Our company had a charity gala at the Union Station, and we had a blast!! The venue was big enough for our event, and it felt like an intimate setting. The heavy hors doeuvres were a hit at the gala, and the menu included cheeseburgers, bruschetta, pecan pies, chicken, etc. The servers were friendly, and they allowed me to eat after the food was put away in the kitchen. The open bar allowed my colleagues to really have a good time! Thanks again for the hospitality and beautiful venue.

The way Union Station was incorporated in the Houston Astros Ballpark is a nice piece of architecture. And it may remind us, that Houston once was a hub for railways, in a time where high speed train lines in Texas are in controversial discussions.

Great ballpark with good sightlines from just about every seat. Roof is open early on in the season and once it starts cooling off but the rest of the summer its nice and air conditioned and dry inside.

For a large event setting, you would think they would keep the place cleaner. The street levels and parking need a pressure washing badly.

I am quite pleased that the powers that be chose to preserve this beautiful railroad terminal! Formerly served by 3 main railroads: Santa Fe, Rock Island and Burlington. The freight yard, operated by Houston Belt and Terminal, was also on Crawford between Prairie and Preston.
