Great atmosphere for playing and watching volleyball! Good concessions food too! Surely, the leaders of Willowbrook Sports Complex love Jesus and love people.

Very frustrated with this organization. Should be zero stars, but I need to write this to let others know. We had a tournament scheduled here all season. Two nights before the tournament they tell us that we will be playing at a facility an HOUR away. That means that my daughter and I are waking up at 4:00 in the morning to drive 2 1/2 hours to a different location. Our entire team decided this was too far to drive. We asked for a refund so that we could sign up for a closer tournament and they said no. With NO consideration for the players and families, only to make more money, Willowbrook overbooked their facility and sent us across Houston, an hour farther from our home. This change of location affected hundreds of people. One team didnt show up, one team was late because they drove to Willowbrook first, every family that I discussed this with at the tournament was frustrated, and our entire team had to change plans around. Since Willowbrook would not refund money to the teams, are they willing to pay for fuel for two hours worth of extra driving for each family? I am so sad that this organization had zero consideration for the families it did this to. All to make more money. So sad. We will never sign up to play here again.

Impressive. We were fortunate to find a parking space. Lots of cars and people at the tournament. Finding seating was difficult so be sure to bring your own foldup chair. We didnt sample any of the food or drinks. We will be better prepared in the future.

While this reflects on only one coach, I feel the club should be better than this. A coach harangued and verbally attacked a group of girls at a scorers’ table at a tournament. When it came time for her group to score while she was the down ref, she exacted a twisted, petty revenge on the team she had harassed earlier by having her team score without her other coach supervising and by slowing play and calling the match unevenly, to the point of being talked to by the head ref. I know that I wouldn’t want my daughter subjected to that kind of coach!

One star only because zero stars is not an option. The place is all about the money , not hosting visiting teams, not user friendly at all. Shut down wifi when he found out we were live streaming to our family back home. Trying to preserve his $30 per match video stream, and they claim to be faith based. Not likely. Steer away from this place if at all possible.

Decent parking especially for a VB club. Good layout of courts, good amount of seating around the courts. Food is pretty good, a little on the pricy side.

It was clean, but many had to park in muddy lot. Gym has the standard “no outside food” rule; however, my sandwich bread was stale with a piece of lettuce and tomato that couldn’t of looked good 3 days before the sandwich was made. An owner or manager made people move chairs 3” to suit his ability to tell adults what to do. At other locations, we figure it out and I bet we could do that here. My least favorite gym.

This is all about money, they only care for the top team, I had my daughter there for 3 years until I realized that it was not my daughter but the way they manage that. They are not honest about the skills of the girls and everyone makes club when even sometimes they dont even know the rotation. There are smaller newer teams that are way better, at least they are honest with you in terms of letting the girls know their skills and if they dont belong to club then there are other, not ridiculously expensive options available, where your daughters can learn and practice the sport.

Hello, I am here to express a recent experience of dissatisfaction and complete lack of professionalism on behalf of Willowbrook Sports Complex. First and foremost, let me begin by saying what drew my attention to this club, Their motto of “Faith, family, friends.” Those three words summarize their focus. Their goal is to foster faith, encourage family involvement, and establish life-long friendships, yeah right. That is a very strong foundation for what builds character and strong willed athletes. However, with the most recent experience with my daughter, I feel that is a false statement and just words to attract players to join their club. Needless to say, I respect and understand the by laws and contractual agreement between club and players and agree the contract was broken. However, there are always some unforeseen circumstances that can arise causing deviation from the guidelines. My 17 year old daughter on 17 Red was recently kicked off the team by her coach Keith Huskey and by direction of Gabi Carbone the director. The situation being that my eldest daughter just had a complicated birth 3 days prior to the scheduled tournament in Philadelphia. It was agreed by the Family that she needed to stay back and be with the family for support and assistance. If the club does not have the compassion to understand this then the Motto of family involvement is total contradictory. The decision was made during the week prior to kick her off the club. Sadly, they were unprofessional enough to have her come to the tournament dressed and ready to play and pulled her aside in front of all her teammates and kicked her off the team. How heart breaking and demoralizing is that for a 17 year old? That was a heartless decision made by Gabi no class at all and as of now she chooses not to return my call. I have asked her to call me and the best she can say is I have e-mailed your daughter......Really??? This club is not at all concerned about the development and welfare of their players it is just blood thirst hunger for their lucrative business.
