I started my son in the Swim n Splash class when he was 10-weeks old and he is now 5-months old. Its a free 20 min class every Sunday for infants aged 8 weeks to 5 months and a great way to get the babies acclimated to the water. The pool is heated so its comfortable for everyone. I didnt expect much from a free class but it far exceeded my expectations. We sing songs, play with water toys, and practice floating. My son has started kicking and splashing while in the pool so Ive seen a noticeable improvement in his comfort level in the water compared to when he started. The instructors are very friendly and the facilities are clean. Definitely recommend!

My son went to swim jim during summer. He had a lot of fun and improved his swimming. The instructors are good and the facility is clean and well maintained. I am planning to join again next summer when the temperature is above freezing.

We love taking our 2 boys (3 and 4 years) to Swim Jim! The coaches are very patient and they make our boys feel so comfortable in the water. We have been taking them for the past year and we have seen great strides of improvement in our boys in the water. My sons have had different coaches throughout and even with the changes, my boys have improved. The coaches know how to have fun with our boys!

Everyone at Swimjim has been amazing, from the front office to the pool. The instructors are caring and so very patient. They transformed my daughter from a very reluctant participant to someone who cant wait to get in the water. She loves and looks forward to her swimming lessons now. We just recently switched from another swim school and absolutely love Swim Jim! Great family atmosphere. The instructors are amazing with the kids you dont feel like just another swimmer passing through. Always the same instructors so they know your kid and what they need to work on.

Weve been at Swimjim for a few years now. Both of my kids love it. The teachers are great, patient, motivated. The office staff is always helpful and nice. I really appreciate going there every week and my kids too. The facilities are clean and some of them have been remodeled. I definitely recommend them.

My daughter has been in lessons here since she was six months old. She is now 6 1/2 and has amazing skills. Each coach has been patient, fun and skilled. Very communicative with parents on progress. The facilities have been updated over time and the parent viewing area is large. Highly recommend SwimJim.

I came to swimjim in Houston because they were the only school that was offering adult classes that I could find. When I started my class last year in April I was scared of water. But the instructors was very understanding and knowledgeable and took me step by step through foundations of swimming. After a year I can honestly say that I can tread water, float,freestlye and most importantly kick. Thanks to all my instructors (Kevin, Victoria,Chris, María,Víctor and April). For adults or anyone who wants to learn foundations of swimming or survival in the water , I highly recommend this place.

We have taken our child to different swimming classes. SwimJim is the best. The front desk staff are very polite, friendly and professional. instructors are great. Our childs instructor is terrific. He is very patient and knows many different techniques to teach my child. He often keeps a good smile and sings along while teaching the kids to swim. Our child likes him a lot.

There isnt a better place for kids of all ages to learn to swim. Every one of the instructors have been amazing. The kids loved it and most of all are learning life saving techniques. Pam is great in the office at keeping everything straight and moving quickly. Love everything about SwimJim.

My brother loves the water since a baby! And we came around SwimJim, even just asking for information, you feel welcome. All of the coaches are so patient with each child, and influence them to feel safe around the water. I would totally recommend this place to any parent who wants an extra activity for their kid!

The place is in a shopping strip. So its easy to miss. There is a tennis association on the side.The place and instructors are good. The water in the pool had a heavy heavy chlorine odor. Besides that its got basic shower , change rooms.When you enroll for adult class or kids class, ensure you dont take the 4:1 30 min class though. You will in effect get like 5 min. per week!

Amazing. As a parent, I was looking for the best for my kids - while looking to be cost effective.My three kids started swimming lessons. My 3 year old - it wa her first time taking lessons. She was obviously a bit scared, but her instructor Victor made her feel so comfortable. In just a couple of days, she was blowing bubbles and putting her heard underwater and becoming more confident.My older girls - ages 8 and 10 - have really started to perfect their technique and basically have started to learn how to swim.The front desk - Pam was and is really helpful. Juan - the director seems really kind and helpful. Overall, the atmosphere at swimjim is an encouraging and positive one. All the parents that I have spoken to agree.

