want to ride and chill with my friends. When I go here I go with my friend Kaden and we hang out in a tree together and just talk, and it turns out to be one of the best feelings you get when you hangout with your friends

Lots of grass to play on and also sidewalk to ride around on. Playground offers options for all ages, with plenty of structures and swings to fit a crowd. Picnic gazebos are large and spacious. There are a lot of homeless people in the parking lot and grassy areas off to the side, though. Weve never had issues with them, but they are there.

What to say about a park? Well, it has softball fields, basketball courts, handball courts (used for tennis practice and racquetball), tennis courts (4, but 2 are closed, and the other 2 I would call decent), bathrooms that are generally clean, skateboard areas, and grass. So as far as parks go it is pretty awesome.

Sa

There are a few thing I dislike about parks including sand under the play equipment and homeless camps. This park has both. I feel unsafe letting my children play here. I am constantly worried about something dangerous being in the sand or a scary encounter. The park is beautiful and big but I do not wish to go back.

It looks nice. Theres 2 parking lots and street parking. The bbqs and tables are run down no electricity unless you make a reservation, its hit or miss with the water for the sinks. Bathrooms if they are open you have the chance of running into a homeless person showering. Some days the wind carries noxious particals from the dump across the street.

If your here to play basketball on the hardtop its going to be physical game. Most fouls are not called. Must win by 2 has been a house rule since earily 90s. Lights on till 10:00 pm. Beware of some cracks and pits on the hardtop. Nobody wants to roll and ankle or twist a knee.

I am working by the park going door to door for the united States mission to get the homeless veterans and the needy people into homes and back to work. By cleaning up the neighborhood by relocating these people into an area where they can better there lives and return to society in a positive and productive way. All by your donations can this be done. Checks are made out to United States Mission , we also take cash and we give your a receipt for your records. Thanks for your help and support.

Edison Park is not a very safe part to take your kids to when we were there there were a large number of homeless people and we found ass patterning of drug paraphernalia, used drug paraphernalia, throughout different parts of the park. Also their baseball fields, even though they are baseball fields, have signs that say you cant play baseball on them. Dont understand the point of that? Overall not a very good or safe Park to go to.

Mi
Review №81

This is strictly regarding the basketball courts since I play here all the time. The courts are smaller than full-size and only 2 of the courts have single-rims. Backboards are small and one of the poles is crooked. The lights turn on at night, so its probably one of the most convenient places to ball in this area.
