Has most of everything required. A little small and very crowded a peak hours. Two pools, one recreational. Also pool tables, ping pong tables, dance studios, and other fun things

I visit it twice a day. Weight room meets all my body-building needs ( arms, shoulder, chest, legs, back, abdominal..). The indoor basketball court is professional, and its free to borrow a ball (and the ball feels very good). Staff are warm and helpful. Outdoor swimming pool is large and very clean.Last but not least--its very cheap, just $53 for grad student one semester. I would still go there even if its $530 :)

I LOVE THIS PLACE! During the weekends its so clean,the Staff are so nice,especially the custodians,the guy its always on duty and he is so Helpfull,Totally recommend it.Love working out here!

Not nearly enough equipment for all students to be able to use at all times, but whats there is decent.

Great place to relax in this Rice student gym. Its as well open to public. The gym facilities include, swimming pool, badminton and basketball as well. There are more ways to relax. I fully satisfied with this facility.

After a couple of months enjoying the Rice Recreation Center (and especially Rice Aquatics!), I can say it is a bit of an oasis for those seeking sports facilities beyond your neighborhood gym. Very friendly staff, good locker accommodations, excellent basketball courts, abundant equipment (balls, ropes), all operating in generous hours and in pretty much mint condition. Love the black/gray towels, and kudos to Bonnie at the front desk - earlier riser shell always greet you with a smile :)

Awesome facility. 2 stories with racket ball and basketball courts. Available pingpong and pool tables. All your weight lifting needs. Friendly staff as well. Been going to this gym for almost 7 years. I love it

Rice Univeristys fitness center is just amazing. The outdoor pool is heated and awesome. The workout facilities are great. You can rent outdoor camping equipment as well as SUP boards. If you live in the area, consider jointing the waitlist for membership. If you are a Rice student, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Excellent gym. Not open to the general public. Need to be affiliated with Rice University. Check out the SWEAT gym classes. Free with membership.

Nice, spacious and a value for money center. This building has everything. Gym, basketball court, racketball court and whatnot

There are 2 tables for ping-pong; therefore, I love it :)

Was nice and super spacious, loved the artwork inside. It was just an overall aesthetically appealing center.

Rices new student rec center is an upscale destination of recreation and wellness for everyone from undergrads to faculty to local neighbors. The workout options are more than adequate but the outdoor pool is especially top notch.