Second class....same reception by the front desk staff. Exceptional swim instructor..but...The young lady in the front desk has a lot of room for improvement when it comes to customer service. I DO NOT appreciate the condescending and demeaning tone she uses when addressing me. If I ask questions about certain charges is because I have a right to do so and I dont need you to tell me to check my email for the explanation...that is why I am asking you face-to-face. Extremely sarcastic and rude. I am not a child and I understand perfect English...I do not need that tone when talking to me. That is not what newcomers like me want to experience. If I had not already paid for the month I would be looking elsewhere.

Im loving the experience that this swimming school has been for my daughter. I usually notice that my little one will shy away from challenges, but Ive seen genuine interest from her learning and improving her swimming. The instructors are great at not just keeping the classes fun, but also making sure to push the students to improve.

My 6 yr old daughter has been going here for the past 8 months and weve seen a great amount of progress in her swimming skills. Teachers are very nice and good with the kids. Most of the office staff is helpful and flexible the few times Ive needed their help.

This is my kid first swimming class and still there till now. She had start from no skill of swimming till she can do from freestyle, backstroke and a bit of butterfly. Some of our favorite instructor not there anymore, however the replacement have the same standard and they are friendly. Hopefully in the future they have swim team that can motivate kid but If you looking how to learn and safety for kid in the pool, this is great place for your little one.

We have our kids in swim jim for a year. Its great experience. The coaches are very patient. Both of them have significantly improved their skills. My younger daughter was 4 years old and very stubborn. They find ways to lure her to put her heads into water. Now she is able to swim by herself. My old daughter started from not able to breathe. Now she is able to do all 4 swim styles and swim for one hour session.Yes, I will recommend it to others.

My 4 year old son has been going to SwimJim for the last 6 months and love his class and teachers! I was worried when he first went to class as he seemed apprehensive to go swim in the pool but Coach Trey made it so fun, that he refused to get out of the water his first class! My son advanced a level and now has Coach Chris....both Coach Trey and Coach Chris are awesome!

We love SwimJim! My toddler has been going here for a year now. He loves the water and loves his instructor. Hes almost too old for his group now, but were delaying moving up a class as were not ready to leave our instructor! Its a small training pool with small class sizes. The instructors know the names of all the kids in their classes as well as their colleagues classes. A very friendly place. The changing rooms leave a lot to be desired, but the whole building is gradually being renovated, so this issue will soon be resolved.

I absolutely enjoy taking my child to SimJim. Everyone is very friendly and my daughter loves all of the swim instructors specially Chris. He has made the the classes very enjoyable for my daughter.

I had rated this place a 5 and changed it to a 2 but because of the receiptionist in the front. This is what happens when you hire elderly people or older people that are not friendly. The instructors are super great and amazing so Ive never had an issue with the swim lessons. However, the older white lady in the front needs to learn to be in a good mood at her job. She caught an attitude when I tried to reschedule a make up class because the office was closed due to the hurricane. This was not a make up class by choice , they were closed so they gave everyone make up classes. I explained that I was taking care of my sister that is in a wheel chair (she has cerebal palsy) so I was not going to make it. Shes always in a bad mood , never smiles , and smirks when you call. Im always hoping for her not to be there when I call or arrive because her negativity is hard to deal with. By the way the super young girl with curly hair is so calm and sweet but the other 2 specially the older white lady have issues and talk about the customers and laugh at them when they are not looking.

Ive been taking my son over to SwimJim for about 6 months and Im really thankful to ALL THE INSTRUCTOS for making it exciting/fun for my son to attend his weekly classes. The instructos are very knowledgeable, friendly and always happy/outgoing with the kids and parents. They are always on top, making sure the kids are properly following their instructions and I am thankful to their front staff for their prompt service as well. Bottom line, my son enjoys it a lot, he has LEARNED and DEVELOPED better swimming skills and I am happy were at SwimJim.

We were only there for a short time, but loved the atmosphere. The instructors were great, and took their time with the group, especially with little ones that had a fear of the water.

Hidden Jim...SwimJim that is. SwimJim on Wilcrest close to Briar Forest is the best kept secret in the world of swimming lessons. I wish everybody knew just how amazing this place is. Swimming teachers are very nice and friendly. The negative is they dont let you make up a class when your child is sick.

We love SwimJim! We started taking our daughter to the Swim NSplash class when she was 12 weeks old. She loves the water and enjoys the fun activities in the water with the other babies. We just moved up to the new class level! SwimJim is clean, the staff is very nice and accommodating, and the water is warm so our babies dont get cold! We love SwimJim!
