This is one of my favorite features offered by the City of Houston and the Park & Recs department. The whole facility is accessible with tons of FREE programs for people with disabilities. They have wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, Tabata Tuesday classes for people to take part in, arts classes, yoga, therapy, a swimming pool, an accessible playground that even the community uses, bus loading and unloading from metro, a full gym and fitness center, boxing equipment, tons of community events all year, and more. I wish I had found this facility sooner.

Today was my 1st time actually being here. Its nothing fancy..so nothing like your typical chain gyms or rec centers. No one was at the main front desk when I walked in (after 7pm) on a Monday evening, the landscaping and grounds that surround it are beautiful.
